Description:

The Darksaber is a relic of an ancient time.

Crafted by unknown hands, it was once hidden away within the famous Jedi Temple. However, as the Galactic Republic fell from grace, the Mandalorians exploited its weakness. Warriors of Clan Vizsla staged a daring raid and ultimately claimed the treasure; thus beginning a tale written in blood. As it changed hands, passing down from Vizsla to Vizsla over generations, the Darksaber became a symbol of power and violence. It was the object which rallied the original Death Watch under the rule of Tor Vizsla. It was also the very same beacon wielded by Pre Vizsla during his clash with the pacifist, Mandalorian movement. For centuries, the weapon became synonymous with that Clan; until Darth Maul shattered the status quo.

Upon defeating Pre Vizsla during the Clone Wars era, the weapon found its first non-Mandalorian master in generations. However, this ownership would be short-lived. Maul formented rebellion against his former liege, Darth Sidious, but was swiftly and utterly defeated. The Darksaber, seemingly, was lost during the battle...

Only to turn up deep within Mount Tantiss centuries later.

It took the explosive entrance of a redeemed Dar'manda to liberate the relic from obscurity. In the midst of a clash between Death Watch and True Mandalorians on Wayland, the Darksaber came into the possession of Isley Verd. Following this momentous clash, it became clear that the relic was far from operational; for time and the explosion had caused significant damage. To remedy this, Isley ventured to a far-flung planet known as Alaris Prime in order to salvage saber components of the Old Republic era. Now, within the hands of its new master, the Darksaber again is a symbol. However, as opposed to leading Mandalorians to war against another, this time it will fight for unification.
