CONTENTS
 • Contains a ‘mental image’ of a location at a certain time and place. This is perfectly realistic, perfectly preserved for sensory triggering.
Strengths:
 • Sensory. The crystal contains a full mental image of a time and place. A user can direct their metaphysical self to move about, experiencing all senses whilst there.
 • Artistic. Tamara chooses only the most brilliant and artistic of scenes. These crystals are worth a lot of money for their rarity and artistic value.
 • Enduring. The crystal has no ‘expiry date’, the power within it will sustain it for centuries at least, millennia even.

Weaknesses:
 • Elitist. Only a Force user trained to use that power can experience the crystal. An NFU, Force Dead or cut off individual will just see a pretty crystal. It also will not work within a Ysalimiri field, if anyone wanted to nullify art.
 • Harmless. Nothing in the mental image can hurt the user. They float like a spirit among it, unseen and ethereal. This cannot be used as a weapon, it’s not even heavy enough to hit someone with.
 • Breakable. Though it is enclosed within an imbued lattice and is quite resilient, the crystal can be smashed without much effort, destroying the contained image forever.

DESCRIPTION

The Force has an infinite number of applications and uses, from changing the holonet channel to tearing apart stars. One branch of Force crafting can manufacture exceptional holocrons and datacrons capable of keeping information alive for millennia.
For Tamara, storing her memories and thoughts in this way never appealed to her. After all, she planned to live forever anyway, and she had no student she wanted to learn from her. Instead, she turned to a rather more esoteric skill of hers; using the Force’s ability to create visions and merging it with crystal technology.

Taking memory crystals which had once been used by the Jedi Order to store the names of Force Sensitive children, she instead reworked them to store an image. In essence, what Tamara created was a Force virtual reality package. The difference was that the sensations felt in this image could be felt by the user.
Each of these locations are in essence distilled memories of Tamara, focussed into the crystal. Due to her unusual life, this can encompass places and times now long gone.

By using the Force, the user could have their spirit enter this reality, interact with what they saw and enjoy the feelings created there. For instance in one she gave to [member="Enyo Typhos"] she created the image of an Alderaan mountainside, where Enyo would feel the cool wind, touch the cold snow, smell the tree sap, see the mountains and hills and taste the tang of ozone.
The reality is about 50 metres across, with an invisible wall blocking further progress.

This is a purely personal item. It has no military or dangerous applications. Use is voluntary, and the user can leave at any time. Whatever might happen in this world has no harm or injury on the real person. The most it might do is create mild addiction to the reality of the scene, especially if it’s much better than their present circumstances.

This item can only be used by a trained Force user. Sitting or lying with it in their hand they only need focus on the crystal in meditation to pass through to the reality.
Currently Tamara is taking commissions for her next creations. So far she has:
 • A beautiful Alderaanian mountain vista – sold to Enyo.
 • Coruscant’s main square in front of the Old Republic Jedi Temple and Senate Building.
 • Tatooine Dune Sea.
 • A forest on Endor.
 • A Velusian beach.

Memory crystals are rare however, so this batch of vistas will be limited to 10 depending on who wishes to commission or suggest one.
