Alli had to admit the fact was, the senate was in no shape due to certain events to host anyone. So she had offered her personal office in one of the many high rises of Courscuant. It was a nice day, her office here was usually used by lobbyist's. A company needed them, but she had a large suite here. It was her part of it, luxury of course was spared no expense. She worked hard and thus wouldn't allow for a lack of what she deserved. Before her was a lunch of the most esqusite kind. She smirked as the man she was meeting with was let in. " About time, and here I thought you stood me up."

Chancellor Harkness.... didn't have the same ring as Captain but was better then just senator. He could admit to a few things at the least. One of those being he really liked the new coat and breathed in deeply while he walked flanked by on request two senate guards. He didn't fear the people of the Republic he just knew it would be better to have some protection he supposed and meeting here with of all people Alli Wren well that was just icing on a very nice cake. He offered a smile to the people who let him in the guards waiting but listing for the small personal security beacon. His face was all a grin when he heard the red heads voice and was let in. "Well when a beautiful woman asks me to dinner how can I refuse? Miss Wren Chancellor Jack Harkness."

Alli smiled at his flattery. " Hmm I hope you had no problem finding the place, I hoped that was the case. Well I have the finest cuisine, it is a rather rare type of steak from some obscure mammal that I am told is to die for, so I figured we better have some tonight. I also assumed that a dinner was better any day over a boring meeting in a stuffy office. I would know my day is full of such meetings. But enough. How are you liking your job? I lobbied for you I hope you know. "
She smiled and gestured him towards the elegant setting. She hoped that he enjoyed it. She had gone to a lot of trouble for it all after all.

"Well now that sounds delicious and thank you for the support. It isn't everyday someone I haven't met before is for me to win I'll have to remember that in the future." How was he liking the job? He pondered the question for a moment and did have to agree that he didn't dislike it. There was more pressure to act and more questions, decisions to make but overall for now at least he was feeling good about it. Give it a month and he might have a different tune of course but that was later and now well now he was having a rare cut of meat with a woman who was known for many things. All of them good compared to the company she has been known to keep. "The job so far hasn't been to bad but it is only the first week, soon it will be all about the harder decision. Which is why I came here to meet with you of course. There is much to be said of you Miss Wren some of it good no fantastic but some colorful."

" Oh yes, I am sure you could write a book about me, I have been up to much. But that is why we here aren't we. I am sure you got my resume. " She said with a smle as she took a seductive cut and bite of her steak. She like to tease those she had for dinner. " I think you will find I have more than enough qualifications when it comes to the job. " She said wondering what he had to say. " So what are your concerns, thoughts, questions. I know you have them. Then I will ask you my questions and we can call this an official interview. "
Alli ate another piece of steak, making sure to do it slowly and as seductively as possible.

He raised an eyebrow to the admittance and had to agree that he had questions but that was more fo the fun. His fingers danced holding the knife as he cut a piece of the meat and took a bite. He chewed it and savored the taste of it... She was right he had to admit it was quite a delicious piece. "Yes I have a few questions, the first and foremost is where do your priorities lay Miss Wren? Your resume was good and you have shown many things but your continued work, proximity to the Confederacy and history of being married to a criminal on the Republics most wanted list. All of those are the main questions of the night. I don't need all the details of your love life but I also can't have my people associating with criminals."

"Well you know, I have nothing to do with her. Weill I admit at one point I was in love with her, yes I was. But that is neither here or there. Hell you want her, I will lay a trap, she would probably fall for it. The thing is, that I no longer associate myself With Criminals, and the first time I met her when she was first a criminal was the day I turned her in to the Omega Pyre. I of course, only have ever been with the Confederacy as a representative of my company. Just how I have lobbyist here I was my own lobbyist in the CIS. I have always had no mistress when it comes to factions. I am ready to at least personally choose a side. My company will always sell to everyone. but You can always count on me to look for the Republic's continued success and future. I think we have a bright future. Plus I tire of games. I am here to offer my loyalty and services to the Galactic Republic. If I wasn't on your side, well you should of never come to my office. I would of had you dead at least 3 different ways by now. So anything else?"
She asked as she continued to eat.

He listened and each of his questions was answered. The idea she could have killed him and the revelation well brought a grin to his face as he looked up at her. "Well being here with you might be worth it." He cut another piece and took a bite thinking about what she said and smiled. "Well then I think all of my questions are done, kind of. You answered all of it but this position requires some skills, it requires some tactful abilities. Perhaps late nights in the office or weeks on end, to send people out knowing they might not come back. Are you going to be able to handle that Miss Wren?"

"Mr Harkness, I have no problem working to get stuff done. I only apply for this job because I am in a position to do so. I run Baktoid Industrial Systems. It is one of the largest companies in the world. I have done things I haven't been proud of but I am willing to offer up a secret. A secret that is rather old. But one none the less. I once made thousands of tanks identical to the republics for someone. I have done my research. He wasn't the jedi I was told he was. They had a robotic control system that let the owner take control of them. I can do it. I just need the chance. I understand it is risky giving me the job. I hardly have a history with the republic but I want this job and am willing to do whatever it takes to get it. "

"The type of person for this job or any job in intelligence is the unexpected. I believe you and would only have to sell it to the rest of my staff. If no one else comes along and applies I don't see you failing to have the job and this secret is welcome. Now come on lets finish our dinner and I think some music is in order, it wouldn't be an evening without dancing to music while the skyline of Coruscant hangs in the background." He gave a smirk and thought about how he could sell and or convince his people this was a good choice. He would have to sleep on that after this meal and welcoming a new citizen of the Republic.

"Music, I didn't take you as the dancing type. " She said as she ate some more, it was very good. She would have to make sure that this rare meat became a investment and made not so rare. " what sort of music do you desire Chancellor? " She asked with a smirk. It was't every day one got to dance with the chancellor of the republic. She would have to mark that down as an accomplishment. Alli smiled at him, curious what he was thinking about at the moment. She also wondered if she could really get this job.

He kept his smile at the thought of dancing with her and when it came to music well. "Oh I enjoy all kinds, but the slow build up that comes to a crashing crescendo while you and a partner move. Oh so much grace and fiery can be seen, or when your under the moonlight. Oh it is wonderful, don't you dance Miss Wren?" He finished the prime cut and wiped at his mouth with a napkin while offering a hand. "To the Republics newest citizen and one of its finest Intelligence leaders. The paperwork will have to go through and there might be some fuss but so far no one else has been wanting the job and your unique perspective might just be the breathe of fresh air we need."

"hmm I do indeed dance." Alli got up taking his hand and place her hands in the correct place. " Not many are bold enough to ask me to dance. It is refreshing." she said as she began the dance to the music that was playing. " So now that I am a citizen does that come with any perks?" She asked with a smile as she enjoyed the dance. It wasn't often she danced with a man. After all she usually found her self with women. " So that sounds like you are aweful sure I might get this job. Of course officially I am always and only the CEO of Baktoid Industrial Systems. She said, lletting her body get really close to the man, making sure there was no space to spare.

He moved with her and perks? The perks of being a Republic citizen beyond the joys of democracy and freedom? The joys of some of the finest food, most tantalizingly beautiful women and men. Wonders to satisfy both the scintillating and perverse desires of a person. Oh he could give her the spiel but it was so much better to show it. "Well you are very qualified, ambition isn't something you lack and best of all." He dipped while going more outside and looking up. "As for perks oh there are many wonders and beautiful things on Coruscant you can find. As a citizen of course you get to enjoy it all and the men or women, or alien whatever your heart desires, whatever your body craves can be yours. No price needed just some wonderful seductive charms. Of which you have plenty I must say."

Alli blushed. " You flatter me. I must say you are great on your feet, and well aren't half bad your self. So if I get the job who would I report to?" She asked curious about the position. She really didn't know the hierarchy that well. Plus she could file it away as useful things to know. Alli smiled as she danced with the chancellor of the republic. It wasn't often one could say they danced with the chancellor of the republic.

He kept moving enjoying the compliment and spoke letting the smile remain. "You would report to Me of course, the vice chancellor and maybe one or two others. In truth you would be equal with the supreme commander Cody Jorin for authority and rank. All the perks of being in charge of a section of this fine Republic. Oh I do hope your skills are up to the challenge. Your status as skilled in business and the like at great, your knowledge extensive and now we are offering you a chance to have some of the best intelligence agents reporting to you. Hopefully you don't use it to learn what color underwear Hanna wears."

"Well if you want to know, I would be duty bound to find out. ' She said with a smile as she twirled him, instead of being twirled. Alli smiled. " I will need a nice alias. Something to give me an air of mystery. Also it would be what I am known as by the public. For I can' openly be Director, or I would find my self dead within the day. I think we both can agree that intellegence is a deadly game. "

Yes it could be and he enjoyed the idea of being twirled, she had plenty of skills as she spoke. He was more the willing to see and learn things about his people but... He was sure Hanna was like him... Commando if nothing else well he was certain in working together he would find out. These two women and hi vice were bound to learn everything about him after all, he had less need to hide anything and was open to all information sharing. "I think an Alias for you might be a good idea, though hiding that fiery red hair and wonderful body will be hard for the ones who know you or have seen your business. Though I am certain Miss Wren with a little creative information doing we can make sure you have everything you need." Harkness smiled while keeping the dance going but wondering more. "So what kind of name would you like? Anything in the galaxy."

"Hmm I will have to think but it is easy enough, reallly, because you see, I will not be seen with any of you. I will be the completely unrelated Alli Wren, CEO of Baktoid. However your Director of Intellegence who no one ever sees in perosn will indeed have quite the life. I think we both know that my application better find its way destroyed completley, not even an eletronic trace. I will distance myself publicy if you hire me. We need to make sure that I seem to not favor anyone. However you will be sure to count on me, and I will meet via my alter ego wheneever you want. I just have to create this new person. Hmm I just don't know what to name my new me. " She said dancing with him still, he was quite good. She giggled as she twirled with him. He was very entertaining.

"That sounds fair, distancing yourself from being around all of us, away from me would be the better play though your alter ego will have to be something. It will be very hard to hide those looks and you must tell me who does your hair cause I want tips." He finished and stood there while the song came to an end offering a grin while he went back inside. "Though your resume will be gone, the only knowledge of who you are in my head. Every measure will be taken to make sure you are hidden." Harkness patted his coat while he took out a datapad and tapped a few things. "Alright there we go, the files are deleted and just have to make sure it is scrubbed so no hackers will find it."
