The Eternal Horde is a furthering concept for the planet of Tiantang, which previously hosted the Jin Empire and Tianese Empire. While these prior incarnations were based upon both Imperial Japan and Imperial / Communist China, the Horde is instead based upon the conquering Golden Horde of Genghis Khan as well as other Steppes horseman that existed in Eurasia centuries ago. We have a hierarchy of the Grand Khaan (at the moment, Temujin) and his anointed heirs, followed by his Generals, and then everyone else.
Do I have to be a Kagan-Jin to participate?
While preferred, it is not necessary to make a Kagan character to join the Eternal Horde. Like the true Khans, we are keepig the door to any who can ride, fight, or otherwise prove themselves as capable members of the society. It is only expected that you at least respect or learn Kagan traditions, and bend a knee to the Khaan.
How to they travel?
On the ground forces, the Horde primarily rides upon some sort of steed. The more traditional of them are likely comfortable riding a horse or beast, while others might find themselves more comfortable astride a speeder-bike. As far as starships go, there is no distinct set of craft for the Eternal Horde. It is encouraged to commandeer vessels, or even create "Uglies" from starfighter scraps found across the galaxy.
Does the Horde have a Force Order?
Sort of. Culturally speaking, some have absorbed the faith of their former Imperial Jin overlords known as Fangshi. Fangshi is a Grey order based upon Buddhism and Taoism, with a pinch of Shaolin martial arts thrown in. Monks of the Fangshi do not arm themselves like Jedi, preferring to use their hand-to-hand to disarm opponents.
More traditionally speaking, the Kagan-Jin of the Horde follow a shamanistic faith. All life in the galaxy is representative of a spiritual connection. In many ways, they are comparable to the Dathomiri. However, at the center of this faith are three Great Spirits. Öshla, the nurturing, Mother Earth type deity. Böghan, the masculine deity invoked by hunters and appeased to avoid his destructive power (natural disasters). Above them all is Banh Do, the spirit of balance between creation and destruction. Xenolinguists note that these gods are named for Ashla, Bogan, and Bendu concepts brought forth by the extraterrestrial ancestors of all Jin (Kagan included). Most notably about their shamanistic practices are their apparent replication of Kro Var shaping, but do not shun the unseen manifestations like the Shapers.
