The Comeback Kid

Kiskla would be compassionate, but she would not treat her differently. [member="Aaralyn Rekali"] was her friend, but she had changed. She had been lost on Empress Teta, but like all prodigal children, she returned home.

Good thing she was such a daddy's girl.

I've got something of yours. Was all the message to Rekali read. On Ruusan, finding Kiskla wasn't difficult. She was an approachable sort, and oft' found either in the training rooms or the peak of the temple, overlooking the sprawling forests in meditation. There was something on her mind these days, something about a radial kaizen plan for the Jedi Order.

Today, it'd be the latter.

The message would be received and within the hour she would appear before the Grandmaster.

She would wait patiently for acknowledgement, her hands clasped behind her back as she watched the blonde Kiffar meditate, Aaralyn's amber gaze would stare into the distance with no real particular thought in mind.

Finally, out of politeness and respect, she spoke up.

"You summoned me Grandmaster?"

[member="Kiskla Grayson"]

She stood, long legs stretching as she turned around to greet her friend. A leather roll was in her grasp and within it were neatly tucked two metal, cylindrical hilts. [member="Aaralyn Rekali"] didn't look different, but she felt different. Her aura was more placid, and not as tumultuous as the woman had been prior to the events on Teta. Kiskla veiled her concerned frown, and took a step forward, still clutching the leather wrapping.

"You've been through a lot, I understand. How are you?"

Aaralyn raised an eyebrow, she could sense something amiss in the conversation but couldn't quite place exactly what it was. She merely nodded and motioned with a hand, unclasping it from the other to do so. "I believe I'm alright, I can't really say otherwise. I've been told I've lost my edge." She chuckled softly and moved next to Kiskla and motioned towards the horizon. "But I believe that has yet to be seen, in all honest Grandmaster." She shrugged lightly. "I remember everything from Isolda but nothing before a certain point." She looked to [member="Kiskla Grayson"] and nodded. "You and a select few others, certain memories. A sense of determination and perhaps underlining anger." She again shrugged and looked away.

Kiskla nodded. "I've a feeling an opportunity to prove your edge is closer than we'd like to think. Don't get too comfortable in your presumed dullness." She simpered pleasantly, but continued the conversation. "These are yours. They'll help keep you sharp." With that, the arm that had been resting at her hip lifted to display the leather wrappings around the two silver hilts that belonged to [member="Aaralyn Rekali"]. As if on cue, the leather string that had wrapped around the fold uncoiled and slipped slightly, to give a better visual of the weapons blanketed beneath.

"From within the Sith Ranks, did you find anything of use to help our advancement in this war?"
