The Demon of Dxun

Dxun...

Precipitation pored from the Heavens vehemently, as if to weep over the return of the foulness that was Rage. His temple had been consumed by thick green foliage and his subjects were little more than lumbering tribals. Even so, the prophecy had been fulfilled. Rage's immortality and freedom had been secured. The ancient temple that had once been his home and prison was now but a mere base of operations. Rage's temple was built from the remains of a star dreadnought and stone from the surrounding area. The electronics within had long since failed, and the people in it's lumbering halls were hardened by the Demon moons natural trials.

They wielded simple weapons, swords and bow, but even so, every now and then the tempered hunters would catch the unsuspecting spacer. What became of them was unspeakable. The spacer's would be dragged deep within the bowels of the temple, where they'd be placed upon the sacrificial alter. It was absent of blood despite the thousands of offerings that had been made to the locals Sith god. Instead ominous glowing statues of various colors stood as if attempting to flee from the place. The statues were in fact the sacrifices to Rage.

Each person who made it this far into the tomb would be implanted with a crystal. The thing would sink into their flesh and bind to their very beings. Rage would sap them of their essence as his crystal wound it's way through their hearts and as he did so their forms would turn to stone at varying degrees. Depending on how strong willed they were that is. Recently another ritual had been done in the Golem chamber. One in which a Mandalorian descendant had been captured. These Mandalorians had long since forgotten their servitude to Audroti, but he had not. He ordered his subjects to capture a specific one from their ranks.

They did as told and brought the young Mando'a to the chamber. Rage performed his awful ritual and carved the boy in half. Finding a stone heart at his very core. Rage absorbed it and now held the key to his immortality and freedom. Now Rage stood atop the temple awaiting. Awaiting his guest. A young Sith that had caught the eye of Audroti. Rage's temple was well hidden and only those attuned with the force would be able to find it. Rage smiled as his subjects mulled about in the downpour, making things as nice as possible for their soon to arrive guest...

Ancient ruins were always an interest to the young Sith. If there was anything that called to him, it was the secret knowledge deep within. But, of all the tombs Kahlil had found himself in, this was the most overrun and decrepit. He casually waved his hand, sending sphere after sphere of darkness to the primitive weapon wielders that stalked the halls. They'd be reduced to ash all the same for threatening the Sith.

Deeper and deeper he walked, nearing the dark presence he had initially come here for. With his staff in hand the knight prepared for what ever laid at the heart.

Rage felt as his servants lives were snuffed out by the unseen interloper and he merely smiled to himself. They would be no use to him anyways, they had served their purpose and now it was time for Audroti to ascend to greater heights. He no longer needed the caveman like beings who had served him faithfully for almost a millennia. So, he would leave them here to guard his crypt and palace. Rage sent a mental wave of telepathy to his servants that the interloper was a welcomed guest and they immediately ceased hostilities.

Rage marched down from the top of his palace and made his way towards the newcomer. His stone heart glowing a deep crimson that could be seen even beneath his dark robes. As he descended the steps he was immediately flanked by two lightsaber wielding acolytes. Rage needed no guard and any effect these mongoloids would have on the other darksider would be minimal. Even so, it was never wrong to be cautious, so Audroti allowed them to follow. He marched through the archaic halls of his temple, brushing aside cobwebs and the odd dust ball.

Every now and then they'd pass a crystal golem. The golems stood as silent gargoyles, decorations in name only. Rage smiled as he passed one and grabbed hold a chunk of its crystal and broke it off. Stuffing it in his satchel he decided he might need it later. A Sith's ploys never ceased after all...

"Ah? Done fighting?" Kahlil raised a curious brow as his foes lowered their weapons and ceased hostility. He didn't trust that it wasn't going to be some sort of trap, but he had no intention of exhausting himself on mere minions. The young Sith continued towards the dark signature he was searching for, which had begun to move. He laughed, glancing to one of the nearby humans.

"Oh, your master has decided to come himself. Very well." He stopped in the middle of the passageway, his staff in hand. He would let [member="Darth Rage"] come to him.

Darth Rage made his way through meandering halls and ancient alcoves. Dust strewn passageways reminded him of just how long it truly had been. Even with his servants it was impossible to wipe away the grime of centuries past. So, much had Audroti missed... Now that would change. No longer was he confined to the stables of his temple. Now he was free to roam the galaxy and this peon would see his return. As Audroti marched nearer he felt tendrils of darkside energy leap off of him and they manifested as red aura's, like flames licking from his very body. He would not meet this interloper, no he would have him delve deeper into the heart of his temple.

Rage sent a command to have his servants march this man towards the alter, where the crystal golems stood guard. As Rage meandered through his palace followed by his guard he caressed the walls with loving fingers. He would not miss this place at all. He went through trap strewn halls as minion's peered out at him through unseen alcoves. Was another sacrifice to be made? Perhaps...

Kahlil narrowed his eyes as the servants began to lead him deeper and deeper within. Oh yes, this was going to end up a trap, but for whom? He remained silent now, figuring it was pointless to try and speak to the servants who didn't seem to have a voice of their own. None the less he set a hand on the hilt of his guardian, ready to give it the order should the hostilities resume.

But no such thing happened. Instead, he made it all the way to the alter without anymore needless killing. And there he'd wait for [member="Darth Rage"] , ever patient to figure out the secret of this tomb.

Dxun.

Rain swept the planets surface in huge stretches. It was this rain that seemed to give rise to the giant swathes of Jungle that ensconced the planet. Beasts concealed themselves in shadow, hoping for any unfortunate to happen along. This was why the air always smelled; It was the scent of the dead and the dying.. Maleus crossed a maze of twisting paths that would've disoriented the average traveler. He followed his intuition which opened his mind to the suffering that hung in the air.
Fear. Desperation.Anger.
These sensations colored his perceptions and drew his presence like opposing magnetic charges. He wades through the jungle with his black cloak trailing behind him. Every now and again the whirling of his metallic arm drew vines away from his body..

"Interesting." Red rimmed eyes observed a strange structure in the distance. He couldn't make out what the object was at this range, but he would soon be close enough to see through the overlapping branches that held this planet in some sort of eerie embrace.
