  • Unit Name: Ashaka Weavers | Ashaka Mages | Ashaka Battlemasters | Scripters
  • Affiliation: The Bryn'adûl
  • Classification: Force Sensitive Aeravalin | Support Mages | Healers | Elemental Masters (Rare) | Scripters (Extremely Rare)
  • Description: The Ashaka Order dates back to the beginning of the Draelvasier Seers. They had mandated the creation of the Ashaka Order in an effort to curb the loss of culture, knowledge and history. This decision was quickly accepted after The Bryn'adûl reclaimed their home, Draemidus Prime. During its conception, Aeravalin were chosen carefully. With their gifts to tap into the force it allowed them to piece together the past. These particular Aeravalin were considered, Scripters. While this was the initial intent, over the years the Order began to expand its specialty. Now, the Ashaka Order is comprised of a mixture of Force Sensitive Draelvasier that are capable of Healing, Meditating & Offensive Force powers. This was in part due to certain mandates made by the Seers as the Order grew. With Artifacts spread throughout the galaxy by other outside civilizations, the Seers used the Ashaka Order to gain more understanding of them, sometimes potentially destroying them in an effort to keep their own artifacts superior in terms of usefulness. In war, they found that the Ashaka Mages were invaluable, increasing the effectiveness of all military forces through the use of the force. In other ways, they were capable of changing the flow of combat, using elemental magic to decimate the enemy.
  • Life Weaver: Ashaka Mages that Specialize in force powers that fall in the range of Shields, Force Drain & Healing. (Some are capable of offensive force powers)
  • Fate Weaver: Ashaka Mages that harness the power of the force, utilizing it to fuel military forces and buffering their effectiveness. (Some are capable of offensive force powers)
  • Scripters: Ashaka Mages that can tap into a rare form of power in the force that can allow them to revisit the past, either by touch or other forms of gifted practices. They tend to record everything for historical accuracy. Some Scripters have rare abilities to restore broken or ancient forms of artifacts.
  • Ashaka Battlemasters: These are Ashaka Mages that are a hybrid of both the Order and other sects of force utilizing groups within the Bryn'adûl. These are multi-faceted force warriors that chose to become Ashaka members for the future.

  • Unit Size: Medium
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit experience: Elite
  • Equipment: Many within the Order of the Ashaka tend to wear robes over their armor. Most wear forms of light-armor, allowing them to quickly react and weave the force to their content. Some carry bones from successful hunts or even enemies, trophies from their triumphs. Others tend to have their own unique form of melee weapons, this is usually a secondary precaution for close quarters combat.

  • Combat Function: The first and foremost function of the Ashaka Order is to support The Bryn'adûl's armies on the front lines of war. The Ashaka Order mages do this by using a form of battle meditation to link themselves to combatants on the front lines of war. By doing this, Fate Weavers can bolster even the weakest of Draelvasier storming the enemy forces. Of course, while this can lead to victory, it can be exhausting. Knowing the extreme concentration and effort behind the Fate Weavers role, the Order created another sect of mages to oversee the wounded. These came in forms of Life Weavers, all capable of extraordinary rejuvenation abilities. Still, even Life Weavers became exhausted after long applications of healing were applied to The Bryn'adûl forces. Universally, it seemed that all Ashaka had a connection to a sinister option when caught in a corner. This came in the form of Force Drain. This darker gift in the arts of the force were widely practiced on different levels of effectiveness. This was to keep many Ashaka Mages from being felled in the grand scheme of things. Over time it seemed that such a solution wasn't the strongest of offensive capacity, to keep members safe, the Order began to accept what they called, Battlemasters. These Ashaka Mages were capable of providing devastating elemental force powers. Along with their affinity for the elements, they were still capable of being Life Weavers, Fate Weavers, or Scripters. This hybrid acceptance in the Ashaka Order became tradition, making them a devastating, versatile force sensitive unit.
Scripters while not mentioned too much throughout the past, are still a integral part of the Ashaka Order. They are the only mages that tend to be a central point of preserving ancient artifacts in order to record the past. These individuals are usually accompanied by Weavers and Battlemasters in order to retrieve and capture specified items safely. While the Scripters operate within the confines of the Ashaka Order, they are a direct unit that follows all of the Seers demands. More often than not, Scripters use the force to re-live the past by touch or other applications of the force that are otherwise, unheard of. Some tend to have restorative abilities, but only material objects that are broken or destroyed. Many Ashaka members understand the importance of the past in order for The Bryn'adûl to have a brighter future.

  • Mastery of the Art: Weavers of the Ashaka Order are incredible masters of the force. They can easily call on the powers of the unknown with ease. Through rigorous training regiments and trials, these force-gifted Aeravalin tend to display perfection in their art of weaving.
  • The Tables Turned: Fate Weavers use Battle Meditation to turn the tide of battle. Being expert practitioners in this form of force power can mold even the most terrible of outcomes into a victory.
  • Exploitation of the Enemy: The Weavers tend to have a commonality among them. Each Weaver of the Ashaka Order tend to have a rare gift to drain their enemies dry. This exploitation allows them to feed off their adversary and fuel them through the fight.

  • Select Few: Very Few Draelvasier are Force Sensitive, making it difficult to find members to replenish the Ashaka Order.
  • Support Based Exhaustion: Given that the weavers are mainly supporters, some are left vulnerable to close quarters combat. Many weavers in their effort to support the battlefield can be found in exhaustive states, giving them little chances to fight back with the force. For some, this can mean death.
  • Force Immune Applications: Many Ashaka Mages rely on their raw powers from the force. When in contact with beings, materials or other forms of Force immune characteristics, Ashaka Mages must find creative ways around such circumstances. This can be a huge disadvantage and at times could force many Ashaka members to resort to other means of combat.

At the start, The Bryn'adûl came in a swathe of pure fury and hate for the civilizations before it. Each individual planet relied on technology, because of this a state of decadence formed. This key aspect of their everyday lives set in motion a truth that all Draelvasier know today. They were weak, complacent in their way of life. By order of the Seers and the chieftain Tathra Khaeus Tathra Khaeus , The Bryn'adûl marched forth into the galaxy with battle-hardened warriors. Each of them birthed from the efforts of restoring what the Draelvasier once were. In their effort to conquer worlds, The Bryn'adûl began to understand the power that came with technological reliance. They realized that more gifted Draelvasier were a necessary element to the battlefield. Following the loss of many warriors on the planet of Kesh, a new mandate was created to prevent further loss.

This mandate demanded an alternative to their oversight, thus the Ashaka Order was called upon to bring effective support to the armies of The Bryn'adûl. This molded the Order into a different machine for war than what it originally was intended for. Due to this, the Seers continued to expand on the capabilities of each weaver as they continued forward. Since most of the Order was comprised of Aeravalin, it seemed only natural for the Order to eventually branch off. Since many Aeravalin were significantly intelligent compared to their counter-parts, the Seers left them to their own devices, leaving their duties in the hands of what is known as the Archmage of Ashaka. The Archmage of Ashaka instituted a new wave of force-sensitives capable of both Life Weaving and Fate Weaving. This brought the Ashaka Order into a new age. Eventually the sect of Ashaka Mages would become a remarkable tool for The Bryn'adûl.

Pretty snazzy. Just a couple things:

Is there a citation to be included for this gif? Current image credits are unclear, at least for me.

With the recent updates to factions, the links to the Bryn'adûl faction are broken.
  • Life Weaver: Ashaka Mages that Specialize in force powers that fall in the range of Shields, Force Drain & Healing. (Some are capable of offensive force powers)
I see you included links for Force Drain and Battle Meditation. Including ones for the aforementioned Shields and Healing would be lovely.

Life Weaver of Ashaka
Collector Collector I've provided links in all areas, took a little bit to find the source of that gif, but we got her done. Also, under the quotations for everything you had issues with, I went ahead and added links for each as well. Hope this helps clear everything up!
