The Fall - Hope Rises (PM for Invite)

A pause. An absence of words poured from him as his eyes almost died. The flare quickly morphing into malice as he his head snapped towards the Droid, "Gun! NOW!" he screamed, his hands dropping to his blasters, drawing them to the door and letting loose a hail of light. His fingers snapping back with ferocity in succession with the triggers, snarling as if he was some sort of caged beast.

"You.... you cannot live.... my name died with.... the Cartel...." he continued to snarl, the droid inching closer and closer the echoing grind of metal along the ground as the droid began to talk, "Sir, I took the eff------ort to clean the gun for you." the robot responded as it struggled, its arms looking ready to snap from the pressure as it inched closer and closer. It was a service droid, not some combatant.

Kay overheard the blaster fire. She quit cutting through the wall, with the new hole nearly complete and ran back to the first one that she had cut to see if [member="Vax'ildan"] was okay. It was hard to tell, but at least he was wearing armour. So [member="Thraxis"] had lost himself? She almost pitied him. Their rivalry was endless, though he had probably thought her to be dead. For the moment it was probably better that way.

She went back to the newer hole and continued cutting it through with the lightsaber. When it was finished, she shut it off and tucked it into her satchel. Then she snuck over to the door and opened it slowly, hoping that it didn't creak too much. Kay saw the droid struggling with the steel box. She pulled out her blaster, set to stun and then opened fire. She needed to distract Thraxis so that it would give Vax time to do whatever he needed to do.

Thraxis head snapped, looking to the droid as it fell still, his heart skipped a beat as he aimed his gun once again. His fingers rattled against the trigger, letting loose another volley of light as he quickly ran over to the droid, his eyes looking it up and down. Someone had the gall to paralyze his Droid. His teeth ran along each other, a crack forming in a few as his hands lurched over the droid, grabbing the minigun from its back with a heavy heave.

He ran as fast as he could, though it was slower then what he wished, in the mean time, he felt it, the twisting barrel, the sound of metal lurching from the barrel with a break neck pace, the sound of it piercing through the wall and landing with a crack as it implanted itself in the wall behind the door. "You can't stop the Monarch! The Sith couldn't! You rebels won't! Even time itself will bend to my will!" he screamed over the current of bullets streaming from the gun.

Well, kark. That probably wasn't a very good idea. He watched [member="Lady Kay"] fire two stun bolts at the droid, through the hole in the wall that she had cut. But as Vax stayed behind the wall, Thraxis ran and grabbed the minigun anyway. Something told him that these walls wouldn't hold up to it's fire. "Get down!" He called out to Kay before he dove to the ground himself, a ray of bullets flying through the wall over his head.

If he called out to Thraxis, he might just aim the gun down at the floor through the wall. That wouldn't be good. But maybe.. if this guy was as insane as he sounded, (and Vax has dealt with some psycopaths in the past) then he might want to finish the kill with his bare hands.. So maybe he should pretend to be wounded. He started with groaning, gradually getting louder. "Gah.. AH, kark..!" He curled up a little, his lightsaber still at the ready and concelaed within his body's position. If [member="Thraxis"] wanted to finish the job with his bare hands, then he would have to get within striking range.

He just hoped his gample would pay off.

There was no need to hesitate. Kay dropped to the ground as soon as [member="Vax'ildan"] ordered her to, and covered her head. The array of bullets and drywall littered the room in dust.

[member="Thraxis"] was sounding very much like the psychopath that she always knew that he was capable of becoming. Her heart pounded and she wondered if this was how it was going to end for her.

Kay waited and remained still. She heard Vax sounding like he was wounded, but she couldn't move over to him yet without giving away her position. This was a dangerous game that they were playing. It was no wonder that Thraxis had survived all these years.

He heard it, it sounded as if one of the bullets had torn through the flesh. A slick smile split across his face as he started to moan as if he had reached the pinnacle of ecstasy. He turned to the droid, his eyes half closed as he twisted towards the droid, "Droid, I know you have a few functions left, tell me, what have we got in stock?" He asked as his head snapped back, his finger pulling the trigger again to make sure the gun remained spinning.

"Well... Sir... we have some.... Carnivorous... Snails... or... Carnivorous... Seaweed." The droid forced out, taking short pauses between most words as the Pulse kept rattling through its body. "Ahhh. I do enjoy a good Snail Session." he said as he let the Minigun rip again. He knew there was a second member in their with them. He wasn't taking a chance.

Vax couldn't do anything but stay on the ground, pretending to be hurt and groaning in pain. Was... was [member="Thraxis"] talking about snails? What the hell could he be thinking to do to them?! Well, if he wanted to do something close, let him come. Patience is what was needed here. Hopefully [member="Lady Kay"] got down.

Kay couldn't believe what she was hearing amongst the gunfire. Was [member="Thraxis"] ordering his supper? Or were the snails some creatures that he used for torture? More than likely it was the latter. But what was she to do? She remained on the floor, coughing a little as the dust got into her lungs, though she covered her mouth with her hand in a bid to try to muffle the sound.

Was [member="Vax'ildan"] really hurt? She couldn't tell from here. But the ongoing shooting was getting to be too much. He'd have to run out if bullets soon, or the gun could overheat and stop working. But those were just theories.

Kay almost shouted at Thraxis to stop, but then changed her mind. Instead she just kept silent.

His eye twitched. He heard not a whisper. Not a peep from the wall. His eyes furrowed as he his fingers snapped, the feeling of Phirik rubbing against Phirik ever present as the Droid scuttled away as best it could to grab the snails. The sound of greased up parts crossing with the sound of rusted metal sliding across each other flaking the ground behind it.

Slowly he slid down the wall, holding the gun between his legs as his fingers ran along the trigger, up and down as the sound of blood and guts squished beneath the metallic shell.

Vax laid there, listening to squishing sounds and the droid wandering off. Patience. Patience.

OOC: Literally gonna stay there unless Thraxis comes in the room or throws snails in or grenades or something.

His fingers melodically ran along the trigger, narrowing the metal twig that held back a flurry of bullets. His eyes bouncing back and fourth. He waited patiently, he had heard lighsabers buzzingin and out of that room. It had become a waiting game. Whoever drifted of to sleep first would loose, though THraxis had the advantage in that regard, calling in the droid to leave and grab some drugs is an easy enough prospect.

His eye twitched as he saw a metalic body moving from the side, that familiar squeaking of metal and the undeniable sight of flaking rust falling into the ground. In its hands was a large glass container, and inside were the Doctors order. A large container filled with the Carnivourous snails. He had never tested them before now, but figured it would be a good chance to clean up shop.

His fingers snapped against each other, an eyebrow raised as the droid slowly placed down the conntainer, the sound of its gears twisting and churning as it struggled to fulfill its order but done so dutifully. A quick nod as the droid began to turn around, the sound of metal and slabs of flesh audible as it began to dissapear towards the hall.

Thraxis had reached iver to the container, his hands letting go of the gun for a few seconds as he pulled the terrarium over to himself , his hand clasping together into a fist as his hand went flying into the glass, its sound almost vibrating down the hall as he pushed it over towards the door, the whole part facing it as the snails began to crawl.

OOC: If you hear the sounds of lightsabers in a room the last thing you are going to do is go in there. Especially when you know its a trap.

The gunfire had ended and instead was replaced by other sounds. She could hear the droid moving around, going this way and that, and then heard glass breaking. [member="Thraxis"] was up to something, and she didn't like it.

Quietly Kay got to her feet and stepped towards the door. She opened it slowly, though still the door creaked. She peeked her head around and froze for a moment when she saw him. Even though it had been over a decade since she saw him last, she still felt the same feeling of being on the edge of a cliff, with Thraxis right next to her. He could either push her or keep her walking on the edge. The psycho always chose the latter. And no matter how many times she tried to defeat him, he would always win. What would today be like?

"Thraxis. It's Kay. Remember me?"

Dagger, Dagger, Dagger.
The shattering of glass, sound of something shuffling over the floor.. Vax turned his head to look at the door to see snail crawling out of a broken glass case. With what he said before about carnivorous, and snails, he would guess that these weren't good to be around. But, if he stood up he would be torn apart with bullets. With what he knew of these things that lived on Dantooine, they weren't super deadly, but they would eat you.

Keeping on the ground, he activated his last lightsaber and swung it horizontally and parallel to the ground, melting one that got too close. There was a lot more coming at him.. He kept an eye on the door incase [member="Thraxis"] came in, but until then he would just swing the lightsaber back and forth to kill them instantly.

His eyes wideened, his heart skipping beats as his breath become almost a non-exsistant pulse. He had heard heard the rumors, that Kay had still managed to sneak around, stalk about the underbelly of the universe always inches away from the next Siths blade. Though rumors were just rumors. His fingers started to twitch along the trigger. He was a man of his word, which had cursed him to not follow her.

"Does James blood still pulse? Does his eyes move with a fevered desire? Does his lips still suckle on any drug that falls onto his lap? Does he still live." he inquired. He was still bound and tethered like a dog to a chain with his words. He could only taunt. No harm could come to her by his hands while he still lived. But if he was dead. Then he could finally end the game of cat and mouse. His mind had grown weary, he needed to end it so he could move on. Move on with his plan. To start his war with the Sith.

Kay clenched her jaw. So he did remember. But then again, how could [member="Thraxis"] forget his favourite prey? And he brought up James. She lowered her head slightly as she answered him, unable to lie, even to him, even if it meant it would put her in danger. "James died...seven years ago. He died in battle, fighting the Sith. I only got word from those he had sent to protect me..."

She used the doorway of the room almost like a shield. "I'm sorry that you were abandoned here. You would have been better off fighting elsewhere."

Man, it sounded like these two went far back. Who was this James character? From how [member="Thraxis"] described him, he didn't sound the most wholesome person. But Vax had met some people who didn't live honest lives, but were some of the most trustworthy of individuals he had met, even when taking in the Silver Sanctum into account. Maybe this James guy was the same.

Abandoned? So, they left him here? In that case... this psycho may want a little bit of revenge. He readied himself to spring up unto his feet incase anything more transpired.

"Then the pledge has been lifted Kay." He said with a cunning laughter, his hand running along the spine of the gun again as he took a few steps away from the door. "I wasn't allowed to hurt any family member of James. Blood or otherwise. And his little play thing was a Sith if I recall so I wasn't aloud to engage in the battle... the bloodshed with the sith." he paused for a second, taking a deep breath as he walked further down the hall. "Now. It is time for war." he cackled the minigun dropping into a clump of flesh.

"Droid! Call in the ships! It is time to Kamikaze the Sith!" he screamed his fingers bouncing back and fourth as he took another few steps further away. "We have Seven years of war to engage in and I want that done within the next few weeks! Gather the gangs! Arm the Ships and pull out the stockpile!" his arms falling into the clumps of flesh as he began tgo crush them, already visualizing what he was going to do. "Tonight! We avenge Fiarr!"

Kay just blinked. She half expected to be attacked, but now here [member="Thraxis"] was, heading out for war. Was that what he had been waiting for all this time? To be released so that he could create havoc for their mutual enemy?

After a few minutes she snuck back into the room and then crawled back through the hole that she made. Kay ignited the lightsaber just for it's like and looked for [member="Vax'ildan"] in the shadows. "Vax? I think it's safe now. Are you alright?"

Vax'ildan

Dagger, Dagger, Dagger.
Oh. Ok, well, he was ready to charge out and cut [member="Thraxis"] down to the ground, but he seemed to be relishing in the prospect of fighting the Sith. Maybe he should be left alive. [member="Lady Kay"] Came back in with his lightsaber ignited. "Yeah, I'm fine. What about you? And, is it really ok to leave Thraxis alive? I like how he's against the Sith, but... He's more insane then they are." He kept his voice low incase the psychopath changed his mind.
