The corellian flirt

"Alright, alright, i'll get the money to ya soon. No sweat, Keegs." A muffled alien language could be heard from anyone nearby in the bar. "Yeah, of course, tomorrow. You got it." As soon as he shut the communicator off, Balkar laughed to himself. "Right. Two million by tomorrow. The guy's crazy!" Taking a sip of corellian ale, he leaned back in his booth and waved a server droid over for another round. drinks were among the only debts he ever paid back. And even that was on a good day. What, a man couldn't enjoy the pleasure of free ale once in a while?

It still surprised her at times how different other planets were from Eshan. This bar was quite a good example of that fact. Gamblining drinking and in fighting was all she really saw. Where others put down their favor in this situation Marona kept hers up, hearing the world around her, it was simply her instinct.

And the rather careless man she was overhearing? Perfect example of the opposite.

Geez... it had been such a long day.

Leaning back in his booth, Balkar couldn't help but notice a rather interesting looking girl walk into the bar. Raising an eyebrow, he put on his most charming smile and walked over to her. "Say, you look lost. Could I buy you a drink, love?" He gestured to the bar, where he could just feel the bartender's eyes boring into him. He knew there'd be trouble, but hey, cute girls. An offer he just couldn't turn down.

And now the same careless man was trying to make a move.... annoying.

"I know where I am"

With a brief sigh of annoyance she brought more of her focus to bear towards him, typical flirt wasn't he? Least.... that's what she gauged so far.

"Feel free"

Their wasn't much harm in letting the man have his fun, if he got out of hand she felt she could handle the situation as is.

He didn't need a second invitation. Glancing over to the bar, he didn't even get a word out before the man behind the counter shook his head, saying something about him owing a 'substantial' tab as it was. "Oh, come on, it's happy hour. Be happy!" The bartender sighed softly and handed him a light drink, which Balkar promptly handed to the girl in front of him. "There ya go, sweetness."

"Thanks"

She took the drink in her hands, briefly looking the beverage, eying for some sort of affliction in it. It was doubtful considering the source of the drink didn't seem to like the man to much as is... but still.

Finally she began taking a couple sips, slowly drinking the beverage. Upon finishing it she placed the glass back down, turning to face the overtly in debt man.

"So.... I'm guesing in there's not a real reason for buying me a drink, is there?"

The words came with a second sigh.

Men... sheesh.

Balkar shrugged at the question, not showing much of a care on his face. "Didn't know I needed a reason to buy a pretty girl a drink. I mean, you are very pretty. And I'm totally not hitting on you. Am I right?" He grinned then, taking a sip of his own drink while he waited for an answer. She was playing hard to get, and he loved it when they did that. It always made things so much more fun.

"Sure you arnt"

The Echani gave a simple roll of her eyes at the guys antics-clearly he was trying to get something out of her, but yeah.... his type didn't exactly peek her interest.

"Well you bought a drink.... I suppose I owe you a talk then"

Let it never be said this echani didn't pay her debts, even with the bothersome ones.
