Once thought of only as a legend and a rumor to scare the wookie young paws into staying away from the forest floor and the shadow lands, it has come to light that it is real. The Traveler had spent many months pouring over scrolls and countless credits to gather the information that he needed to confront the monstrosity. If the legend was to be taken as true it is a creature of unbridled size and power compared to its lesser kin.

The Traveler had assembled his apprentices and those daring enough to go with him into one of the most dangerous places in the Galaxy. The uncharted floors of the Wookie planet, the deepest and darkest pits of dispair and danger. Behind every leaf a monster and beneath every branch a viper of horrid poison. Undaunted by the task before him The Traveler had set their meeting place in the wookie village of Rerrbark, one of the few villages that had an alliance with the sith and more importantly the chieften was an old friend of The Traveler.

Standing in the central platform the Traveler barked orders to the mercenary and sith troopers that he had brought with him. Mere fodder to be expended much like his apprentices and the other sith who would choose to accompany him on this daring mission. For The Behemoth who once slumbered in the shadow of giants had awoken, and it was hungry.

Urak

Umbra Bellator|Sith Assassin
The planet of Kashyyyk, the first time Urak had been to the lush, Wookie homeworld. He had heard much about it, but mainly things he typically overlooked, as he had no interest in it. This time was different, he had come with his teacher, and a few other Sith to hunt down the legendary Terentatek. A huge, dangerous beast that could defeat even the most powerful Sith if they were foolish enough to not give it their all.

Urak stepped out of the Daisya Infiltrator, into the Wookie village of Rerrbark. It was what one would expect of this culture. There were wookies moving to and fro, and the air smelled of not just wookie, but other strange smells he could not quite guess. "So this is Kashyyyk? It is less than i expected...but i guess i shouldn't have had higher expectations anyways." He sneered.

The Sith that had come with them weren't particularly experienced, but neither was he when it came to hunting, especially one of this caliber. He walked over to his teacher, [member="The Traveler"], and sat down on a stump, while looking around at the area near them. "So how powerful is this beast, exactly? I have heard rumors, but you can't exactly trust rumors." He asked, while turning his head to watch the Sith Troopers unload and prepare everything for the trek. "Hopefully strong enough to have some fun, while we are at it. I'd hate for it to be a drag.." He finished and then finally resting his gaze upon his teacher.

Atrace

Self Proclaimed Sith Elite
Atrace slowly stepped out of the Daisya Infiltrator, he took a whiff of the air. "this place smells horrendous! What does that leviathan eat?" He would quickly check his person making sure he had the proper equiptment.

He looked around the wookie city, he was exasperated by the sights of the city l, the wookies sure did smell but they did know how to build a unique civilization. he would walk towards his master .

He would walk towards his master asking the very simple question. "Where is the beast and how can we kill it"

"The first mistake of many Sith is to underestimate their foes. This beast will be more than a handful for Lords, and we're probably cannon fodder. If you're not careful, you won't make it back." Fortuna stepped out behind [member="Darth Urak"] , both arms low at her side. Behind her, as always, the spear Vrasjyme floated close. The young Sith was here for the same reason as the rest. To prove herself. Unlike the others though, [member="The Traveler"] was not her master. A frown formed over her lips as she looked over to [member="Darth Atrace"] as well as the other boy. She was rather alone so to speak, given the current relationships. Ah well.

Her red eyes glanced over to the Wookies. They were interesting, being huge yet peaceful beasts. But they avoided the Sith. Not that Fortuna blamed them. They were outsiders, perhaps even enemies. Not that it mattered now. She was here with the others to simply kill the beast. Like the others, she wanted nothing more than to begin the hunt and fight this monster. What better way to test herself?

Vega pivoted on her heels, amethyst hues taking in the scenery which surrounded the small handful of Sith. Until now, Kashyyyk had been but a thought. A fragment in her mind which held no image. Not once had Vega trod among the soil of the Wookie world; she didn't expect she'd be challenging a gargantuan beast the first time she did, either. But orders were orders; training was training. The confidence in her master and fellow brethren accompanying burned bright. If they were to to against the creature, at least they were going together. She could feel the level of force residing within all of them. It felt eager. Strong. Together they should have struggled, but resulted to overcoming the great monster.

Her physique lingered alongside her master. Her eyes still flickered over the area, making sure she could at least familiarise herself with the area should they have to part ways and regroup. A minute passed and Vega came to acknowledge what she had to. Now it was all a matter of waiting. Waiting for them to instigate their journey towards challenging the supposed beast. She had what she needed with her; there was no excuse for her to return to her ship for anything else.

The time had come. The great hunt was here. Crentice made sure he was well prepared for this occurrence, checking all of his gear and that sort. He piloted his star fighter to the wookie home planet of Kashyyk as soon as he got word from [member="The Traveler"] that it was time to move out on this operation. Crentice had never been to this planet before, and for that matter, not even close to it in this part of the galaxy. He didn't know what exactly to expect, but regardless he knew he and the rest of this party could kill the vile beast.

Crentice's star fighter flew into the atmosphere of the planet. "This place doesn't look that bad." Crentice mumbled to himself. But he knew of the dangers that lie in wait for him. He flew towards the wookie village of Rerrbark, where he had seen another ship landed. Crentice didn't know [member="Darth Atrace"] had such a fancy ship. But that was the least important thing here now. Crentice landed his fighter relatively close by. The door slid open and Crentice leaped out of his ship. He seen the wookies walking about, and was surprised as they were bigger than he had anticipated.

Crentice went over to the group of sith that had already arrived. Noting not everyone is here yet. "This place looks better than I had anticipated. However, with these better looks, the more there will be to deal with beyond that forest line." His distorted voice said. He stood with the rest of the group, waiting on the other sith to arrive so they begin their journey.

Atrace

Self Proclaimed Sith Elite
Atrace sat on the ground waiting for instructions as he noticed three new faces approaching him from different directions, he would not perceive the approaching ones as threats, he sensed. a plethora of dark energy being emitted from them all. he would stand, turning to face [member="Fortuna"] "Ah! it's you! from the training, nice to see you again on the horrendous planet the wookies call home *he chuckled* but in all seriousness you watch my back we will watch your's" He would look to [member="Darth Urak"] nodding his head waiting to see if he would aswell.

he would then notice a somewhat familiar face approaching [member="Vega the Chaos Mage"] he would approach his fellow apprentice trying to get some insight on their mission, after all she was indeed the travelers first apprentice that he knew of. "Vega!" He would yell trying to get her attention "What exactly are we hunting, do you know how powerful it is what attacks we could expect? I don't like going into battle without knowing atleast a little background on my target you know?"

He would wait for her response while looking over towards at [member="Crentice"] watching the acolyte whom had claimed to be his long lost brother approach. he would give the acolyte a look of concorn as he motioned for the acolyte to come to him.

Crentice was walking around the general area of where the sith were gathered, while waiting on the hunt to begin. He kept to himself mostly, while simply observing the others in the area. He seen [member="Darth Atrace"] motion him to come over to his location. Crentice wondered what he wanted so he approached his brother. He looked around at the planet's appearance. Sometimes he noticed movements in the forest. Crentice blew it of as nothing.

"You beckoned for me?" Crentice asked Atrace. He thought that maybe, just maybe Atrace had actually thought about the possibility of Crentice being his long lost brother. And since he found Atrace, he knew [member="Darth Urak"] couldn't be far away. Perhaps he even might be on this planet as one of those among us. Or has he even told Urak about this situation. Even so, he was curious as to when everyone would arrive so they may begin.

Fortuna said:
"The first mistake of many Sith is to underestimate their foes. This beast will be more than a handful for Lords, and we're probably cannon fodder. If you're not careful, you won't make it back."

The Traveler had finished most of his preliminary barking of orders in time for the throng of Acolytes and his own to show up. He turned towards the female, he wasn't overly familiar with her but none the less she brought up a fairly decent point. It was true that each and every person minus himself were expendable assets in this mission and their survival was not guaranteed. Yet he was no sith Lord, once but he was something entirely different with his own codes and end goals that simply coincided with his former peers for the time being.
[member="Fortuna"] His voice modulator crackled as he spoke " while it is true you are an asset that i have no problem expending for the success of our mission, i do not intend to expend you nor any of those of your brethren lightly. Sith think in such absolute terms of loss and usage. To lose an asset so early that could prove useful in future or that you could make a lasting alliance with in their infancy is not something you should over look young one. Those around you now can be your greatest enemy or your greatest ally tommorrow or both. Strengthen bonds now, forge chains that bind them to you and save them for when it matters most." his modulator dulled into a raspy tone " And keep the events of today hidden from your master, for I Intend to help you all forge something greater after these events that will help guide you to power over them".

[member="Darth Urak"] " The Behemoth Shadow is of the stock of the first Terentatek and has only rested lightly, it has feasted for millennia growing strong. It is enough of an indicator that i have brought help outside of my three students to show you the answer. Survivng the journey to its lair is a feat in and of it self" the coldness had returned to his voice modulator.

The Traveler began to walk around his apprentices and the assembled acololytes he had commendered this this assignment. He reached out towards Atraces saber and gently tugging making sure that it was secured properly. Why the brothers had proven to be worthy students they were still green and far to eager to meet their death in the bowels of the beast.
" Deep within the depths of the darkness of the floor my eager student. Look towards your comrades and prepare yourselves, Kashyyk is a dangerous of a world. Matched and superceded by only D'Xun and a few other hell worlds. Do not allow your hubris to endanger us, humility why not emphasized by the sith serves us well".

[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"] " When we move through the shadows of the forest floor, you will be our rear escort. Five mercenaries shall assist you, you will be our eyes and our eyes. Do not disappoint me" he started to move towards the ramp that would lead them down and stopped [member="Crentice"] made his remarks to himself " You will be the first to be tested then, there are monstrosities here that even i do not wish to contend with. Never forget your own standings and the abilities of the force, little outside of your own mind is without notice of others who have learned to listen"

" Make your preparations, if you have not eatten i would suggest you eat why you can. When we hit the floor we shall not stop until we have claimed our prize"

Atrace looked to [member="Crentice"] "if you truly are my brother don't die!" He would give the acolytes shoulder a tight grip before turning away. he walked towards the Daisya Infiltrator seeking some light rations for the journey.

The Daisya was plenty big for Urak, Taris, and Atrace but it still wasnt by any means the largest ship, he would grab his food before walking back to [member="Taris"] [member="Darth Urak"] he would then eat his rations preparing for the long day they had before them.

His lightsaber was particularly angsty today he could hear the entity trapped within his Dark'chyld crystal screaming in his head, it had a bad feeling which made Atrace uneasy but he had complete faith in his teacher [member="The Traveler"] and [member="Fortuna"] and the others. He would try to console the spirit in his lightsaber telling it "don't worry too much my friend we will be fine, just imagine the glory of killing the beast!" after a few minutes the saber began to calm itself which gave Atrace a feeling of relief.

((just to clear things up about the lightsaber thing, when I was an acolyte as a reward for helping in the invasion of empress teta Atrace and Urak were given a sentient lightsaber crystal that could give him advice from Darth praelior))

Urak

Umbra Bellator|Sith Assassin
Finally! a chance to test out his abilities. Urak had thought as he heard about this beast they would be hunting. What good is the beast's strength if he could not see his prey? Force Cloak, taught to Urak by a Sith a while ago, he had plans to use this technique finally, and against a worthy foe. Urak shot up--with determination, ready to get on with the hunt. His gear was all ready, his Dark'Chyld saber also attempting to get him in the spirits for Rage.

He had not yet controlled his entity. It was a strong-willed one. Though it was not as strong as Urak's resolve--as it had not yet broken him, in fact, it was starting to succumb to his will, and his inner rage--not the blind rage filled within it. Urak knew it would fully bend to his will eventually, as it only cared for self-preservation, and it was bound to him. A true Sith, he had always thought.

"Well, let's get this show on the road." shifting his head towards his brother, he continued. "I guess this will be some fight. Just like on Teta!" He joked.

Gripping the hilt on his saber, to forcefully shut up his Dark'Chyld, he walked over to the troops and waved them at attention. "Today many of you will die." He paused for a moment, then continued. "But there is glory to be had. This beast, if we slay it, shall put our names in the history holograms. Fight with honor, help out your brothers, and you may make it out alive, but without teamwork, we all shall die." After finishing, he gave a salute, to get them organized to move out.

Urak finally moved off to the road, stopping to wait for his allies, while pulling out some bread to eat on the way. Well, this is it--Hopefully we can get to the beast without losing many troops.. was his final thought as he stared out into the road ahead.

Crentice listened to [member="The Traveler"] and the speech he gave. He thought to himself that he would most likely be the one who would do most of the combat, as the other acolytes already had some different combat experience behind them. Since he had only a small degree of experience compared to them, he had to rely on natural talant. He didn't know what was out there.

When [member="Darth Atrace"] confided those words to him, Crentice gave a slight nod, and approached his star fighter and grabbed some provisions to eat for the time being. Crentice sat down on his legs and ate quickly in haste. He needed food to survive, following an ancient saying that someone can't fight on an empty stomach. When he finished eating, he secured his vibro blades on his back, so they couldn't just be stolen at a completely random time. "Alright, I am ready to take on this journey to wipe out this beast." Crentice stood up and joined in with the rest of the group. Crentice inhaled a breath of air and let the force flow through him.

Vega prolonged her silence throughout the duration of her master's audibility. Once his words involved her, she dipped her head in acknowledgement and added, "Of course, ma- teacher." Oops. She recalled his speech about not being referred to by the title 'master'. Perhaps he changed his mind now there was more of them? The Sith failed to question him on the matter, anyway. It wasn't important; making sure she had consumed enough. That was the matter she currently fixed on. She tensed in her stomach, getting a feeling of whether or not there was more acid than food. No rumble occurred; no hint to state she desired anything for consumption. As a result, she moved off of the matter and proceeded towards the back of the group. Again her eyes rolled over the scenery while the rest of her brothers and sisters made preparations for their tasks. So, protecing the rear. She tapped down her sides; everything she could possibly need for the matter resided among her being. Now it was just a matter of waiting. Waiting for them to forth towards this targeted monstrosity to slay it down. With all these Sith - their teacher included - the odds of survival weren't in its favor.
