Lux in Tenebris
Hm. Let her go. Now there was an interesting proposition. She was proving a difficult interrogation subject. Even with the truth serum she had given away precious little that he didn't already know. Now it seemed she was pushing back against the serum's effects. He could probably coerce more out of her if he pressed the issue, but only if he wanted to involve more... direct methods.
He didn't want to do that, did he?
Arkaitz glanced at the interrogation droid, with its gleaming array of sharp objects. Cold eyes swiveled back to scan her young features. He knew the option his father would pick. Whatever beauty she had now the Iron Tyrant would peel away like petals from a flower, leaving naught but a withered stem behind. He'd a whole collection of such desiccated trophies in Vain Hollow. Well, not anymore. The First Order had seen to that.
The raven haired princeling looked away, then shrugged lightly. "Very well."
A gesture from his fingers and the shackles came loose around her wrists and ankles with loud clacks. The containment field's hum ended, blue light snuffed out in an instant.
"You're free to leave."
Of course, he failed to mention the tracking device they'd inserted underneath her skin when she was unconscious, or the fact that he had uploaded her features into the facial recognition software used by the Empire's holocameras.
