The Dark Side of Ryloth (Invite)

Nefertari saw quite a few Sith, and was immediately on her guard. Her best hope was to keep her cool and hopefully escape the planet in tact.

The lady Jedi came upon [member="Ultimatum"], [member="T'zanith Zebron"], and [member="Animus Malgus"]
Quickly, she surveyed those before her and took mental note. She could probably take the droid, but the two...acolytes she guessed might pose a threat if they teamed up.

"You all got Caught by the Storm too?" One of the Sith asked as the woman noticed [member="Lord Sabastian"]
"Indeed." Nef answered "Thank the force I am not alone, though. Getting out of here will be easier together."
The knight almost always had a smoke bomb on her in case she needed a quick escape. Hopefully she wouldn't have to use it.

Perhaps she could break this tension...
The lady stepped forward and offered her hand in fellowship to the gold-brown haired human. While she didn't like Sith, Nefertari wasn't stupid. These were her enemies, but they were enemies with a common interest: survival.

Animus cocked an eyebrow in the gesture of trust from a Jedi. Animus considering the situation took her hand and shook it, we all needed allies right now, and if all Jedi looked like her he would feel a bit remorseful for killing them all, her green eyes worked better than most Force tricks he knew.
"Animus" He said. Introducing himself and removing his cloak and mouth cloth "You killed the Lylek close to my downed ship right?" Animus asked checking if his assumptions of her being the light he saw before he turned around. "Those things are everywhere, [member="Ultimatum"] Glad to see you are here too. Please tell me you have a plan" Animus looked at Ultimatum Imploringly.

Damien realized he had been ignored, and so decided to keep quiet for a while. Glancing down his body he stared at the X-1 Inquisitor Armor that he had recently painted a deep scarlet red. Though it held many scratches or dents, Damien knew it was a suit ready to take damn near anything.

Over this, recently patched back together, was his massive Warden Cloak. Why he had worn it while on a mission that would likely not involve Lightsaber users, he was unsure. Maybe because it had become a necessary portion of his battle gear. Who knows.

Glancing to his side, he realized he was sensing an adequate portion of light side energy. It was a woman that had stepped forward to shake a fellow darksiders hand, though she seemed so out of place amongst many of his own kind.

Walking closer, he nodded to the woman, "This has to be weird for you." He said.

[member="Ultimatum"] [member="Nefertari Sovint"]

Ultimatum looked around, there was quite a gathering now, he noticed that [member="Amadea Navlen"] had spoken to him and he turned his attention to her. She was a miraluka, if he wasn't mistaken. "It was an electric interference I think. Maybe a storm, maybe an explosion, or possibly a random happening." He looked down at the device in his hands. Then he looked up, "Its a flight recorder, I was hoping to get more information on the phenomenon... That was until I noticed that everyone else was here. That means it isn't an isolated event." Or at least he assumed that it meant it wasn't an isolated event.

He took a few steps off the ship and looked around. He noticed that the temperature was fairly low. He looked at some saved information on Ryloth. The calendar showed that they were coming into a winter portion of the planet's year. Further there had been an increase in pirate activity on planet. This was likely to mean that the danger was becoming more and more relevant. As the temperature lowered, this would happen slowly over days, Ultimatum's ability to function would degrade. Then there was the danger of pirates. That didn't need explaining.

He then heard [member="Animus Malgus"] speak. Ah, good to see at least one recognizable face. Ultimatum replied quickly, "I believe we should make out way to the twilight zone." What Ultimatum didn't realize, but anyone who had studied Rylothian astronomy could, was that their current position was almost perfectly in the middle of the Nightlands. This would mean that even if they traveled at full speed in any direction it would take probably weeks to get to where the twilight zone.

Ultimatum did have an extra thought and he spoke, "If possible I could also use components of ship's communication arrays, I could get a message off planet and maybe call for some transport."

Animus nodded as he heard Ultimatum speak, something told Animus the Machine knew a lot more about our situation that he let on, but he shrugged it off, a chance to stretch his legs, Kill some monsters and make new allies, what a beautiful day.
When Ultimatum said he could use a ship's Long Distance Comms he Shook his head,

"My ship is beyond use, Both the Ultracom and the Engine is severely damaged. " Animus said Glancing at [member="Damien Daemon"] wondering because of his Tinkering if maybe he could give the Ships' comms a fixer upper. "And even if it did work, the Electrical Field that brought us down here will most likely interfere with communications off world not even my local wrist com is working properly, and i know it's not because it took any damage"

Animus was an oblivious fellow sometimes, he did not notice a lot of things when focused on a task at hand. Multitasking was not one of his specialties. One he noticed [member="Lord Sabastian"] he quickly Bowed in respect "Master" Raised from his bow quickly. Now he felt relaxed a bit more, the master was one of the most powerful sith he knew.
It would take something quite extraordinary to challenge this rag tag bunch of... what was that? That... Feeling? Like the Force lighted a Beacon. @Braith

"This has to be weird for you." said a man with a presence of the dark side
"Not entirely. My little sister was once known as Darth Senet."

"If possible I could also use components of ship's communication arrays...
"You may use the communications from my ship, although you would need to wait for the storm to let up to get a signal."

For now, Nefertari would stay with this group.
Animus bowed to somebody who was probably on a similar level of skill as the Jedi, and referred to him as "Master"

This Sith Knight looked like he could put up a good fight, and yet there was something deeper behind that mask of dark side energy.

Indeed, something deeper. Nef felt that way about Animus; what a certain subspace DJ might describe as an "Uki-Uki-Waku-Waku Feeling"

Nefertari shook her head. No, that was not possible. He was a Sith, she a Jedi. Gherron went into exile, but the noblewoman still loved the man.
Not again...my head is swimming with thoughts now. She thought

For now, the lady would stay with the group. After they got out of this, she planned to go home to Chandrila. She needed some time away from this all, and her home was the perfect place to be for that.

[member="Animus Malgus"], [member="Ultimatum"], [member="Damien Daemon"], [member="Lord Sabastian"], [member="Amadea Navlen"], [member="T'zanith Zebron"], [member="Jordan Achilles"], [member="Braith"], [member="Snowflake"], [member="Darth Raijin"]

He hadn't thought of that, it was a stupid oversight on Ultimatum's part. How could he have possibly forgotten the disturbance. It wasn't like all of them had come into the system at the same time, it must have been a constant force, or otherwise a slow moving wave. Which was it? If constant then it would be difficult to tell when or if it would disperse. If it was a wave then it was possible that it had already dissipated. The downside was he couldn't tell and probably wouldn't be able to till he had the parts to send a message.

It wouldn't help. The little device he had pulled was of no use now, except for later examination. What he should have done, but didn't think to do was to simply download all the information from the 'black box' and saved it then tossed the device. As it was, he kept it with him and began moving through the ship's remains. He found the most crumpled area had housed the communications array, and now he knew that it would be awhile before he had any parts assembled. It was unlikely that anyone's ship's array had survived the damage completely, which would mean that it would be a long process if ever completed. He stood and spoke over the crowd.

"Pardon me Everyone! If I may have your attention, I believe that we should begin heading out. The longer we stay here the lower our chances of survival become. Does anyone have an idea of which direction to head in for the twilight zone?"

[member="Nefertari Sovint"] [member="Animus Malgus"] [member="Damien Daemon"] [member="Braith"] [member="Amadea Navlen"] [member="Jordan Achilles"] [member="Lord Sabastian"] [member="Snowflake"]

Raijin had spent most of this time cleaning (or attempting to clean) the lylek scraps off his ship. The sudden crowd only a few meters away from him took him by surprise. And then he heard a droid's voice say something about the twilight zone. Interesting. He walked towards the group, a little bit taken aback by all the Force signatures, and he dropped one hand to grip the hilt of his lightsaber just in case.

"Did you all... crash here? Wow."

The Shard looked around the group, recognizing somebody he thought was [member='Nefertari Sovint']. He didn't say anything about that yet, though, instead looking at the droid and pointing towards the direction his ship was in.

"I think the twilight zone's that way. Dunno if I can trust my ship's computer after all that, though."

[member='Braith'] [member=Ultimatum'] [member='Animus Malgus'] [member='Damien Daemon'] [member='Amadea Navlen']

Animus noticed the shard and nodded at his assessment, still finding it hard to not glance at the direction of the Jedi Knight [member="Nefertari Sovint"]
Animus was brave enough to Slice a Lylek in half but when it came time to break the ice with a girl he considered attractive and was not a slave girl, he found his tongue tied in more knots than a Bantha Pack.
"I agree, but may i suggest we split and get to vantage points to survey the area, that way we will have a better idea where we are heading, there might be Twi'leks around, some Sentient intelligent creatures perhaps... they could be friendly or hostile. At this point there is little choice. "
Animus then considered his knowledge of Ryloth a bit more and bit his lower lip in worry. "Or a gang of Gutkurr..." Animus said in a low tone indicating he was indeed worried. A lylek was one thing, they rarely fought in packs, the ones he had fought were most likely mates, so it was a rare occurrence and facing down a single Lylek although dangerous, not too daunting of a task. But a Stampede of Vicious Starving Gutkurr had little counter strategy other than running.
Their hides could resist blaster shots, and seemingly defying the laws of gravity their size did not hinder their incredible speed and ferocity. "Everyone needs to do a weapons check, if we head out there... might as well be armed to the teeth" [member="Darth Raijin"] [member=Ultimatum"] [member="Damien Daemon"] [member="Nefertari Sovint"]

Damien stood silent with his arms folded, his eyes closed and his thoughts elsewhere. Flying through the darkness swiftly, he jettisoned towards the direction the being had spoken of. Along the way were many evil creatures, all seemingly deadly yet unable to touch his Force Shadow.

Before long however, light could definitely be seen in the distance. Quickly returning to his body, Damien spoke up, "He is right. That way is indeed the twilight zone. However, along the way are a great deal of threats. We need to be on our guards. I also agree that a weapons check is in order."

[member="Ultimatum"] [member="Animus Malgus"] [member="Darth Raijin"]

Ultimatum responded quickly, "Good. Then we move out in ten minutes. Everyone check your gear don't know how long it will be before we get supplies." He moved back to his ship and moved to the area that he remembered the small cargo container being. He searched it for a moment, feeling for the case. He stood defeated, somewhat annoyed that it wasn't there. He looked around and noted the black case that he was looking for. A sigh or relief escaped him. He hadn't lost it, that was good. It had taken quite some work to have this built. Some might have seen it as a trivial task, but LOOM was still new at production of weaponry and thus this silenced sniper rifle, concealed in a scanner proof case was the sign of a new era for them.

He held the case in his left arm, knowing that if trouble should arise it would take a thirty seconds to reconstruct the rifle and fire a shot. From there it would be another minute before he could fire, so that the silencer could cool off. Known as the Divider Ultimatum had used it only during tests. It had been quite effective when used for stealth based attacks. Ultimatum wondered if such were even a possibility, what with the wildlife being more adapted to this that he was.

The ten minutes would still be some time during which others probably had their thoughts and concerned, but Ultimatum wasn't concerned though he would have been interested to hear what they thought of the situation.

Braith's eyes darted from [member="Darth Raijin"] to [member=T'zanith Zebron] and then over towards [member="Ultimatum"]'s wreckage. It was clear that the group which had congregated was here because of some form of ion storm, which had obviously caused them all to crash - almost to humorous effect at that - and it seemed apparent to the goddess that these mortals were both confused and rather lost. Of course, Braith wasn't quite familiar with the planet, either, but she was most certainly more suited for survival on a planet's surface that lacked sunlight - about as capable as one of them might have been if they had arrived on the brighter side of the planet, assuming they were as capable as she was in any capacity of the word. "The Twi'leks live under the surface of the planet, in the safest portions of the planet - you will not find them wandering in this darkness, nor any other kind or gentle sentient life. Ryloth is a planet of predators, apex predators whom would stop at nothing to kill and devour." Braith spoke up, directing her words to [member="Animus Malgus"] as he mentioned something about scouting for help. But, being that she had been provided with instruction on how to get off-world, she nodded in agreement with the supposed direction towards which the Twilight region dwelt. While the others seemed preoccupied preparing any weapons they could find in their respective wrecks, Braith was more interested in searching out the nearby surrounding area through the force for the presence of any would-be predators. A disgruntled sigh revealed that, indeed, there were many creatures lurking, lying in wait for their impending arrival. "It would probably be best if everyone remained on their guard - the creatures of Ryloth are not likely to be put down by a single shot to the skull." She commented while rubbing the backs of her hands - both of which would be her only weapons on this little journey.

Lord Sabastian looked over at the Jedi present. He could feel her hesitation and possible fear and it was platible. but he had no intentions of killing [member="Nefertari Sovint"]. While he was one of the more...darker Siths, he was not irrational. "I came here on my own accord, what storm are you speaking of?" He ten looked to the two Sith present, [member="T'Zanith Zabron"] and [member="Animus Malgus"] he nodded slightly at the bow in return.

He noticed a droid...maybe a shard? He actually had no experience with shards, but was researching the concept to make something for his daughter, but that was a different story. Needless to say he was indeed interested in this being.[member="Ultimatum"] He then noticed [member="Braith"] which it was now his turn to bow in respect, but only a head bow as full on bowing would be too much and uneeded. He honestly was drifting off on his own thoughts on what he wanted to on this planet.

Damien needed no checking, having already done so, as was to be expected of a proper warrior. This had him thinking back to his days as the First Apprentice of the Sith Empire. Voracitos had taught him so much mentally, then he used what he had known from his Mandalorian times and went to the galaxy to take on everyone.

Through out the years he had gained a heavy reputation. It took a lot to get rid of this. How could someone with such grand plans keep them in motion with everyone and they're mothers knowing who he was?

Crouching, Damien drew Tantibus from its scabbard, eyeing the blade with an interest that was hardly note worthy. The blade was sharp enough to shave with, was Alchemized to be unbreakable; there was no reason to check on it other than sheer boredom.

[member="Lord Sabastian"] [member="Ultimatum"] [member="Braith"]

Animus eyed the blade is came out of it's scabbard. [member="Damien Daemon"] He clicked his tongue in obvious admiration, "That is one beautiful blade" he whistled to it as if it was a dancer. "Remind me never to be at the wrong end of it" Animus said with a chuckle extending his hand "Animus" He said introducing himself, trying to make up for his lack of Courtesy.

Damien smiled, "I wouldn't get that close. It has more in its metals than you would think." Having been the crafted and sole user of the blade he was by far used to the powerful Force Fear effect that emanated from the blade. It had enough power to effect Jedi Masters adequately.

But he was a courteous man, so he shook the hand as it was extended, "Daemos." When it was released he brought his hand back examining the massive blade. Many had said it was ridiculous to have a blade so long and heavy in a universe mainly ran with light sabers and vibroblades.

Yet it was still in use. As well it would be for a time longer.

One day though he would find its next Master and bestow the gift.

Fear, Sabastian's ally and confident had made itself present. The hair on his skin began to stand at attention and his heart began to race at the power the sword held. Lord Sabastian was training to withstand force fear since he never wanted his own ally used against him, but the power in this sword was unreal. As the two talked, Sabastian clicked his cane in the ground a few times and looked over at the mysterious man, "If we are to survive this encounter it is wise you do not release alchemzed power or any power at this moment." He was not intirely sure how this power was created, but it had began upon drawing the sword and he understood the basics of alchemy to know how it was possible.

She held the collar of her jacket closer as a cold wind swept through. Her breaths were slow and deliberate, and she felt a strange sensation of forboding. Adjusting the area of focus her vision landed on three beings nearby making small talk while one of them displayed a metal blade. Ah, there it was. Amadea noticed a keen glow emanating from the sword. Sith alchemy. Well crafted, along with the imbued fear, Amadea braced for another chilly breeze. I better keep my distance. I have enough to worry about without that petty tool influencing me. Without moving her head she examined the three more closely. All ablaze...the one more than the others. What is he...ah, a knight. The other a--Gah! She bit her lip and waited for the pain to subside, Blasted shoulder... She sighed. A knight, an acolyte, and this...other signature. He had the burning of the Dark Side yet not as blatant as a pure Sith devotee. Whatever he sided with, it was not enough to pique Amadea's curiosity any further. What had come to her interest, though, was the woman who had walked up to the droid's ship. Bearing a muted version of the brilliant aura she viewed before was something of a spectacle to Amadea, yet she refrained from studying her as it was not the time. They were getting ready to head to the twilight zone, and Amadea would need to keep stringent focus on the environment ahead of her...and the individuals she trekked with.

Despite her appearance she kept eye contact with her new found companions, using any unease to her advantage. As she glanced from one being to another she wondered if it was a simple coincidence that most of them had crashed here. Why Ryloth? And why were there so many force-users present? She pondered these and other questions, finally setting them aside to think on later.

Flipping the blade through the air, he listened the hollow whistle for a moment then using the Force he launched the scabbard into the air. Having planned the course for the blade, he was pleased to see the cover slide into place along the Impervium as it was driven downward.

With the tip of his sheathed blade digging downward, he yawned, "Who else is growing board?"

Animus chuckled as he followed this new warrior "I'm in, let's go" Animus walked behind him silently, awaiting the inevitable he quickly mooved along the hills with his Monoculars eyeing the horizon as he tried to get a bead on the surroundings,

"Anyone else coming?" Animus added as he followed the warrior, truly he wanted to get off this planet, Ryloth was enough to kill a man, but the Dark side of Ryloth was much worse, He noticed at the distance a pack of running Gutkurrs, too small to be a stampede of the sorts, but if they were close a larger back must not be far behind. "I suggest we get moving before something sets eyes on us" Animus said packing his water canteens and Skin sack water canteen and checked his blades, a lightsaber he refused to use until the time came or unless he had no other choice, and his blaster.
