A little about Dreadstar.

Dread star was Retrofitted to be a Multipurpose warship for RC's Pirate crew. It is also intended to serve as a troop transport, and warship during Mandalorian operations. The addittion of the Nuclear reactor gives extra energy to power the ion cannons and faster sublight engines. The standar reactor runs the ships normal operations, shields, power to engines and systems.
Extra power from the second reactor while not in use for Ions Cannons goes to engines.
The Strengths of the Dreadstar are its speed and Firepower. It can fly fast into combat and drop a devastating payload. Also the addition of two nuclear warheads provides an extra powerful punch. In addition troops can be dropped directly into planetary combat via the drop pods
The weaknessess of the Dreadstar is that the weapons it carries beside the Ion cannons are non replenishable in combat. There is alimited time that it can fight without relying completely on Ion cannons alone.
The dreadstars troop capacity is also less as sections had to be scrapped for space for the second reactor.
Pointlasers were also Reduced and turbolasers scrapped making its defense against starfighters weaker. It has to rely on its own fighter to protect it from small craft.

Description: Following his capture by the newly minted Empire RC was held in stasis for many years in the old Venator Menace. During this time the Menace was called to hunt down other disobedient and hiding Clone troopers durring th after shock of order sixty six. When the ship was attacked and crashed by pirates RC was left uncathed. Upon being awaoken by prsopectors the Ex ARC trooper killed them and made of with their craft.
Later RC was initated into a band of pirates. Having a sharp photographic clone memory RC retraced his steps from planet to planet until finally arriving on Yavin. As he and his captain searched the surface they encountered the wreckage of the Menace and RC explained that thiswas the ship that had held him and countless other clones prisoner.
The pirate captain then ordered his crew to unearth the wreckage and over many months they hunted down an aqquired scattered componants of the vessel over the planets surface. Unable to completely repair the reactor they were forced to scuttle one of their own rudimentary frigates and construct a crude secondary reactor. As RC labored through flashbacks and pain constructing the ship piece by piece his captains crew grew more mutinous.
With some setbacks Menace was repaired and RC determined to revamp the beast brought it to the Hutts who for a fee financed his retrofitt. As it limped on into space RC's captain was killed and many crew defected. The remaining crew split with the menace and the followers were dubbed RCs raiders. After many more raids RC's raiders were able to finally successfully complete the last modifcations and overhaul the
Hull of the Menace. RC painted it yellow with red warstripes and redubbed it the Dreadstar.

The more research I did into the Errant Venture and similar ships, and the more closely I looked at how much you had downgraded your vessel from an old Venator-class's stats, the less concerned I got about one established character having a single capital-scale pirate ship. You've clearly considered several relevant precedents and done your homework.

However, for a 'hero unit', a very special ship, I'd want to see something even more substantial in the description. I want to know something about the ship's history and acquisition -- for example, how it was rediscovered, rebuilt or salvaged. By our timeline, Venator-class vessels were first built almost a thousand years ago, roughly speaking. Plenty of people RP with vessels that have somehow survived or been duplicated, but when it comes to capital ships, we need to be a bit more rigorous.
 
Is it acceptable to say that it was found on Yavin where RC had woken up from his long cryo sleep. With the help of the Pirate crew that had taken RC initially they returned to the place where he had been awoken and discovered the ship mostly intact but needing new reactor parts.
Should I RP it into existance or write in something more elaboarate to explain its existance?

It's an acceptable backstory, yes. Flesh it out into a couple of paragraphs and put it in the first post of the application under 'Description', and I'll approve this.
