He looked at his ship. It was definitely not in the best state at that moment, especially considering how he was running out of fuel and energy to keep up running. After all, he'd been continuously traveling for the last few years. There was nothing that seemed to be able to change it, neither did there seem to be a chance of a break. The chaser was always behind him, he could only spend a few moments in most of the places he went to.
He made a small calculation. According to that, he had about fourteen hours to find everything he needed, hang a little bit and relax, and then prepare to run away once again.
Sometimes he had the question -- why the hell didn't he use the bonus time he had at times to get ahead of the chaser? And he had formed and answer to that, through more and more calculations. As it turned out, he would never be able to keep running for so long without resting for a while. Every five days, he required a longer time away, the best option would have been getting to relax for at least a day.
This time, he had about half a day to spend.
Would it be an awesome day or not, he had no idea. But he didn't even care about that. All these simple times on the planets he visited were nothing to his eyes, nothing to the way his mind worked. There was nothing bad about that, he guessed. Just... he didn't quite enjoy every single moment of his life.
Just like the majority of people.
He decided to leave his starship there -- it was safe and sound, nobody would manage to steal it -- and go to a café. He didn't even remember the taste of coffee, not even speaking of having eaten a dessert in a while. And even though they were simple things, they would really make his day a lot better.
