ADVANCED SYSTEMS
The Eye - Located at the very center of the megastructure, The Eye is the actual source of power for the entire Facility. A small star located just outside of the main galactic footing, The Eye is the very beacon that the Arkuhn Dyson Research Facility actually hinged on. The Eye produces all of the power, all of the readings, and everything else that the facility is based on and around.

Central PowerBank - Obviously, harvesting power from a star isn't really of any use unless one can actually store that power. The Central PowerBank is what takes in and regulates the outpost of the actual Facility. It is here that the mass quantities of energy is stored and eventually funneled to various other systems for use and research.

Research Alcoves - The Arkuhn Dyson Research Facility is at it's very core a research facility. This is not a weapon of war and nor is it meant to be. The station itself is a massive laboratory that studies stars, energy output, and a better path towards the future. In order to do this it is equipped with the best research equipment money can buy.

STRENGTHS:
 • Dyson Sphere: The Eye is a massive Super Structure known as a Dyson Sphere. Though a theory that reaches back to the very beginning of space travel, the idea has never been fully realized. The application of harvesting both matter and energy from a Star has long since been almost common place, utilized by various facilities such as the Star Forge and other construction projects. The fatal flaw in these projects however was that they utilized only a partial piece of the stars full power. The Arkuhn Dyson Research Facility utilizes everything. The entire facility stretches and covers the whole of 'The Eye', the central star within the megastructure. This allows the Facility to harvest and take the entirety of the stars energy output, a massive amount of power the likes of which most beings could only imagine. This is the sole purpose of The Eye, it is in essence a gigantic power plant the likes of which the galaxy has never seen before. The Facility produces, studies, and researches everything it can in hopes of eventually reproducing and creating sustainable cost effective energy to bring to the rest of the galaxy.
WEAKNESSES:
 • Unarmed: The entire facility is essentially just a massive megastructure that is waiting to be blown up. The entirety of The Eye is unarmed. There are no turbolasers, no missiles, and the only shields it has are located on the inside to contain the star within. If someone were to attack this facility they would find easy prey.
 • Unstable: Though mostly self contained and safe, the problem with building a gigantic megastructure around a star is that stars sometimes tend to be less than stable. Though most of the time the eye is well contained and kept secure, there have and can be incidents where the star itself acts up. This means that although generally safe, The Eye has the potential to be a catastrophe.
Description:
While Galactic Governments, Sith, Jedi, and Mandalorians toil away at their furnaces of war [member="Alric Kuhn"] and [member="Danger Arceneau"] look towards the future.

The idea of harvesting energy and power from the stars themselves has been a part of sentient life almost longer than space travel. Indeed solar panels and other arrays are as common throughout the galaxy as life itself, and many societies have long drawn on both inspiration and scientific research from the Stars. This is of course simply because Stars, and fusion energy itself is incredibly versatile.

This includes the production of weapons of war, with things like the Star Forge and other projects honing in on the power provided by various stars in order to produce and manufacture everything from droids to Star Destroyers.

It has been a common influence throughout the galaxy. Stars are a source of energy and power, and even many of the Galaxies common power generators such as Hypermatter are based on the initial idea of the powers of a Star. The problem with these reactors is they require massive amounts of reactant fuel to actually kick into life. This of course has lead many to seek alternative answers.

The answers for many had been to return to the stars, that ideal source of power that had been so dug into the minds of most sentient beings.

Galactic Government since the long forgotten Empires have always sought to harness the power of the Stars, utilizing them to create great foundries and production centers that would allow them to conquer the galaxy. Though some of these projects were long forgotten, others have been seemingly revived. As the Gulag Plague fell to a close and more powerful goverments rose, the leaders of the galaxy once again sought to make their weapons of war.

It was others however who thought not of conquest or destruction, but of the future.

Alric Kuhn and Danger Arceneau, long since having reached heights of success and power that most could only dream of developed an idea. The idea was a simple one, though complex in it's execution. Power, energy, more than anything else was what drove the future. The production of effective sources of energy allowed worlds to jump ahead in the creation of Technology, moving from the stone age to space within only a few generations.

So, unlike those filled with greed and hate, Alric and Danger set about the creation and study of something for the good of the Galaxy.

The Eye was their answer.

A massive research facility that would function off the same principals as those great furnaces of war, but would take a step further. The Eye would harness and take in the powers of a star, it's goal being the research and study of fusion energy. The hope of it's eventuality being the replication and distribution of nearly free, cost-less energy to the galaxy.

I am extremely hesitant to approve this in any capacity because of the potential this has. Given that this has no weapons, no defenses, and no shielding of any kind, as well as the inability to move whatsoever, I will tentatively approve this. However, should it ever be used in any other way aside from a power grid (including one that powers another submission as a weapon) it will be immediately denied.
