Ardgal Raxis
More than a Man
Bombs. The blasts and damage rocked the cruiser to the core. It was a massive space battle as both of the vessels battered each other like two massive Kryat Dragons locked in a bloody war. Trails of atmosphere and bits of hulls leaked into space like blood of two massive monsters.
At the command of one stood a silent armored figure. His aura and persona filled the room with command and calm, despite their heavy losses.
"Concentrate all fire on their starboard engines," he ordered, his voice sounding mechanical and synthetic.
"Yes sir," chirped one of the officers on deck.
A volley of massive turbolaser fire surged at the enemy. The power crushed through the armor and shattered the engine, a massive explosion blossomed from the assault.
"Direct hit, sir, the ship is undergoing rapid system failure."
"Sir, their vector course is angled towards us," another officer screamed terrified. "Impact in three minutes.
The armored figure at the control waisted no time. "Begin evacuations. I shall initiate the sequence from here. May the Force be with you."
"Yes, Bishop, of course."
He stood watching as the last escape pod fled away from the doomed craft. The enemy vessel filled the viewport and the figure watched stoicly. He did not flinch. He did not cower. Not as the two made contact. Not as the durasteel gave way like paper. Not as the flames rushed up the bulk head and filled the bridge. Not even as the flames licked away at his body in massive aggony, not even as he finally succumbed to unconsciousness and began to float in the coffin like metal husk for hundreds of years.
