No preamble, no beating around the bush as they said on Chandrila. No, Maynard immediately moved to engage her, rushing down the walkway in a Force-enhanced blur of speed, cobalt light swinging to clash with her crimson. It was to keep her blade pinned away even as his other hand rose. She had to fight the urge to roll her eyes. He had done the same thing on Felucia; rushed in with his blade then use a flamethrower to either try and cook her or blind her.

But the flames, even as the amber and orange glow indicated the milliseconds before a gush of fire would rush towards her, were not the more insidious threat.

Eldaah was no stranger to Art of the Small, to the manipulation of their galaxy at a molecular level. It was a skill that was essential for a Sith alchemist, especially one that served the Lady of Secrets were much of their work over the years had been manipulating and altering at the atomic level. DNA and molecules were the playthings of those that had mastered the art, and she had not known at all that Loske could perform the trick. Perhaps she had learned a few new things, as Eldaah was convinced that if the blonde woman had known the technique then, she could have held off against the alterations from HX7 easily, or at the very least could have controlled how the changes occurred. It was an indirect attack, designed to incapacitate and suffocate her into submission, and it was very clever...

But even as Loske's presence moved from molecule to molecule, another would change it right back to its proper composition. In the microscopic and atomic world that was the plane of those trained in the technique, another presence was there. It would be like a cloak to Loske's perceptions, black but for the purple glow were eyes might be. For even as Loske and Maynard fought together, so too did Eldaah have another with her. She always had her with her. The second blade of her lightsaber ignited and she quickly activated the spinning feature, using her weapon as a fan against the flames even as she reached out with the Force to crush the nozzle of the flamethrower.

"Felucia wasn't that long ago," she taunted. "Try something new, or is the adage true that you can't teach an old dog new tricks?"

She would engage Maynard in the physical realm while her Master lurked in the small, waiting to see how Loske would react next.
