The Dark Heart

The cave entrance was surprisingly large. Kahlil, standing near nine feet in height, stared up at the gaping maw of the mountain curiously, the spiked finger of his gauntlet running over one of the crystal protrusions near the entrance. This wasn't one of the crystals he had heard of, but it was a good sign none the less.

Story told of naturally formed crystals tainted by the Dark, something of great interest to the young Sith Knight. He had avoided making his own lightsaber for some time, using only his spells as his defense. But that changed. He needed something more substantial then his spells. Something to fall back on. And what better to be it's heart then these crystals.

Deep within the caverns of the crystal cave system stood a solid figure undressing from dark robes of black and red color. Removing its hood and then a large crystalline mask of golden texture the figure placed the Mask on a smoky colored crystal desk. Next came the robes it adorned itself which were also placed on a crystalline pillar neatly with regard. The small room was shaped and molded excellently, Crystals radiated from every corner of the room with a shine. All of which were attuned to the darkside of the force. Bogan. But despite the aura the stayed within the room by the crystals the room itself was almost palpable with the immediate presence of the Golden textured mask. It called to those attuned to the darkside in whispers.

In appearance the mask design was grim. Featuring sharp jagged edges and a grinning visage of dread. In fact the mask almost represented that of the now ancient Dread Masters. There was something special about it but even more so was its owner. Now fully "naked" standing in the middle of the room was a native of Isis. A Gutretee. A crystalline and mineral based species shrouded in myth and legend. These days the natives were rarely seen on the surface as they favored underground caves instead to protect their resources. This specific Gutretee stood only 5 feet 11 inches and its crystalline body was composed of a dark red hue. Grabbing a primitive crystal spear the native left with a smirk departing the area that held his possessions. Once he was one meter away from the room he stopped and turned around.

A solitary hand was raised up activating a connection to his home planet. With a mild tremor thick right and left crystalline walls began to fold in sealing the room from view and blocking entrance inside. The semi-transparent crystals walls however still gave a rather blurred view to the contents inside.

Turning around with a smile the native hoisted his spear over a shoulder and slowly began to conceal his force presence as if returning to a normal life or perhaps routine.

His direction making way out of the cave toward the entrance.
