Equinox had been to the forge to acquire his lightsabers that he had named Light and Dark already. Now he need something that he could use for lang range engagements and for when his lightsabers were not available to him or they were not ideal for the situation. Therefore he placed another order at the forge to complete a blaster weapon that he was going to call The Defector. This weapon would help him in all situations when he was out trying to gain revenge over his enemies or when he was completing bounties. Or maybe for when the day comes that he actually takes a side and helps people other than those he already trusts. He had to complete many bounties to earn the money to get the parts that the secret forge would put together for him. Therefore he was technically the one that put the gun together, he just did not configure it.
After the gun was completed he took it on many missions with him and he used it lots of situations where he would not have survived if he didn't the blaster or his expertise. On one mission he used the grappling to hide on the ceiling until his enemy was below him, finally he jumped down and struck the man down with both of his lightsabers before quickly climbing a wall with his parkour and force use to escape. Now he holds this blaster truly to his heart as the one that had saved him (and made life easier).

- Improved Energy Cell allows the gun to be more powerful when shot, however this does increase the recoil.
- The Power Pulsator V makes the gun more powerful by adding additional plasma energy to the blaster bolt.
- The grappling spike launcher allows the user to get around easily by providing more ways to move around, by grappling onto walls and ceilings and being able to ride across the wire that it produces.
- This gun has a strength that is the fact that it can quickly interchange modes for different uses such as long range sniping, short range blaster fights and anti-vehicle shots.
- The blaster is in no way waterproof and therefore water can completely defect the gun making it unusable until repaired.
- The grappling wire is made by a liquid that solidifies but only in certain conditions, and therefore cannot be used all the time, also, even if the conditions are completely fine for the liquid to work it has a chance of breaking or not completing in time to complete the wire before the liquid is split after being fired.
