The Darkness of the Pit

Coruscant, a dangerous place for even the strongest people in the galaxy. Darkness was common within the streets and alley ways of the urban world and crime happened every day. Of course chief among these crimes was a very simple one...or not simple at all rather since it was you know a crime, kidnapping. This was the reason Soliael was here, it was the reason that the newly dubbed god Neth had left the Moross Crusade and was no standing within the republic.

Upon his hand was a ring, a simple trinket that hid his signature within the force quite well though at the cost of his ability to use it. For now however it was a necessity as he waited within the cold dark alleyways. As mentioned before he was here for a kidnapping, though not just any kidnapping. His goal was quite simple, find a Jedi, capture them, and then throw them within the Pit. The Pit of course was an ancient Prison, one where Soliael had spent the last four decades. The reason for this was actually quite simple, because he wanted to know how long they would last.

Soliael knew plenty about the Pit, he knew what it was like within the dark of the prison but he had no idea what it was like for others. He wanted to see a Jedi within the prison, he wanted to see if they could survive, or even thrive. He was curious, and as the Keeper of knowledge it was his duty to find out.

Slowly Soliael wandered toward the Jedi temple here on Coruscant, he would find one there. Hopefully it would take some time to find the absence of whoever it was he took, after all people went missing every day.

On the day that @[member="Soliael Devin Talith"] searched Coruscant for a test subject to throw into the pit, Daella had been returning from an errand to the Jedi Temple. During her stay at Coruscant and without a master, it was as if the Padawan was being prepared for the responsibilities of one in the Service Corps.

Daella had to cross one more canyon to reach the Jedi temple. It was just across a possibly mile deep gap between the massive skyscrapers of Coruscant. A pedestrian crossing speeder began to cross the airway. For a bit of time, Daella had to wait at the corner.

There were many passer-by's and commoners on the Temple grounds, there always were, janitors, maintenance, and keepers, just random citizens who had business to attend to or were just happen to be there.
And he was among them, hidden in perfect sight, he was there, when one least expected, he would be there, watching and waiting.

Or he was just lost, who knows? Coruscant is a huge place, it could happen.

After hours of waiting Soliael finally found his target. From the other side of the catwalk that Daella was about to enter. He watched her for a time and could immediately tell she was a Jedi. He had no idea what her strength level was, or even if she had been trained at all. While wearing his ring Soliael was completely dead to the force, something that he now appreciated. He would have to wait until the very last minute to take off the ring or else he would risk a torrential downpour of Jedi coming onto him.

Slowly Soliael moved towards the woman, his hands were both in his pocket though one was clearly gripping something. After another minute or so Soliael stood directly before the young woman, albeit the crossing was in between them.

As the passenger speeder past between the two Soliael pulled out a small blaster like weapon. The gun appeared to be a snake, more ceremonial in nature than anything else. As soon as the transport speeder Past Soliael pulled off the ring on his hand, at the same time he pushed forward the smaller blaster like weapon. He squeezed the bottom half and the weapon fired.

A tiny burst of electricity jumped towards Daella, a powerful stunning projectile.

Several seconds passed as the pedestrian bus zoomed toward the corner of the skywalk. A multitude of civilians began to gather at the corner, expecting to cross. Daella most likely would have been expecting the same. Her eyes were a downcast as she waited.

The moment @[member="Soliael Devin Talith"] took off his ring and raised his weapon, Daella lifted her head slightly. The speeder to take the pedestrians across the airway just managed to ease itself to the corner, as if to dock. As Soliael pulled the trigger, Daella already began to throw her body back. She launched herself off her heels in a quick tumble backward. The electric bolt struck a Duro that had stood on the other side of Daella before she moved. He immediately collapsed to the ground.

During the roll, Daella had drawn her training saber. She ignited its blue blade once enough people had moved away from her. The hilt of Daella’s saber was typical for a training saber.

Turning her side to the side, Daella’s eyes locked onto Soliael for a split second. Wide eyes and a slightly open mouth met the man before clinching her jaw and narrowing her eyes the moment after.

Not much time had passed before Daella turned away from the Jedi Temple and began to run away from Soliael. She ran at a high speed, as if intent to outright Soliael if he pursued.

Drayus stood in a long overcoat, coupled by a mesh underweave shirt as he stood along the busy streets of Coruscant. His presence within the Force was masked for now -- a technique that his former Master had taught him, quite useful for avoiding Jedi or just watching the hustle and bustle of the streets without being swarmed by the Republic. In his own way, hiding right under the enemy's nose was both amusing and refreshing. On the surface, his jovial appearance would be no indication of what lied beneath the surface.

Regardless, trouble had sought him before he knew it. He heard a lightsaber ignite about a few feet to his east. He spun on his heel as he saw the blue beam of light ignite into the air, his black hair falling over his neck as he walked towards the confrontation. He sifted through the crowds of people running away, and began to watch the scene unfold before his very eyes. He had sensed it. The bogan presence eminating from past the girl. Siodmak cursed silently under his breath. The Sith had attracted attention to himself, and if he wasn't quick, there'd be a swarm of Jedi Knights descending on him sooner than he could blink. The black hair stuck to his forehead, plastered partially due to the cold air surrounding him. His eyes traced the girl holding the lightsaber, and due to his expertise with blades, began to analyze the make of the blade. A training hilt, no doubt. He frowned ever so slightly, watching the girl run along the pavement away from the Sith.

Deciding it would be in his best interest to follow the girl to see what happened, he once more blended in with the crowd that was running in her direction, away from the conflict, watching, observing...

@[member="Soliael Devin Talith"] wouldn't get the chance to pursue. There was a roar from the crowd, dispersing what little pedestrians remained. Tracyn held his lightsaber in his hand, and his fist curled in the other. The Dashi armor he wore, was a simple of the Jedi for battle. He had smelled the little bastard before he took off that stupid ring. Solial was due for a whoopin' since Metalorn."Submit to arrest and trial by Republic jury of your peers, or submit to a whoopin' of the highest degree. Make a move, creep."Tracyn said, activating the saber, and holding it out in front of him, angled up at 45 degrees. His leg was back, providing him with ample power for stepping attacks.
He stared down Solial, and smirked at him at the same time."Usually, if I were a Sith, I wouldn't exactly go to the capital of the Republic and the Jedi to go...I don't know. Whatever you want to accomplish here."Tracyn said, remaining the Djem So stance. He would give him a chance, a fair one at that, to submit to arrest. He hoped he would try to run, he was seriously hoping he would. Tracyn showing up, was something that Solial would probably not find amusing. Tracyn was a downright monster in combat, and his promise of a whoopin' would be fully delivered.

WITH EXTRA EMPHASIS ON WHOOPIN'.

Soliael raised his eyebrow as he was suddenly confronted by what he assumed was some sort of Jedi Knight. The man immediately threatened him with a lightsaber which granted was probably warranted seeming as how he had just shot at a small girl. He frowned slightly, he should have expected this. Perhaps his time with his own Worshipers had dulled his senses. Luckily however he was on Coruscant, and as many knew Coruscant was a massively huge place, a great place to have a chase.

A smile tugged at his lips as he thought about this and looked down into the space below. The Force filled him, his muscles and ligaments tightening and his bones becoming slightly more dense.

Soliael looked at the strange armored man facing him, and then simply gave him a shrug. With one step Forward Soliael dove into the abyss that was before him, filled with speeders and transports. He fell for what seemed like only a brief second, though in that time he traversed through several dozen of Coruscant's levels. Finally he righted himself within the air just as a transport was nearing him. Placing a buffer between himself and the force Soliael crashed down onto the roof of the transport. In an instant he came to a stop, his entire body rattling as he did so. The Sith looked upwards with a grin, he was sure the Jedi would follow.

As @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] made a move against @[member="Soliael Devin Talith"], Daella turned her head back for a moment to glance at the scene. She continued to run away from the Sith.

After Soliael dove off the skywalk, Daella turned toward a parked speeder in front of a shop. Much as what Jedi had done before, Daella apparently reasoned that it was necessary to requisition the speeder for her own use. Leaping into the driver’s seat, Daella quickly powered up the speeder and drove forward.

When she passed by Tracyn and the corner she was once at, Daella did not even make a glance back. She focused her eyes on the transport that Soliael had landed on and sped toward it to give chase - weaving in and out of airway traffic without crashing.

Soliael stared upwards into the abyss of the Coruscant skyline searching for a falling Jedi. He spotted a speeder dropping towards himself moving at ridiculous speeds. He smiled slightly as he extended his force senses outwards into the skyline. The Sith found the Jedi Padawan within the speeders cockpit. His smirk grew a little wider and then he reached out with the force once again. The darkside whirled around him for the briefest of second and across the great distance between them the Sith Made eye contact with the Padawan.

As he stared at the speeder and into the Jedi a black line crossed his eye. It was almost unnoticeable as it drifted across his sight and obscured his vision for just a second. Then he lashed out with the force. The Darkside lashed out towards the padawan, and Soliael gripped towards the womans mind.

Soliael created an illusion within the young womans(@[member="Daella Apparine"]) mind. He created a speeder within her peripheral vision, one heading directly towards her. At the same time he hid another speeder coming from a different direction completely from her view. The hope was she would try to dodge the fake illusion speeder and crash into the invisible real speeder.

It's funny how those things happen, and how the Force worked in mysterious ways.
A man entered a speeder, grumbling to himself and taking out a datapad with a map, setting the mobile on autopilot he grumbled to himself as he tried to find his way around the space lanes, when suddenly
BAM
Another man has landed on top of his speeder.
The man stopped the speeder immediately, looking out he saw the man bended out of the speeder's window to see just what or who it was that slammed on top of his speeder.
Just in time to notice that it was another being, the careful eyes of the man piloting the speeder caught a glimpse of a black line crossing the man's eyes. There were only three types of people who would survive a fall onto another speeder, aliens, droids and cyborgs, or Force users. And the man did not appear to be part of the first two groups. Neither did he appear to have good intentions.

The man in the speeder quickly reached to the glove compartment, taking out a white mask with black markings, he slid it on his head aaaand.
He engaged the rotational thrusters of the speeder in a quick burst.
The surface Solialel was standing on would soon disappear beneath his feet as the speeder rotated at incredibly high speed, there was a high chance of the side of the speeder slamming into him dangerously. The pilot was strapped in, safely, and able to coordinate and withstand high speed rotations.
Solialel would have to act fast to avoid getting hit by the speeder, distracting him from the mind trick he was conducting and breaking the eyecontact, most likely.
This could provide the chance Daella needed to escape the trap set by the illusion.

The black robed figure masked itself from the seeing and unseeing eye. It crouched low to the ground as it slid across the outer edges of a skyscaper lined neatly next to the massive Jedi temple. Its golden eyes shown from under its hood, squinting slightly as the sun dipped down in the horizon to release the telltale red-orange glow of late afternoon. However, these eyes did not stay trained on a single spot for the entirety of the figure's residence on the ledge. Instead, the sun-hued gaze darted back and forth to track particular individuals of interest as they sprinted, shouted, and shot at each other across the streets and hoverlanes of the ecumenopoleis.

The figure's interests lay on a single individual, though. The black-clad man that had fired at the Jedi, leapt down into the depths of Coruscant, and now attempted to rid himself of pursuing Jedi and their accomplices. That man was Talith, commonly known as Neth the Keeper. He was the sole reason the Lord was here on the Republic capital as it was the man's duty to ensure the survival of the Moross God. The crouched figure had accepted the invitation humbly and began to track Neth to the extent that even the God didn't know his whereabouts.

Golden eyes averted to the God's frame as he stood atop a speeder, collecting his energies to leave a nasty surprise for the following Jedi. This was when Dranok made his move. The Lord dropped his Force cloak entirely, hoping to distract the pursuers as the hooded man stretched out with invisible hands to ingrain themselves in the God, fueling him with even more power to complete his task.

With the amulet of Tal'ra, Tracyn didn't exactly seem to be phased by the fake speeders. He leapt downwards, smashing into the speeder that Sol was throwing at Daella. The speeder veered off course, but regained control as the autopilot of the speeder adhered back to the traffic lanes. Tracyn stood up on the speeder, and thumbed over the ignition of his lightsaber again, re-igniting the blue blade. He used the force to leap unto the transport that Solial was on, and then spun his lightsaber into the Djem So guard, staring him down for a second. The Sith had already forsaken a chance for arrest, so Tracyn was now going to resort to more...intricate methods of subduing him. Tracyn force pulled Sol by his chest, and held the saber outwards directly, hoping to catch him straight in a shiak, right through his chest. And even he failed, he would now have Sol in a very uncomfortable position, that of, well, fighting.

And from what he saw on Metalorn, this guy wasn't very good at that.

And neither was the pilot at PILOTING THE TRANSPORT, because the whole thing just flip-floppity-whoppity went sideways, and Tracyn slammed his lightsaber into the side of the transport, Peter Pan style like the sail, and dug into it. He held on for dear life, and then dis-engaged his lightsaber. The force of the wind carried him back, and he landed safely into the hood of another transport. He used the force to make sure he didn't hurt anyone too greatly, but flying back was preferable to getting smooshed into the Coruscanti ground. He really hoped that the transport guy knew what he was doing.

The Sith Juggernaut had made his move. He would not allow his comrades to fall in battle while he stood idly by. He pressed a button on his wristpad, and his armor began to envelop him, and cover his body. As the giant behemoth walked behind Tracyn Ordo from the crowd, he had ignited his lightsaber directly towards the Knight's back with a mere flourish of his blade given his skill at lightsaber combat, hoping to catch him off guard and at the same time, give Sol an opportunity to escape the rather uncomfortable position he was in. Drayus figured if that didn't catch him off guard, he'd still be in a rather unfortunate situation, trapped between two well-trained Sith Knights of the Empire...

As Daella drove the speeder, her eyes drifted toward @[member="Soliael Devin Talith"]. She maneuvered through the tight air traffic as she did so. Yet, there was no response from her facial expression as Soliael attempted to create an illusion in Daella’s mind.

Just after Soliael attempted his illusion, Daella made quick bank of her speeder as if to avoid the fake one speeding toward her. Yet due to the turn of events, she did not crash due to @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] forcing the real speeder next to Daella to move away.

Without missing a beat, Daella sped toward the transport, now with Soliael, Tracyn, and @[member="Drayus Siodmak"] atop of it. Yet, the chaos of the scene seemed to dissuade Daella from getting too close to the transport. She simply flew around it while keeping her eyes on Soliael.

Soliael was not fool enough to stay upon a falling transport...or one that was trying to kill him rather. As the transport began to turn Soliael felt power enter him. He did not know from where, nor did he really care at the time but he felt the force flow through him. The Darkside took hold of him, and Soliael moved bounded off the transport just as it reached a horizontal slate. He bounded off ward in one massive leap jumping into the air traffic of Coruscant once again.

A few times he bounded off of a speeder or two using the traffic as a way to maneuver through the air. Then once again he found stable ground aboard a transport speeder. As soon as he landed ontop the speeder Soliael lashed out with his hand.

A massive burst of force lightning surged forward towards @[member="Tracyn Ordo"]. This was not the spark of an apprentice, not the burst of a Knight, but a full surge of Force Lightning that could normally only be fielded by a master. Thankfully however @[member="Dranok Lussk"] facilitated Soliaels ability to create such a powerful attack.

The Sith Master bounding from rooftop strained to keep his Force flowing into the man below as he allocated small portions of it to guide his figure to his next landing zone. Black robes fluttered behind him in the breeze, cool, moist air smashing against his exposed face and neck as a gust of wind shoved his hood back. A fraction of a second later, his shadow-hued boots clomped against a rooftop as he sprinted forward to propel himself to the next one in order to maintain his alignment with the lightning-wielding God below.

Dranok grit his teeth as his jaw set, his sun-colored eyes glazed upon the battle ensuing. Even more Force users had become trapped in an endless battle of attrition, almost all of the combatants at equal skill. It would be up for a Master of the darkness to intervene to secure the safety of the Keeper below. It wasn't time just yet, so he just kept his energies focused on hitting the next rooftop and sending enough power to Neth.

Fortunately for Tracyn, lightning's properties worked wonders for him as a taller, faster moving speeder above him naturally attracted the lightning, and shorted out, and dove downwards as it lost power, but it would soon restart, granted if most of the electrical components wouldn't get fried. Tracyn only caught a brief spark of it, which was absorbed by his lightsaber, but the action still scooted him back several feet. He stood in the maniac wind, his blonde hair waving and his Dashi robes flutting in the wind. Gripping to the heavy cloak, Tracyn gently removed it from his person, letting @[member="Soliael Devin Talith"] see who he was karking with now. Even with someone else fueling him, a Sith Knight level-trained person using that much of the dark side and power in general would not bode well for him. Tracyn slid along the transport, and then instepped towards Sol, his lightsaber then coming around his waist, a two handed hold on the hilt for more power.
The blade came in over his body diagonally, and then came crashing down to Soliael, one of the most powerful attacks in all of lightsaber forms. Falling avalanche, and with Tracyn, it was more like an entire mountain coming down on him."I told you I was gonna get to whoopin'!"Tracyn said, as the blade came down to Soliael.

MEANWHILE IN HIS SPEEDER

The Sith jumped off of his speeder while another being soon followed in after him, good.
Then the Sith began shooting out lightning, leaving no doubt that he was a Dark Force User.
Within the chaos, Ink knew what to do next. He took out a thermal detonator from his pocket, pulling the speeder up into a sharp ascend and locking it in an autopilot. He jammed the detonator underneath the steering wheel, near the pedals, closer to the engine.

He kicked open the door, timing in as the speeder zoomed past a landing platform, Ink jumped out, tumbling into a group of bystanders who were looking at the chaos underneath.
He grunted as he quickly jumped into a stance, his body absorbing the momentum and kinetic shock, unharmed, he was able to resist damage like that.

He looked up to the speeder, still in a steep climb.
Suddenly, something inside exploded, shaking the speeder as it still flew above them, it left a dark smoking trail like a flare as it started to spin out of control, rolling and tumbling.
Finally, another explosion, much larger, was seen as the engine of the speeder caught fire and exploded in a large boom of black smoke and debris, metal shards and wreckage raining down beneath it onto the battlefield.

The black cloud of smoke as result of the explosion, and the following trail leading into the battlefield clearly visible in the Coruscant sky.
As was the loud explosion clearly heard, just nearby the Jedi Temple.

Soon enough, sirens began blaring as the Corsucant Security Forces began arriving onto the battlefield to investigate the origins of the explosion.

Ink grunted, turning as he adjusted his hat and disappeared in the crowd of on-lookers.
