Private The desolation of man [Ronin]

I can move mountains
I can work a miracle, work a miracle
Ooh, oh, oh, I'll keep you like an oath
May nothing but death do us part

She wants to dance like Uma Thurman
Bury me 'til I confess
She wants to dance like Uma Thurman
And I can't get you out of my head

The planet of Tatooine was bustling with life. People moving in and out of shops, scurrying from one corner of town to the next. All that could be seen in the distance was sand and the blazing sun. The smell of fresh fish and various meats filled the market.

A red finger fell out of a dark robe and gently touched the door. It was a planet the Sith had long occupied. Many of the scum here favored them for trades and deals. The door cracks open, and the Lady steps inside. The sound of music filled the cantina as she made her way to a back booth. “Bourbon”, her angelic voice floated her order to the droid.

She was here not for business, but if business came about she wouldn’t be upset. Hey, Sith need a break too. Her yellow eyes jetted evenly across the room, scoping out any source of entertainment for the night. Putting the glass to her lips, her fingers caressed the glass. Sighing, she rolled her eyes and continued her walk towards the back booth. “pathetic” she thought to herself. “Not a decent being in here”.

It was seen as his listless eyes glanced around suspiciously at those around him while exiting the transport. Walk into the spaceport where hidden beneath the cloak Ronin had come to seek lay low for a while. As strange as it would seem for him to do so after getting into a bit of trouble. Wherein having just returned from a self-imposed exile and tending to his adoptive sister. That trouble it seems has come to seek him out yet again as with the ever-changing world around him shifting with the current state of things. That he began to seem not to care as much about following the code as he acted in ways he saw fit. Which was something that no less rubs a few individuals as many groups in the underworld the wrong way.

As time passed he could not help but feel or be disillusioned about the state of things so much so that. His action had no less become somewhat brash as much contradictory to the code. As more and more he found himself questioning at best pondering or doubting about the state of things. That at the time an act done with good intention be viewed as being not? And what one would seem to think to be wrong feel be so right despite all the consequences it brings?

The cantina’s music continued as the various criminals bellowed in laughter and chatter from various angles. The Twi’Lek imagined for a second the pathetic lives of the people around her. This one was most certainly a lawyer, defending the scum around the galaxy and actually winning. That one, a pilot for smuggling anything from Wookiee to children. All of their lives, meaningless. The Lady just wanted something to make her feel again.

But there was nothing. She had been searching for so long and still, nothing. She wasn’t content with it. Murder was murder without passion. She was looking to reclaim that fire she once had. A gentle red hand adjusted her hood before continuing with her drink. Surely any of the people in this cantina could show her a good time. She was just so sick of the nameless killing just to kill. Maybe she’d go bomb the Jedi Temple or make a wookie rug. She knew the boredom on her face reflected on her eyes.

“Well hello there” one of the men to her left spoke in her general direction.

“Not interested”, the Twi’Leks voice sounding as bored as she was disinterested.

“Come now. You don’t even know me…”

As quickly as it began, it was over. A knife suddenly his his hand from her table. “And I don’t want to know you”.

Are we the hunters?
Are we the hunted?
Are we the monsters?
Show me the fear under your skin
Life is a game, are you gonna play now?
Should I run away? Are you gonna stay now?
Who can you trust?
Are you one of us?

And soon wandering the streets mind lost in thought he did well to stay hidden for now. Given how the events of the past few seasons had all but darkened his outlook on things. For in contrasting shadows and light did he seem to find neither cause nor fight to which stand for. As more and more he began turning inward and detached from the world at large. For seeing how slowly he began growing tired of the fight that seemingly had no end as much as no resolution. For each fire of conflict or strife that flared neither side seems to be able to gain upper hand. That all which seem constant was neither peace nor war but of suffering without any end in sight.

But then soon enough as his gaze wander that he noted a bar of sort up ahead where he soon duck in. Walk make his way toward the bar and order himself a drink. Then standing aside to lean down by the bar end when a burly Aqualish came to bump into him. And began to seem to speak...hurling insults or simply talking appears not to matter. In the bare flicker of an eye, he goes down cold and out in a manner most seem not to think much of it. for most assume him to be just drunk. As Ronin then went back to nurse the drink in hand as continued to contemplate what if anything should he do next. Given with very little certainty did he view himself as the hunter or the hunted.

The man leaned back, writhing in pain. “You little b*…” and with one movement, Koga spun her leg around in the air and kicked his face to the table.
It would be easy to tell she was there. She wasn’t making her presence nor was she doing a very good job at laying low. The corner of the bar was starting to come alive now. She was completely unaware someone had just wondered in from the street, someone she would very much like to see again.
Another man quickly moved towards her and the pinned one on the table. Koga reached over the table and quickly pulled the knife from his hand, causing him to scream in pain. With a slash to the air, the new man fell down clenching his throat. Bringing the knife up to her lips, Koga licked the blood off of it, her yellow eyes darting to everyone watching. “Who’s next?”

I spent my whole life chained to the wall
Hunger for more, not afraid to fall
Had to cut a man down to get where I am
But someone had to tumble, and someone had to stand

Don't try to fight, nothin' you can do
I'm gonna run all over you
It's too late to try, there's nothin' you can do
I'm gonna run all over you

And soon enough it took a while but see the Aqualish companion notice slump on the ground. Try as they could wake him that it soon came apparent that Aqualish was gone. With gun drawn his companion came to rush Ronin who in the blink of an eye screamed. His arm still clutching the blaster fell to the ground. And before anyone else could voice their objection he ball fist in a manner that silence the scream. As the other fell dead as well with Ronin barely glancing or giving any notice. When across the room he could have sworn to note a seem familiar reddish hue....that made him raise a brow.. Look in her direction but for a moment as he turn. Lean back onto the bar...

Care not to mask his presence waited as much ponder the thought....of what strange a bedfellow had fate been. That seems the crossroad that the two of them would be here at seem what might as well. Have been the ending of the world and the beginning of the great unknown abyss...

… A broken heart is all that's left
I'm still fixing all the cracks
Lost a couple of pieces when
I carried it, carried it, carried it home
… I'm afraid of all I am
My mind feels like a foreign land
Silence ringing inside my head
Please carry me, carry me, carry me home

When the man grabbed his neck and fell to the floor, Koga spun around with her hood falling to her shoulders. Was anyone else looking for a good time? The commotion must have triggered the bar tender to call for the guards because almost as soon as she started fighting, the faint sound of heavy footsteps could be heard moving towards the cantina.

Her yellow eyes darted across the bar, seeking out anyone else who tried to harm her. They landed on a particular man; one whom she had known in a former life. He was having some trouble of his own, it would seem.

She spoke to the man in her mind “Looks like we have company”

I've never claimed to be a good boy
That lad is long dead
Cause I got stuck in the wars, Grace
Ones with bullets
And ones in my head

But you made it so
Easy to let go
Now I'm all alone
And the shots are deafening

I shook hands with the Devil
Ah this town best be careful
Cause when you're already dead
There's no rope for your neck
You're finally free

It was then seen without missing a beat appear neither to be bothered nor care of what he had done. Take his time in between sips of his drink to dart a glance over at those present. If for nothing else see if anyone else would dare take the gamble of the two earlier taken. Then from the corner of his mind, a voice seem to brush his thought and spoke. To which he in turn replied in the somewhat same manner just.

'Perhaps as do they ever learn...'

By which time the first of a couple more so of heavy arm guards came busting in and panic soon ensues. Where those that could or had reason not begin to leave. As the few that couldn't do their best hunkered down and moved out of the way of the guards. Upon seeing a lone man at the bar whom the bartender reluctantly notion to point at that they began to surround him. And in their authoritative tone demanded him to stand down before moving to seem as if attempting to apprehend as much escort him out when. Even before one close to him even attempted to do that he let out a cry of pain. As with barely one hand raised high in the air Ronin spoke.

"I ain't going nowhere and will leave when I decide or chose to...so best you leave as I ain't asking and definitely not the habit of repeating myself."

And just then shifting his stance so that the glint of his saber hilt became visible. As from the crowd a voice mutter. Seem confused why Jedi would but he clearly silenced him by replying back that he was neither one nor cared been one. Before down the last of his drink as he proceeds to walk off cause the guards behind the first one react and proceed to try to apprehend him as well. Cause quite a scene of complete chaos that sooner followed...

I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals
I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse

Koga watched as the guards hauled one man away and turned their attention to her old accomplice. She didn’t have time to react before the bartender was pointing in her direction. Quickly, two guards made their way over to her. Looking at the carnage and at her, one held his staff while the other shouted orders for her to turn around “put your hands on your head”.

“And if I refuse?” She stated charmingly.

“Then I’m going to enjoy watching you bleed as I pull your a** from this cantina” . His voice was stunt and threatening.

Koga turned slowly and placed her hands behind her back. One guard approached, grabbing her wrist roughly. As soon as he made contact, she grabbed his hand and used the cuffs to twist his hand, spinning around him. She grabbed his neck and stared at the other guard with fire in her eyes. “So here’s what’s going to happen. You’re going to let me walk out of here and maybe I won’t kill you all”

Come back to life
The fire inside
The fever is breaking
The shadows are fading away as I sharpen the knife
Can't take me out
No I ain't going down tonight

I am a fighter
I'm a fighter
I'm a survivor
Even if I fall, I'll be up again cause I'm a fighter
I am a fighter
I'm a survivor
Never lay down, never give up
I am a fighter

It was then in the midst of it all after barely a moment past that with a touch. The man before Ronin crumpled dead leaves the others behind the guard to panic. Draw their blaster try as they wanted to fall dead as well. Leaves those faces off with Koga left standing for now as he takes a step foward.

" ...no one ever listens anymore. So anyone wants to join these lots and test my patience? "

His words are cold and seem devoid of emotion as if he seems to be simply stating the case. And seemed to have little care for the action he'd done. Before taking an only moment as all are left stunned. Of just what happened as he simply walks away. To clear a path out as those still left breathing shook in fear flee at the sight of him passing by.

I wanna start a revolution
A type of personal solution
We all have got our own pollution
It's all about the execution
You've got something to say,
Your hands are tied
Open your mouth, open it wide
Let the freedom begin

The man smirked at Koga. How dare she be so naive to assume he’d just let her walk out. Lifting his hand, the man opened his mouth to speak before commotion from the other side of the bar caught his attention.

Koga used this as the perfect opportunity to make her move. Grabbing the man’s arm, she twisted and hurled him over her to the ground. He broke a chair as he landed on his back.

The Sith looked over at the commotion and realized she did in fact know the presence she felt before. “Looks like you’ve got things handled her” she called out.

OOC: Sorry for the late post. ❤️

In the lion's den
The blood is sinking in
See the sweat on the flesh
Hear the whispers of death
The vultures are circling

Lift the iron gate (yeah)
Seal a new soul's fate (yeah)
Feel the chill in your bones (yeah)
See the violence of Thrones
Another dead man is dragged away (yeah)

Gone, without a word to say
Gone, won't see another day
Gone, if they should come my way

And just like that the fight from the guards seemed wavered seeing quite a few of their colleagues that faced off with Ronin. Now lay dead or near death on the ground had become lost for words as they stumbled back leave in a panic. Just midway through the room, he hears her response, and with a slightly raised brow, he looks her way.

"Hardly a fight or reason to be handled but then again...interesting see you here? But just the same best we depart and speak somewhere else as do admit it has been a while since our last meeting. Shall we? "

He then nods to the notion of her to the open door that leads out of there. For much, it seemed since his long absence and subsequent return had he noted quite a change in things. Some of which were good... a few not so much but for the most part it had all but felt awfully strange. As the disconnect seems slowly crept in to replace the brief moment of curiosity he had about how things were.

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down, but I won't fall
I am titanium

Koga nodded. Her long Lethan fingertips touching her black hood, she quickly put it back over her head. Moving in the direction of Ronin, she aimed to get out of the cantina before any more guards arrived.

“That’ll be 200 credits” the bartender spoke in almost a whisper as he watched the Sith and the carnage that unfolded. The Twi’Lek looked over at the man and rolling her eyes in disgust, flipped credits on to the counter.

“Let’s go”. Her velvety voice echoed as it reached Ronin.

They'll say that you're reckless
When you live like a renegade
They'll say that it's hopeless
That you're gone and you can't be saved

What do they know, what do they know
Ooo, I ain't afraid just to let go
Keep the feeling, keep the feeling
You'll never know what I'm stealing

I always go too far...
Feel the thrill and the danger

And so it was as the pair walked on out there that he then pulled his cloak hood up to cover his face partly. Not so much for anything that deep sense of distrust he had to mostly everything that was unfamiliar to him. Upon his return much if not everything had moved on as much become that more chaotic to him. Where they clearly define the line of light or dark...order or chaos has seemingly become so muddled to him. That see last interest to care as there was very little to nearly nothing he could begin care of. Outside that few connections he had left that were familiar as strange it would be included his old red twillik acquaintance . That now stood beside him as the pair walked ... and he turn slightly to speak Koga.

"It had been quite some time but...what brings you all the way out here ?"
