The Finest Mess I Could Get You Into

Rai leaned his back against the wall a bit, noticing he had a little bit of static running over his body. His hand connected to the wall, and the lingering energy simply burned off into the metal. No good suddenly zapping anybody who brushed against him.
"Well, see, I'm a Shard. My actual speech is just a translation of a part of my mind. This body is just a vehicle for me. Hell, I probably could've made myself look like anything, as long as the droid body was functional enough. Either way, though, I'm not exactly the most patient guy when people annoy me."
He turned his head to look at Ebony again, leaning his head on one arm.
"So, why're you here? You got my answer."

Ebony stifled another giggle from leaving her lips before she straightened up and did her best to look serious, "Well, please don't laugh at me for this, but i came here to learn to master the force, i want to become a jedi, without having to turn to a temple" Ebony replied, her look of seriousness slowly evaporating as the shard watched her, her giggling returning.

"Pfft, Jedi."
Raijin let out another one of his metallic sighs. People always wanted to be Jedi. Not even because of the whole save-the-galaxy bit. It was because people thought there were either Jedi or Sith, and true Sith were evil. A rather polarizing view of Force users, to be sure.
"You ever see a Jedi use lightning, Ebony? Hell no. Bloody bunch of idiots."
It was kind of hard to stay mad when the red-haired woman was giggling at him like that, though. He kind of liked her inordinately cheerful manner.

Ebony giggled again, she liked the metal man, he was incessantly entertaining, no argument about it, however, she found her interest piqued at his ridiculing of the jedi. She rather much liked the jedi, she was in fact close with very many of them and she had seem them do some crazy stuff. "I wonder Mister Shard, have you ever seen a sith throw lava at someone?" Ebony asked with her cute yet sly smile as she leaned forth, chin falling into the palms of her two hands as her elbows propped her up.

Raijin leaned in a little, and he might've raised an eyebrow and smirked back, but he obviously had neither eyebrows nor a mouth. Ebony was teasing him. That was cool. Very few people even bothered to talk to what they saw as a glorified droid, let alone somebody as talkative as this woman.
"Dark Jedi do that sort of thing... Never seen a lightsider who'd touch fire-shaping with a million foot pole."
[member="Ebony Blackheart"]

Ebony smirked back with her usually childishly cute but largely attractive grin. Her lips in a wide grin as she leaned back in on the droid. "I've done it without a pole... or a light saber" She giggled back, the side of her lips curving into a sly little smirk.

"I was however internally screaming in fear and about to break down into tears, but luckily the sith didn't tear me to pieces. Damn was he a terrifying guy" Ebony quipped, for what seemed like a bad memory, she had very little emotional response to bring it back, she simply smiled and giggled once more.

"Gotta admit, I don't like Sith much either. Some of the rogue ones I met were decent people, but all bets are off when it comes to either the One Sith or those Vong-infested Primeval."
Raijin absently tapped his fingers on the table as he talked, thinking about the time almost a decade ago that his inexperience had led him to believing that the One Sith were the only allies the Shards would ever have. It was hilarious how wrong he'd been.
"I kind of prefer to not have people in tears or screaming when they look at me. Sad how often that happens, even when I saved the person in question."
[member="Ebony Blackheart"]

Ebony giggled again, unsure of how to react, not know if he was talking about her or another, but she giggled none the less. It helped to remove the stress and she liked the sound, she knew it was adorable. "it didn't help that he had me locked in a room covered in fire with a lightsaber out and ready to kinda kill me... so yeah, i was a little bit terrified since he was going to kill me. Hell, my boyfriend, a sith, he scared me half to death at first." Ebony continued with a light giggle, the enthusiasm dying slowly from her.

"Had you locked in a-"
As little as stories of the more insane Sith in the galaxy actually surprised Raijin, some of them were ridiculous. There were idiots out there who went around literally kicking puppies. Or there were also some of the more theatrical Sith out there, who felt like they needed to exposit about their murders. The big Shard facepalmed.
"Whatever. If you found yourself a half-decent Sith, then good for you. Just hope for his sake that he steers clear of the One Sith. Nasty bunch, and a lot of people out there will kill anybody allied with them for next to no reason."
He didn't add that he used to be among those people. Now, he only really killed people if they directly bothered him.

Ebony felt a little bit of guilt jump on her as she pulled her hands between her knees with her eyes cast down, the dazzling blue iris' no longer in view as the crimson fringe of the girl separated from the mostly raven locks. "He is one Sith actually" Ebony said, her giggle gone and a sheepish reluctance heaving over her.

"but he's really nice and fun and cares and all that, he's not like the rest" Ebony said, looking up at the shard, tears welling in her brilliant blue eyes as they locked onto the metal man.

Raijin held up a hand, a little bit concerned that he'd made Ebony cry.

"I'm not saying ditch him. I'm saying the exact opposite. It's likely that your boyfriend is gonna get in over his head, and then you'll both regret it."

He reached across and poked the woman in the shoulder.

"Ebony, if you like him, get him the hell out of there."

Ebony looked at the shard, "He's a sith, you know how stubborn they are... you were one of them weren't you? You hold yourself like an exile or renegade. I'm sure you know how bad the sith get about staying and going" she said, the tears still there, the sky blue colour of her eyes mesmerising enough even before the other features of her face that made her a walking piece of art.

Raijin just tilted his head at Ebony once again, seeming a little bit cold because he didn't have the facial expressions to give her as he talked.
"I didn't mean give him a choice, Ebony. If you have to, knock him out and drag him away."
[member="Ebony Blackheart"]

"you do realise, he is more than capable of doing that and more to me in the time it takes me to even contemplate the idea... i'm force sensitive, but i have no practical skills in it, i have no lightsaber, i'm just as good as your regular joe. That and i couldn't do it, i owe him my life, about seven times over now" Ebony said, her eyes were cast down now, the tears returning as her hands went back between her knees, the light blush appearing on her face as she even let off a faint quiver.

"I love him, i really do, but i can't do something like that to him, not unless he chooses to. I'm even meant to be apart of a strike force against coruscant, I have to let him decide or it wont be his choice, i wont stoop to the ideas of a sith to drag him from them" Ebony muttered, her voice no more than a whisper at this point as the fresh tears strode down her face, leaving a faint black line from where her mascara was.

"Oh, trust me, a Sith probably would've told you to kill him."
Raijin had quite a bit less sympathy than he probably should've, but he'd had to face too much to get out of the grasp of the Sith to sit there and let Ebony cry about her own qualms about kidnapping. His voice was lowered now, because
"You owe it to him to get him the hell away. If you're in the Alliance, you know as well as I do that that bunch'll kill or capture him on sight. Hell, the only reason they haven't come and hunted me down is that I offered to help in the assault as well."
[member="Ebony Blackheart"]

Ebony paused momentarily, the tears still there, "The alliance won't touch him" Ebony for the first time since their conversation had started, had a stern expression plastered across her face, She was serious. The tears were still lining her white cheeks as she stared at the shard, her resolution intense.

"The Alliance is not the biggest fan of vengeance and fury, they're a coalition force, not an armada of unstoppable juggernauts, if we had the power we'd take the time to hunt sith down, but we don't quite have that power" Ebony stated blankly. Then it finally occurred to her, the vastly unnatractive man from before who hadn't had enough of her chest was gone for near enough twenty minutes, suspicion was one word for what she felt, but it was best not to wait on such things. SO there she sat, a moment later she got out of her seat, vaulting over the table and landing perfectly upright. "I'm gonna go and head off to the little girl's room, we'll continue after" Ebony said, the jovial nature gone, now there was an almost anger to her.

[member="Darth Raijin"]

"Sure. Fine."
Raijin sat there, trying to calm himself down a little bit. There were tiny claw-marks in the table, now. Ugh. What a stubborn woman. He did wish he had that much trust in anything. People like the Talith woman and the anti-Sith groups would make Alliance actions into bloodbaths. And the Republic was no different, lately. No angry redhead was going to convince him of anything else.
"I give it five minutes before the waiter has her in binders."
He did, in fact, begin counting down. A wall or two wasn't going to be an obstacle with his weight.

Ebony walked into the rest room in a huff, her anger getting the best of her far too easily, she sighed, maybe she was being too tough on the Shard, maybe he was right. The thing was though, she could not get Vaul out from the stih, he would never leave them, he was born and raised by those monsters to become a monster, and he would do just that. Except, he'd be a lovable monster to her.

That was not her only issue however, as she felt the force weaken around her, like her sense were broken, like something was blocking off her connection to it. The next thign she knew, a wad of cloth was forced into her mouth and secured with several rounds of electrical tape. Then cuffs were slapped onto her wrists and just above her elbows, removing any ability for the girl to move her arms and then another set over her ankles. She struggled, but she knew she was not a strong girl and then she found herself thrown over one of her assailant's shoulders and was out the back door kicking and screaming.

Raijin heard a small noise in the back of his mind. And then he suddenly felt Ebony's presence disappear. He didn't have the greatest Force-senses, but people didn't just disappear from the little area he could sense. That was weird. Almost like... a ysalmir... Had the redhead gotten herself kidnapped? Really?
"Oh, goddammit."
The Shard leapt over the back of the booth, partially destroying it in the process. She'd gone somewhere near... Ah, there was the empty spot. He ran through the kitchen and found himself standing in front of a blast door. Oh, well... Too bad for the door. He grabbed Inazuma, leaving it off for now. The spike on the pommel was enough of a weapon for right now.
