Khaldun had been searching the galaxy for events that had pasted since his sleep. While searching he found mentions of malachor v he'd remember an academy on the planet. His father never had the power to gain his entry in the academy there it mostly only excepted the elite. His interest peaked khaldun he dived into more research it seemed after the jedi civil war the planet was mostly destroyed. There is no data about if the academy was destroy or not. What little data he could scrap together said the planet still had small pockets of life. A small pang in the back of his mind told him to go it was like a subtle urge.

It took days to prepare the planet was likely to have little to no breathable so khaldun had supplies bought. The urge grew more over the days also like something was waiting for him there but he wasn't sure why. Everything prepped he launched into space and jump into hyperspace eager to get there.

The ship was exiting hyperspace, it had taken a two days to reach the planet if you could call it that. Malachor was barely held together but its gravity field was strong enough to keep it together. scans shone that it held life like the reports but how was beyond Khaldun's imagination. The planet was barren no life would ever grow here; from space he could feel the darkside this place was a wellspring of it. If Khaldun had any doubt it was pushed away for now. He was about began his decent to the planet when his scanners lit up, ship's of unknown origin came from the planet in attack formation. His tie wouldn't last long alone in fighter combat he broke off from their vector making for the planet; the ships followed in pursuit firing on him. Halfway in the atmosphere they hit his ship with their fire indicators were lighting up he was in for a nasty landing, the fighters broke off going back to where ever they came from. He spoted a mostly open plot of land he veered the ship the best he could before losing control ,the ship came crashing down as khaldun lost conciseness.
