King of Shawken
The council of Ministers is the instrument from which the Enduring Throne of Shawken rules the empire. The set up of each council seat is such so that each one has different obligations to mitigate the stress of running the budding empire. Each council seat is named after which their duties relate to and are as follows along with their areas of influence.
The minister of the Grand masters
This seat is elected among the three grand masters of Shawkens force traditions. One is selected among the savants, Paladins and Knights orders grand masters and if a decision cannot be made the Enduring throne will pick amongst them as they present their cases to the throne. This seat is rotated every so often as the minister of grand masters's job is to manage the three tradition orders. The training of new members and their deployment when faced with conflict or the protection of vital assets and personnel within the the empire.
The minister of Foreign relations
This minister is faced with quite a duality of purpose while the minister first and foremost ministers the diplomatic corps of Shawken they are also the head of Shawkens Intelligence Bureau. Making sure their Intelligence agents are deployed properly and effectively utilized while also managing the counter-Intelligence of the empire as a whole. Rooting out spies and finding the threats from within the empire as well. Without a healthy dose of Paranoia one will not last long in this job.
The Minister of Civil services
The minister of civil services oversees the legislative elements as well as holds the Planetary governors answerable to their actions. With a hand in making laws and their enforcement. The facilities open to Civilians and making sure health care, education, entertainment and recreation is available and in sufficient quantity to make sure the population of not only shawken but any planet within it's borders is healthy, happy and it's planetary governors are doing their jobs correctly.
The Minister of Military operations
The minister holding this seat is the highest ranking military officer in the entire empire. His or her job is to make sure the army and navy are properly deployed to protect the empire. To make sure the military is properly supplied in both ships, supplies, armaments and armors that are up to snuff with the remainder of the galaxy. The third job of the Minister is also placing defenses for the planets within the shawken empire and to make sure these same defenses are maintained and even strengthened if possible to do so. To say the Minister of military operations is the sword and shield of the empire is quite an accurate one.
The Minister of Finance
The minister of finance is tasked with keeping trade vibrant and alive, to manage the infrastructure of the empire as a whole and to manage any contracts with any companies willing to cooperate with the Shawken empire. A fourth job for this minister is also managing a standing budget for each Ministers operations so that the Empire doesn't go bankrupt with overzealous ministers spending it's money.
The Minister of Science and Communication
The minister at this seat is tasked with not only furthering the technology employed by the empire, either for civilian or military use, and to make sure all communication within the empire goes smoothly. The development of ciphers to protect the communications within the military as well as to make sure the communications within the civilian population is open and not disrupted.
