DESCRIPTION

Throughout the annals of history, one of the most prevalent means of preserving a Jedi's or Sith's knowledge was through the usage of holocrons. Typically, this meant imprinting a reflection of one's persona to act as a Gatekeeper. This reflection would be a steward, a guide, and a deterrent for those attempting to access the wealth of information left behind. Yet, for one Sensitive in particular, there was no greater knowledge to leave behind than simple right versus wrong. It was said that, before the Four Hundred Year Darkness, the ideal of a moral government was strong in the Galaxy.

Yet, like any democracy, the government which reigned was subject to endless bureaucracy and corruption. Though, on the surface, the Fel Imperium was a bastion of progress and freedom, a closer glance would reveal the shadows within. Unfortunately, the Imperial Knight in question, whose name was lost to time, realized that there was not much that they could do to influence the nation as a whole. Their duty was to serve the Emperor after all, and as a result they set their eyes upon the next generation. Through diligent study and tinkering, they devised a way to impart something far more...accessible to the future champions of democracy. Something that could be valued by Sensitive and Insensitive Alike.

You see, the Force can feel the true intentions of living beings. And, while some can specifically hide their natures, the relic left behind was designed to easily remind the holder of who they were. By simply flipping open the lid of the Fel Star, one would be greeted to the sight of a hand crafted compass. Yet, more importantly, the needle would react to the thoughts and intentions of the holder and point North should their path be a moral one. In times of doubt or in times of dire decisions, the Imperial Knight hoped that this compass would light the way of the next Fel Emperor. Perhaps, maybe then, the Empire could remain on the straight and narrow just a little while longer. But as these things often go, collapse came before the Knight's dreams could be realized.

And now, the Fel Star falls to you.
