The Drifter

Bombs. The blasts and damage rocked the cruiser to the core. It was a massive space battle as both of the vessels battered each other like two massive Kryat Dragons locked in a bloody war. Trails of atmosphere and bits of hulls leaked into space like blood of two massive monsters.

At the command of one stood a silent armored figure. His aura and persona filled the room with command and calm, despite their heavy losses.

"Concentrate all fire on their starboard engines," he ordered, his voice sounding mechanical and synthetic.

"Yes sir," chirped one of the officers on deck.

A volley of massive turbolaser fire surged at the enemy. The power crushed through the armor and shattered the engine, a massive explosion blossomed from the assault.

"Direct hit, sir, the ship is undergoing rapid system failure."

"Sir, their vector course is angled towards us," another officer screamed terrified. "Impact in three minutes.

The armored figure at the control waisted no time. "Begin evacuations. I shall initiate the sequence from here. May the Force be with you."

"Yes, Bishop, of course."

He stood watching as the last escape pod fled away from the doomed craft. The enemy vessel filled the viewport and the figure watched stoicly. He did not flinch. He did not cower. Not as the two made contact. Not as the durasteel gave way like paper. Not as the flames rushed up the bulk head and filled the bridge. Not even as the flames licked away at his body in massive aggony, not even as he finally succumbed to unconsciousness and began to float in the coffin like metal husk for hundreds of years.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay's ship, The Free Lady, exited hyperspace. They were going to need more fuel soon. As her ship wasn't overly large, the amount of fuel that it could carry meant making smaller jumps. And with the Free Colonies basically disbanding, she needed to conserve the money that she had and spread it out more until she got her next job.

Terrac called her to the cockpit. The two of them looked to the debris field, the two ships floating like ghosts in space. That must have been a tough battle. It wasn't uncommon to see floating wreckage in space, but it was uncommon to find ones so old. "Take us in closer, Terrac. Maybe we'll be able to board her, get some fuel or something else to scavenge."

"Are you sure about this, doll?" Kay nodded to him. "Alright then. But...let's be careful this time. Okay?"

"Okay. We just need to see what's there. I'm sure that the sensors will let us know if we're able to get in there in the first place. I haven't been able to get us space suits yet."

Terrac nodded and brought the ship towards the floating ghost ship. The sooner that they could get out of there, the better. But he was right. They did need some fuel.

Did he dream? Of course he did. He dreamed many dreams as he slept through the ages. His body drifted, floating through the wreckage aimlessly. Occasionally he would bump or bounce into the bulkhead--or in the floating debris within it. His limbs hung from his body without a motion.

What did he dream? Of life. War. Hope and the Future. Of hope and the Past. He dreamed of worlds he had seen before, and things he was yet to do. There was a life to be lived outside of this rotting husk and the corroding hull he was trapped in. The bits of his armor were now mostly gone, only a few bits of metal clung to him. His exposed flesh had turned grey and withered from exposure to the cold, frost had formed on him and on the hull around him.

Sleep. Sleep eternal it seemed.

Then there was a stirring. The sound of clanking a the ship docked with another. The sound of an awakening. The Prosecutor stirred slightly, his red eyes opening. What manner of matter was this?

Coming out of hyperspace more like being ripped right out of it. That spilling her cup of spice tea all over her front. Beat a monkey Uncle bloody what the Hutt green ass is going on. Her eyes glared at one of her men that only had that blink look of not knowing himself. Even so it only was a few minutes before she spoke again. What the hell are you waiting of go find out from, from our pilot, like 5 second go.

Knowing to keep the boss happy he quickly moved finding out and telling her as she made her way up to the front, after dropping by her quarters to change. Even then the man was there ready to make a report. This brought a smirk to her lips, maybe just maybe there was some kind of money to be made from the ship that look to have seen its better days.

Even then she got a report about a life form flowing outside it seem to still have a little life left. As they all was scared to make the move to do what should be a no brainier. Well, move your ass and get him aborted.

As the men went to work to retrieve [member="Prosecutor"], also a report about another ship just docked, to the ship. Taking a look at the side of the ship could tell that it wouldn't have caused all this damage maybe they was here for the treasures that could be found aboard. Send a message to the other ship, and ask what they propose is here.

Unknown ship this is the Sweet Pea, what is your business with the ship. [member="Lady Kay"]
