ADVANCED SYSTEMS

ANq 3.6 Tracking Computer: Allows the Deathraven to track up to 1,000 signature targets and to select target locks.
HG.6w Flight Control Avionics: Allows the use of the Gyro to spin the Deathraven around.

Strengths:
  • Overwhelming Firepower: No one ever said the Deathraven was a pushover. It has enough firepower to take down a small corvette if it so desired and can take out most starfighters with ease.
Weaknesses:
  • Gyro Issues: Much like the old B-Wings, it can have the Gyro jam and prevent it from spinning. This can prove to be tricky upon landing and can result in damage.
  • How Do I Land This Thing?!: The Deathraven is notorious for folding up strangely when landing and can result in the user crashing. To land the ship, it requires it to fold for fifteen seconds then to land after it is already upright to sideways configuration. Overall, it takes thirty seconds to a full minute before it can even do a proper landing procedure.
  • Cramped Cockpit: It is so small and cramped that it is unwise to sit in the Deathraven for long periods of time before developing cramps and is generally very uncomfortable.
  • Long Repair Time: It has a lot of moving parts, making it almost four times the amount of repair time versus a normal B-Wing model should have.
Description:
When going to a local auction house for gyro plans and blueprints, a very unusual sight was given to Listib Hibins. In front of him was the fabeled Deathraven, right there on his own planet. It was unusual to find and those around the auction house did not know what it truly was, neither did the autioneers, believing it to be a very unique ugly. Within a few hours and fifty thousand credits later, the Deathraven was bought. Bringing it back to the Hot Destruction Company, he proudly displayed it as people pointed out its deteriorated damage. With a long groan, the task to rebuild it began along with scanning down how it was built.

As people looked over the design, the ANq 3.6 Tracking Computer and the HG.6w Flight Control Avionics had to be replaced, along with the gyro system inside. As this went on, they started to realize how ridiculous of a design it was along with the cramped cockpit. Attempting to only replicate the design to its entirety, they worked on it for a full week. When it was finished and they showed the papers to Listib, he was shocked to find out the amount of firepower on the Starfighter alone...and it was not even a starfighter. The classification hit it as a gunboat as it was to big to be a starfighter. The speed was moderate, the deflector shields were improved with more power and even the hyperdrive, untouched from time was a Class 1 which furthered the shock. Not knowing what to think of it further, he decided to just get the design analyzed and then replicated for later but till then...it was to be his personal attack craft and maybe his own gunboat to travel around the planet.

THIS IS A CANON ITEM

A note of apology in advance. To start, the Deathraven is not an easy picture to find...the Wookieepedia page image did not want to be posted on this page so it was substituted with that image...plus it is the only color photo that is not in black and white that is not made of Legos. Regardless, that is the best that can be done with the page showing the actual photo which is almost dead on. Model also came up as it is technically not one...but is one at the same time. In the end, I marked it was a B-Wing model just for safety. Lastly, it is noted that it was just almost overpowered in Canon so it required a bit of tinkering while keeping it close to its sources. Its Armament is considered Extreme and the Hyperdrive is a Class One. Defenses were lowered with Speed also being lowered to where it is believable for a ship of this design. Manuverability was kept on average since I cannot imagine a ship this well at turning but it can spin around, hence why it stays at average. Lastly, there was very little data on its special features and standard features so a majority of items were related back to the B-Wing design of old, including the Gyro system. The most interesting as I read up was that it still can take a passenger and have two months of consumables which is still ridiculous in itself. Overall, it is just a game of balance with the Deathraven and hopefully, I did it right.
