Jalek awoke profusly sweating as he looked around. He knew it was just a dream, yet it was so vivid. The murder of his family. He wiped his brow with his sleeve and cut himself out of the tree he hid in. He had be paid to find a woman. Asajj was the name he was given. He was told to observe her until he found out how attuned to the force she was.

Asajj was wandering out in the Commenor forest, taking a break from the hustle of the big city. There was something always calming about the wilds, even if it was after the Sith curfew. She was once again dressed in her Iridonian clothing, the thick leathers accented by red and blue cloth signature to the nobility of her homeworld. Barefoot as usual she ran through the trees, every now and then tracing her palms over the bark.

And leaving behind a faint mark etched by the Force.

Jalek jumped down from the tree, using the force to make his decent slow and silent. He saw the mark on the tree, knowing she was close Jalek reached out with the force. Deciding to go with a direct approach. Asajj why do wish to learn the ways of the force? He didn't know what else to say so he went with whatever came to mind.

"So you're the one following me." The Dathomir finally stopped, glaring over her shoulder towards [member="Jalek Shin"] . She could feel the eyes on her as she ran through the forest. It was why she began to lay out traps among the trees. Night Sister magic at its finest. She turned to face the boy fully, her eyes filled with anything but amusement. "I've a better question. How do you know my name? And why shouldn't I just up and kill you now?"

Jalek smiled. He knew he was a little cocky for this but he wanted to give it a shot. "I am a Jalek. I mean you no harm. I was only paid to observe you. Watch you grow in power." he decided to tell half of the truth. He had his lightsaber in his leg pouch, so he knew he was safe on that end. He pulled his blaster out and put it at her feet with the force.

Cautiously the woman reached down to her side to pull free the lightsaber that hung there. With a simple press of a button the orange blade sprang to life. "You haven't given me an answer, Jalek." She spat, her eyes narrowing on [member="Jalek Shin"] . "In fact you've given me another reason to end you here and now. I don't take kindly to creeps."

"No, you are wrong. I've given you a reason to trust me. I have betrayed my contract by telling you who I am." he knew she was on edge but something about her seem easy going. He used that to his advantage. "I promise, I am only a simple observer. Plus, how am I to fight back without my weapon." He took one step forward, showing the scar on his face where a jedi had stuck him.

"The amount of cares I have is non existent creep." She spat out in response. As soon as he stepped forward she brought her blade around into a two handed grip, lept forward, and brought the blade down. "You were warned."

Jalek pulled his saber out using the force and blocked her blade in a reverse grip." You're arrogance blinds you. I am no creep." he said in a monotone voice. " I do not wish to fight you, but if I must I will strike you down. You have been warned"

"So much for weaponless, huh creep?" She spat out in response to him, frowning deeper. "You lie, you stalk, you creep. Don't ever follow me again."

" I do as I must. Judge me if you wish, but at least I live without fear." he remarked. He knew this would hit a nerve. He could sense a hidden fear locked deep within her. "I don't like doing these things. Honestly, I was paid to come here, but that isn't why I came." he was through with tricking her. He knew it'd lead him no where.

Asajj rolled her eyes and walked away. She was done with this creep.

Jalek used force speed to get in front of her. He grabbed her wrists and held her in the air. "Look, we have more in common than you think. What I know might be able to help you in some way. I'll let you decide whether you want that knowledge or not." He dropped her on her feet and started walking off. Deactivating his lightsaber in the process.
