First Reply The Dog that Bites

The space station between the larger systems had been little more than a trap for Julz. Her loathing of being off the ground making the captain of the little freighter stop their flight between systems with a disappointed grunt. His attitude changing quickly when she'd pinned him against the bulkhead for trying to give her a piece of his mind. Barely paying attention what planet or station she had ended up in

The feeling of flight always unsettling for her stomach as she had fethed off to get something to eat before returning to find the freighter captain gone.

Marking his name down in her memory as she watched the ships come and go, staring at each captain that set foot in the hangar for someone that she could maybe sneak onto. Or convince to get her back to a regular planet with dirt under her paws to feel. The circulating air always stank, and it didn't help that most of the beings around her smelled like they'd sworn off showers.

"Stupid ships. Stupid captains. You're already headed to a planet. Why do I gotta pay to go somewhere you're already going?" Gnashing her teeth at the failed attempt at negotiation, sipping on the drink she'd snagged from the caf.

The security aboard the station had either finally taken notice of her, or had finally decided to begin keeping an eye on her. Letting her nails bite into the wall as she passed along the corridor inward, leaving a trail of sparks and gouges behind her. Maybe there was something fun to do while she figured out where to go. They usually had some little sleemo skulking about the station with bigger dreams than they could accomplish.

She just had to find them.

Eyes stared at her as she continued to gouge the walls in random places, letting herself get a little joy at the feeling. Snarling at a passerby that had stopped to open their mouth after giving her a sharp word to catch her attention.

Aiden drew in a deep breath after finally getting out of his shuttle. While comfortable, he had never really liked being in a ship for too long. It's why he had joined the Marines, and not become a pilot like some of his childhood friends had. The station he had found himself on was at least spacious enough for him to not feel like he was going to be kissing his knees again, and would hopefully offer what he was searching for.

The shops out here supposedly had just about anything, and he wanted to surprise Briana with a little gift before coming back home from military service.

Through, as Aiden began to wander the hallways, he noticed something strange. Large claw marks had been left along some of the walls, yet he saw no signs of battle. No bodies, no blaster fire that had struck the walls, and there weren't any loud alarms about some kind of attack or hostile intruder either.

"What the fuck..."

She loomed over the little humanoid that shrank away before a whole crowd seemed to gather at the sight.

"MOVE ON! Nothing to see here." Quite literally barking at the gathering crowd, letting her claws open wide and preparing to swipe at them. The glint from them in the light the only warning they got as they began to filter around her. A wide berth given to the wolf as she snarled and hunched over, even more irritable now as she began to let her toe claws dig into the metal plating.

Each step an announcement as she moved on.

A fresh scent on the air, something irrationally irritating that seemed to creep up from behind her got the short fur around her tunic to rise. A faint scent of blaster gas and something else that overpowered the stench around her. Silvery eyes scanning as she paused in the junction of four hallways.

She wasn't sure if her little display had already got security to follow her, or if the local sleemo had finally come out of whatever little hidey-hole they called home. Shoulders rolled as more stared while they passed. Her teeth bared in a silent snarl as she slowly sniffed and prowled.
