The cloak of [member="Tabigarashu Madara"] was a Life Day gift given in 851ABY by the young Sith Sorcerer's Apprentice, [member="Micah"] tol Powl. The two had met during a course of study in Sith Alchemy and alchemical procedure that had been hosted by [member="Taeli Raaf"], becoming study partners as the difficulty of the material increased over time.
For this piece, Micah wanted something that made a bold statement whilst also being practical. Whether a cloak is ever practical for a mouse is a different matter. Toumon wool has long been viewed as desirable for the Sith, being the material used in the construction of Darth Sidious' robe. Norris root dyes impart a layer of plasma resistance while adding no weight to the finished product, with several applications in order to achieve the desired dark color that is more black than red. A spider silk lining adds grandeur with its slightly bio-luminescent field, while adding additional resistance to blaster strikes and vibroblades.
The inclusion of a miniaturized code cylinder allows for Hirou to carry his identicard credentials with him without need for additional pocket space, while the hands-free clasps were made of small bits of flex-bronze that were lightly alchemized so that contact would impart the enchantment of Comprehend Speech. This would make the Nezumi an even more capable study partner for the future.
