  • Image Credit: Original Image, Cropped by myself
  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: N/A
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: The Dar'ashra
  • Classification: Religious Cult, Military Force, Covert Operations
  • Affiliation: Sith Order
  • Organization Symbol: The Dar'ashra symbol is a half moon symbol, pointing down, surrounding the Sith Eternal logo.
  • Description: The Dar'ashra are a religious cult formed from scattered survivors of the fallen Sith Empire, and newly inducted adherents from the Scar Worlds. The standards held by the High Brotherhood of the Sith, a faction within the Sith Order, are kept at an extremely high level. Those Force Sensitives who fail the tests and training required to join the ranks of the High Brotherhood of the Sith are relegated instead to the Dar'ashra. Here, they are indoctrinated by priests to have a fanatic loyalty to the leader of the High Sith Empire, and given military training by elite special forces trainers. They form an elite shock trooper force within the Sith Order, relying on their Force enhanced abilities and fanatical loyalty to give them a lethal edge over contemporary foes across the galaxy. They also serve as a intelligence and covert operations group for the High Sith faction of the Sith Order, operating deep undercover across the galaxy.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Malagarr
  • Domain: WIP
  • Notable Assets: WIP
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: The Dar'ashra are commanded by the Dark Hand, the leading intelligence operative within the entire High Sith faction. The Dark Hand oversees the entire Dar'ashra organization and directs their internal and external efforts. Beneath the Hand are the Chosen, four Dar'ashra who act as the chief lieutenants within the organization. These four lieutenants are chosen by the Hand for their utter devotion to the cause of the High Sith, and their competence in achieving their goals. Beneath the Chosen are various minor officers selected on an as needed basis for individual missions or deployments.
  • Membership: Membership within the Dar'ashra comes with the express demand that one must be Force Sensitive. Beyond this up front requirement, there are two main avenues for new recruits into the ranks of the Dar'ashra. The first and least common are for students within the various High Brotherhood of the Sith academies and training institutions to fail. The standards held by the Brotherhood are strict, and any student that is seen as falling behind in their studies, ability, or training can find themselves dispatched to the Dar'ashra. The second, and far more common, is for Force Sensitives from across the Scar Worlds to be recruited with the promise of a new life. The devastation left behind by the Bryn'adul, and the refugees returning to their broken worlds, has left many in need of work and purpose. The High Sith offers those in need a chance at a new life for them and their family. The Force Sensitive is indoctrinated into the cult of the Dar'ashra, and their family becomes new citizens of the Sith Order.
  • Climate: The Dar'ashra are a fanatical, sudo military and religious cult organization. As such, complete and utter devotion to the state and cause of the Dar'ashra is demanded. Those who fail in this duty are likely to face outright execution, though less severe failings are punished through mild torture. Daily routines are strictly kept, though operatives beyond the borders of the Sith Order enjoy far greater freedoms. For this though, they are constantly kept in check by fellow Dar'ashra agents, and the slightest sign of hesitation to the cause is likely to earn that agent a bolt to the back of the head.
  • Reputation: The Dar'ashra are seen with an air of discomfort by many within the High Sith , though also a deep respect. The fanatical, unwavering devotion to the High Sith, and the undeniable importance in their tasks earns them no small amount of honors from those in power, and the greater population. However, this same fanatic devotion, and the nature of their very existence, draws a great deal of wary, uncomfortable stares from other Sith. Seen as beneath their station, many High Sith believe the Dar'ashra to be barely controlled mad dogs and failures of the Sith ways. They are a constant reminder of what failure within the High Sith Empire can spell, and their unwavering loyalty to the Dark Lady keeps many ambitious Sith in check.
  • Curios: Given the possibility of deployment undercover across the galaxy, or within the Sith Order itself, no defining symbol has been issued to the Dar'ashra. Many have adopted ritualistic tattoos of their own volition, but there is no seeming pattern or consistency across the Dar'ashra. This choice is one of the few the Dar'ashra are fully able to pick for themselves, and as such can become truly imaginative in their display. Red clothing and armor tends to be the most often chosen color for Dar'ashra warriors to wear.
  • Rules: The Dar'ashra follow three primary, and rather simple rules.
    • Loyalty to the Dark Lady: The Dar'ashra are sworn to the loyalty of the Dark Lady, or current ruling lord of the High Sith, above all else. Any rumor of dissent, or evidence of treason against the ruling monarch are to be acted upon with lethal intent. Failure to do so will end in the execution of the Dar'ashra involved.
    • Loyalty to the Cause: The Dar'ashra are sworn to follow any order given to them without question or hesitation. Failure to do so will likely end in the Dar'ashra being executed, or tortured in lesser offences.
    • Loyalty to Death: The Dar'ashra are sworn to life in service within the organization. Once they join the ranks of the Dar'ashra, they are committed to the will of the Dark Lady or ruling lord till their dying day. Any desertion is dealt with by the deployment of a capture team dispatched to retrieve the deserter. Their fate after capture is a dark, and painful one.
  • Goals: The Dar'ashra seek to further the will of the Dark Lady of the High Sith, and protect their nation against foes both foreign and domestic. They desire to establish the presence of the Empire across the Scar Worlds region of space, and defeat the enemies of the High Sith.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Dar'ashra find their origins within the Sith Empire before its fall. A small gathering of Sith apprentices and acolytes, they struck out on their own without masters to wage war against their enemies. Several hundred strong, these Sith threw themselves at the foes of the Sith Empire on countless battlefields. Battle after battle, war after war, their numbers were depleted. They took on few replacements for their ranks, for only apprentices or acolytes were allowed to join this group. The exact reason for this was lost on them all, but by then it had become a tradition. They would not waver from it, even though their lack of training and proper leadership led to constantly high casualties.

With the end of the Third Sith Civil War, and the fall of the Sith Empire, this group of young Sith fled into the eastern fringes of the galaxy. There, they continued their small crusade. Planets were raided, refugee convoys pillaged, and a short lived reign of terror descended on several star systems. It was brought to an end by a gathering of independent forces. The Sith raiders were crushed above Hast, and sent into scattered exile. These broken groups devolved into Dark Side cults spread across several worlds. They laid low, not risking drawing too much attention to them, and blending in with the refugees returning to their worlds following the collapse of the Bryn'adul.

Into this, Darth Megarea made her presence known. She tracked down these cults; scattered as they were, they still held close ties and customs with one another. Through persuasion, brute force, and other means she slowly brought these cults out of their seclusion, and under her control. She brought them to the world of Malagarr, at that time without a native population of its own, and set them to a task. Bryn'adul remnants had set up on the world, and Megarea directed these cults to engage the aliens. On the red sands of this new world, the cults fought once more against the enemies of the Sith. They took devastating losses once again as well, but in the end, they emerged victorious and united.

From these survivors, Darth Megarea formed the Dar'ashra. Sworn to her personally, the Dar'ashra would form the backbone of the new High Sith military forces on the ground. They would also fill the roll of special operations forces both within and outside the Sith Orders borders. Their loyalty is without question, and their dedication to the victory of the High Sith absolute.
