The Destruction of Precious Information

"The main security system is a small force of battle droids. TA1, TA2, TA4 and ACS-302 droids will be present inside the facility and will be connected to the central hub, this includes the CCTV, which I also have control of. So if I can see you, the droids can." The ships would then begin a deep dive to the planets surface, the autopilot soon altered the entry angle as it prepared to land. "This system was designed to hold off a small army, so have fun."

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Jak stepped up. "Not an issue," he said. "This suit has better than state-of-the-art equipment. Trust me when I say this: You won't see me."

Turning to everyone, but not turning his back on the holo, he started, "Alright, so... I don't think I can get in to the main computer... but if one or two of you can tell me when the guards are approaching me, I should be able to get to a secondary uplink. I won't have full control till I can get to the hub." He tossed Growl a small chip. "Plug that into the computer, and once I hook up to an exterior cam, you should have access to the CCTV as well. Watch me on the cams, keep an eye out for droids moving in on my position, and then when I'm secure, I'll guide you all in."

"Once you've blown the concrete and gotten to the hub, I'll patch in, while you guys go set the explosives. Try to keep it quiet... When we're done, I'll go get us some speeder bikes. There's a depot nearby; shouldn't be difficult to get five. Oh... and we may want to blow up this ship too."

"Sounds like a plan. I would prefer it if this ship wasn't tracked back to me."

The large freighter's engines began to reduce the thrust output as it neared the ground. The designated landing zone was a clearing within one of the thick forests which could be found by the facility. This cover from the trees would conceal the ship from any passing One Sith. Once the landing gear made contact with the ground the loading bay ramp dropped, allowing the group to exit.

The voice that had originally been heard around the ship could now be heard in the helmets and comm systems of each of the mercenaries. "I've patched into your communication system to ensure constant contact between us. The mission is a go, do you thing Jak."

Upon approaching the facility, it would be noticed that the outside had been reclaimed by nature. The once pristine white finish of the buildings exterior was now stained a pale green from moss and fungi. Surrounding the entirety of the complex was a chain fence which at one point would've electrocuted any intruders, it was to high to climb and there seemed to be no gaps in its coverage. Luckily for the demolition team, the equally high gateway inside the complex had been broken open and vandalised. It was likely that whoever did this was unable to survive what remained inside the structure. From the outside it was dead. Nothing moved and nothing dared break the silence. Undoubtedly, this would change soon.

Dal listened to the plan, but there was something he didn't understand. "Why not just use this ship to leave?" He asked. Rubble would only leave back the possibility of something leading back to them. The Navicomputer, maybe, or some force thing or another could maybe trace it. He wasn't sure. He didn't get how the Force worked. Still, as they continued to their destination, he opened one of the cases. Feeling through it until he felt the false panel, he smiled. Pulling it up and spilling some of the stimpacs out and onto the floor, he pulled out the old, beaten battle armor inside. Setting it onto the floor piece by piece, he pulled the belt and bandoleer out as well, followed by a blaster rifle that for all he knew was as old as he was. Leaning it on the crate, he donned the armor, strapping the bandoleer and belt on over it and picking up the rifle as the ship touched the ground.

As he approached the facility, he studied the security, or lack thereof, from outside the gate. He almost expected something to go off, but there seemed to be no proximity alarms. "How long has this place been abandoned?" he wondered aloud, the words hissed under his breath. Pulling up the rifle, he scanned with the thermal scope, and then flipped through the spectrum. The only piece that his dad had spent money on, the scope was good, perhaps even great, but it wasn't the best on market. No bounty hunter who had to pay his dividends to the Hutts could. Still, he thought he saw something.

"I think we've got a pair of outside turrets mounted to the roof. Anyone else see them?" he sent in comms to the rest of the team. He hoped he was seeing things. Fracking paranoid businessmen.

Sonic Pistol
Thermal detonators X2
Ion Grenades X3
Jump Pack
Beskar'gam
Beskad
Wrist Rockets x 5
Datapad
Scomp Link
Ammunition
Arcwelder
Fusion Cutter
Comm link
After she had gotten her equipment from the crate she then stepped out onto the boarding ramp, and outside. Her droid commented on the overgrown nature of the building.
"I agree, if he was so worried about this data, why has this building been here so long" She said to the droid.
She stepped out and observed the area. She switched through her hud's viewmodes, and saw no heat signatures, nothing active there at all... yet.
She then heard over the commlink it was the dev, she zommed in with he visor, and saw the turrents.
"Yep those are turrets alright" She said

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Over the intercom, Jak spoke up. "There are two more hidden ones by the entrance, and three hidden ones spaced out evenly around the compound. I don't think they'll attack unless provoked... but all the same, don't get near them just yet."

A heat haze seemed to scuttle across the ground to the wall of the compound, and when Jak spoke again, he was breathing a little heavier. "I'm going to slice my way in. Keep an eye out for droids or unusual movement."

Standing up next to the entryway, he straightened his arm and the scomp-link built into the suit shot out into the door port. Only a few seconds later and the door opened, and shut. "I'm in."

"You're right, they won't attack... at all. All outside defences have been disabled, including the radar; it would be helpful if you could re-activate that as well." The voice of Green informed the mercenaries. Activating the radar system would allow them to gain the advantage on any One Sith that may approach during the mission. It was unlikely that the One Sith would even show up until the actual detonation, but when dealing with the Sith anything was possible.

Jak, upon entering the facility would be met with a very large, minimally decorated hub. All that was present in the room was a main desk, a couple of knocked down sofas and a various shut down holoprojectors. When he entered, the building's movement detection system would instantly be aware of his presence. However, the AI of the building would not be capable of seeing through his armour's active camouflage. In response to the detection, 5 TA1 Battle Droids would be sent to the area to ensure of no intruders. Jak, and anybody else inside would have 60 seconds to clear the room before the droids would be on top of them.

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Jak's HUD flashed red, and he looked up, startled. And then shook his head. Rookie mistake; he should've taken out the sensors. Duh. And now he had droids on him.

Getting to the computer, he put an e-worm into the system, letting it hack past all the firewalls and security surreptitiously. Wrapping a liquid cable around his wrist, Jak leapt and mag-sealed himself to the ceiling. He wasn't aware of anyone behind him... but then again, he wasn't looking. If someone else was there, they'd have to fend for themselves.

Activating the solo mute, he turned on his camo-suit to full power, his already blurry form completely disappearing from view, into the ceiling. Within the camo, his chin crawled up his face, while his skin went completely green. Heat left his body, and his breathing stopped the second his makeshift mask fastened over his nose.

With any luck, the lack of both electronic activity, and heat activity, would be enough to fool the droids - just long enough to slip a remote grenade under an arm plate.

Kalyn moved into the complex. Her droid would be fairly inconspicuous in the area, bar he had the right security codes, luckily the turrets were wired into said security system, not luckily, they were in the complex. Kalyn moved in, walking calmly, and then using he jump jets, and a bit of climbing, she was on the top of the building where the turrets were, she had to move fast, so she plugged into the computer terminal on the turrets, at one point they might have been occasionally modified with new parameters, but now they were just another security vulnerability. She plugged the scomp link into the turrets maintenance port. and then pulled up her data pad, the aging software had quite a few security vulnerabilities, and after a few minutes, she had added her droid to the security register, he could now roam freely through the facility, without risk of getting blasted, though for the living people, it wasn't so easy, in fact it was impossible, at least with her skill set, so the people would, on sight be blasted, luckily they were all heavily armed. While Kalyn was not a master slicer, she could get the job done. She then went to the roof acsess door, which was kindly unlocked by whoever was here last, so she just walked in.
"Im entering the building, R7 your free to roam, dont expect to get blasted. Im entering through the roof access door" She said to the team over the comm link.

Casca made sure that her twin blasters were in their correct places adn that she had enough grenades for her taste before running down the ramp. She didn't say anything the whole time until they started out into the complex.

"Let's blow this fething building to bits." Casca stepped inside to be greeted by almost immediate gunfire from two security droids. Ducking behind one of the overturned sofas, she sworeas she began to return fire at the buggers

"Chit! I thought you said the security was disabled, Green!" Decapitating one droid, Casca leapt to a new cover, as the first one was practically shot to bits. It didn't take long to destroy the second droid and the blaster fire ended, for now. She kept moving, now more wary of her surroundings. She spoke to the rest of the crew now, checking her surroundings for anyone else.

"This place gives me the creeps, I can't wait to blow it up. How are y'all doin'?"

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Oh for feth's sakes," Jak swore, dropping off the ceiling onto another droid, crumpling it. "So much for stealth."

The final two droids exploded into shiny metal pieces, the barrels of both Jak's pistols smoking. "Come on, then, Casca. You get to guard me while I hack."

Rapidly typing in a series of commands, he let his cloak fall, little caring about his now-very-green complexion. Old mechanisms whirred to life, and further programming ensured that they would never activate again. This place had very little power; what scraps of it there were needed to be conserved.

"Alright, I see you up there," he murmured, swinging the turret in a wave to the woman on the roof. Following her droid's progress, he unlocked the necessary doors, all the while struggling with the system's AI for control of the facility.

"The exterior defences have been disabled, not the inside droid security." The voice would inform Casey. "And good job with those turrets Jak. They're fully automated and will fire at anything movie when the manual control is released so until you programme yourselves as VIPs, don't get in their ways." This group was doing good so far, but they shouldn't relax. This was only just getting started.

Just out of view from the cameras, Green could hear something large approaching. Every few seconds a cumbersome footstep could be heard echoing round the facility, straining the floor as it stepped. "Something large is approaching. I'd get out of their ASAP. Make your way to the R&D department, that's where you'll want to start the demolition. Down the left corridor, quick! I'll give you more information when necessary."

Kalyn, who had just descended from the roof would find herself in a plain white corridor. Upon inspection she would realise that all the door were locked, if broken into, all that would be inside were desks and various electronics. Nothing useful to her or the mission. It would seem like the only way for her to continue would be the elevator at the far side of the corridor. "The facility is running on reserve power, which doesn't support the elevators... Looks like you'll have to climb your way down. And make it quick, no doubt that droids are already on their way up to you."

Growl would come down the ramp of the ship putting on his helmet with all of his gear attached to him.He would walk a decent distance from everyone else roughly 30 meters and say over his comm-link "Well when you guys need someone to blow something up let me know.....i'll be covering myself in the flora so that if someone shows up I can stay hidden and give a heads up".As Growl approached the building he heard blaster fire and thought to himself "Haha well there goes stealth!".Growl would lay down covering himself and his armor in dirt and mud in an attempt to keep hidden and keep his body temperature as low as possible without getting hypothermia so that he would somewhat hidden from thermal.Growl was relatively close to where the group had entered so if he needed help or if the others needed help a response would be pretty quick.

Kalyn walked down the stairs into a white corridor, she tried to open the office doors, but they were locked, she saw an elevator door at the end of the hallway. Kalyn knew she could not force the elevator open, so she pulled out her fusion cutter, and began cutting grouugh the elevator door, she knew she had to be fast, so she moved quickly, she was about 3/4 the way done when two ta1 droids came through the stairs at the back of the room, she drew her ion blaster, and blasted the two droids, she was done with them before they even got a shot off.
"Hey does anyone minds getting these droids off me, im trying to cut through an elevator door here, also Green do you know what floor R&D is on?" She said going back to cutting through the door.

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Aaaagh." Jak slammed his fists into the desk in frustration. "I need to get into the main hub. It's blocked off from here." Looking up, he sighed. "Alright, I need an escort... preferably someone with a large explosive."

Meanwhile, he packed up his hacking equipment, and pulled out a few grenades. "Anyone?"

Growl would say over comm-link "I'll take you...its getting boring out here anyway,I need something to kill".Growl would stand up and begin walking inside towards Jak's position whistling a soft tune with gun in hand.As Growl arrived he would look at [member="Jak Sandrow"] confused with all the hacking equipment and say "Lead the way boss".

"Yes I would. R&D is located on the ground floor. It makes up the majority of this building complex. The room stretched from bottom floor to top floor in terms of height, walk South long enough and you'll eventually run into it." It would've been much more of a help if a layout of the facility could be sent to the mercenary's HUD.. oh wait, that could definitely be done. With various technology geniuses at his finger tips, Green began to wire the maps to each of the group members. "Use the map that has been sent to you for reference."

"A really large explosive..." Was all Green would add to Jak's request for someone with a "large explosive."

Meanwhile, it was becoming increasingly apparent that what was approaching was massive in size, weight and firepower.

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
His green complexion no longer a secret, Jak sighed and released, letting his skin go completely plant-like, and the Force expanding around him like a shield. "Better," he grinned. "Alright, so... let's go." Drawing his pistols, he led the way, tearing through the doors with his suit, like they were candy wrappers. "When we get to the hub, slice a hole in the wall with whatever you've got- thermite works best, I think. Then cover me while I hack into it."

His pistol seemed to whip to the side of its own accord, and a droid, charging down the hallway towards them, exploded into tinkling metal shards.

Casca pulled out two explosives, one of which was a thermite grenade she had concocted herself.

"I'm coming too." Casca tore after Jak, helping destroy any other droids that got near the trio. When they got to the wall she pulled the first grenade's pin and rolled it at the wall and bracing for the explosion, though it only made a dent. The nextt one she oulled out was the thermite grenade.

"You guys might want to stand back for this one."
