MEETING

dsfsfhjdsjhf5.jpg

Location
: Illyria, Jassin City Royal Manse, Meeting Room overlooking the gardens
It was a bit of a fitting location for this meeting. The City of Jassin had suffered a great deal since the beginning of the Illyrian Dark Ages. World trade had been something that defined the planet before the line of kings led it to ruin. The former world trade center of Jassin City, which would one day serve as the Intergalactic Shipping Center for Illyria, was actually an impressive formation of buildings. Illyrian architecture flourished in the city that prized a classical-gothic approach.

"I believe this city may one day rival Azurine for beauty." The King of Illyria remarked as his eyes danced over the railing of the meeting room, looming down past the gardens and into the streets below. They were sparse, rarely traveled except by the occasional citizen moving from one place to another. There were provinces run by Magnate's which held a higher population than Jassin's fledging thousands. There were some frustrations which came with the crown. Although Azurine City was a thriving hub and the Royal Army continued to improve itself there was still a large portion of the world trapped in a rather mundane lifestyle which would take years to adjust. However, the sooner they could solve the problems of infrastructure the better equipped they would be to raise their people to new heights.

"It is a considerable thing isn't it?" He spoke to his Queen, Alessandra Creed Alessandra Creed with an intrigued voice as his hands braced across the railing before him. "What we've done here." He brought his hand to his chin, stroking it thoughtfully while chuckling out. "Still, there is far more to do than what has been completed. We've barely even scratched a surface on the foundation of our vision." He said, turning to Alessandra and holding a hand out to his Queen. "But with you by my side there will never be a question of whether or not it can be done. It is merely a matter of time." He said with a soft tone of honey and silver.

Today the King was dressed in more regal, classical attire. Silk hugged his body perfectly in thick threads of ebony and gold. The patterns that were intricately woven into his outfit created wonderfully balanced designs. His amethyst eyes gazed at Alessandra in a silent moment of appreciation for the woman who stood by his side. He leaned forward, pressing his lips to the soft skin of her cheek before whispering softly to her. "Let us continue to rise, together." He said. Of course it was no sooner than he'd said those words that one of the members of his Royal Guard stepped into the garden. "Mon roi, ma reine. Votre invité est arrivé." My King, My Queen. Your guest has arrived.

It were these few spare moments alone with his wife, and child when they were around the youngest of the family, that allowed Adron to retain his sanity. Yet, with the requirements of the Crown it seemed they were becoming more and more sparse. Something he'd need to rectify. Life was too short and too long to spend such time away from those who placed the breath within his chest. "Have him escorted in. Have the kitchens prepare a fine bottle of wine and something to indulge in. Surprise us." He commanded, causing the armored Knight to bow his head in silent respect to his King's wishes.

For Mr. Vislor Elatar the trip to Illyria's surface had been no simple one. It takes nearly a week for most people to pass through the Illyrian in-processing center at
L'enfer however as a guest to the King and Queen Vislor's in-processing should not have taken taken longer than a day. When it was finally completed he was escorted to a private shuttle with a number of luxuries of taste and sound for him to enjoy. Still, he was escorted by two of Illyria's peace officers the entire time. Not quite at gun point, but the men took careful care of the businessman and made sure he remained within their eyesight at all times. Now, he was presented to the Royal Manse where for the final time he was searched before taken by one of the members of the Royal Guard and escorted through the newly refurbished halls of the manse.

A member of the Guard approached Vislor, gesturing down the main hall of the spine as he led him to the meeting room held above the gardens. The double door's to the room were made of a fine golden material, which translucent designs sprawled over the door allowing for some sight into the room. The doors were opened by the member of the guard and he spoke out as he held a hand towards the table in the center of the room. "Mr. Vislor Elatar." He announced.

Adron had been expecting the announcement and almost immediately waved a hand at his guardsmen to dismiss him. Again the armored man turned out of the room with a silent nod of confirmation leaving the King to greet his guest. "Mr. Elatar, welcome to Illyria. I am King Adron Malvern and this is my beautiful Queen, Alessandra." He offered a graceful hand to display his wife before nodding his head towards the table before them. "Have a seat sir. There is much to be discussed."

Illyria, it was a world he had heard tale of but as of yet had never visited, as he was lead through the corridors of the manse, he allowed his eyes to wander and take in the details. As much as the city outside one could learn much about a person just by paying attention to detail, it was the truth of business no matter who you are dealing with information was key, it was a currency to negotiate with, he allowed his mind to run through various different thoughts as he followed behind the guards taking him to visit the King Adron Malvern Adron Malvern
The guard had motioned him to wait as he pushed open the door and announced him, and at once he followed him through the doorway and watched as the guard was dismissed, before turning his attention back to the one who he was here to meet, if he were lucky there could be many opportunities here.
“Your Highness. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, and yours as well your highness” he gave a gentle nod to both the King and his wife before walking toward the table, manners were a thing even if royalty were new to him, he waited for Alessandra Creed Alessandra Creed to sit before taking his own seat with them both at the table. “I am looking forward to how my company can be of assistance to Illyria, and I thank you for the invitation”

When the businessman showed himself, Adron took his own seat across from the man. No sooner than the King took his seat did the doors to the meeting room open and a small staff made their way in. One of the servers carried a fine bottle of wine sunken into a bottle of ice that was carried on a silver tray. A table was set up beside them where the servers could arrange a number of refreshments for the meeting. There were a number of meats, cheeses, crackers, and other savoury delicacies that could be enjoyed. The wine was opened to reveal a nice, sweet red that paired well with the refreshments. For the businessman, a fine glass of the wine was poured and a small plate was prepared for all in attendance.

The King looked to the man before him with a clear-cut expression.

"Mr. Elatar I brought you here because I believe your Company could be of great use to Illyria. As we spoke briefly through Holo, there are a number of fields where my planet is in need of stimulant. That is where you will come in." He explained to the man. The King took hold of a datapad that rested on the table. "We have a particular need in education. Not primary or advanced, mind you but more technical education." He passed the dataapd over to the man before clearing his throat.

"There is a list of technical occupations. Engineers, Supply specialists, Shipwrights, technicians, mechanics, and nearly one hundred other positions of a similar nature. We're looking to bring a Company such as yours onto a contract for a minimum of one year. This contract will require that you train, per quarter, a prearranged number of candidates in these fields." The datapad was outfitted with more information, however the King was content to allow the man to peruse it at his own pace. Adron took hold of his glass of wine, downing a bit of the crimson liquid, relishing the dry pull that came with it. He set the glass back down on the table before exhaling.

"So what I need to know is what you can offer. Funding is no object, however I would need assurances that the results will be...substantial." He explained to the man.
