Back at the apartment, rather attractive servant girls were already preparing food. In deference to the fact that there was a kid around, their maiden outfits were more covering than they'd usually be!


The day was coming to a close and the sun was setting, so Siobhan was fine with breaking off training now. Aba had met a number of hurdles, but more than proved herself. Moreover, Siobhan was feeling hungry and had a headache. "Drink would be nice, thanks," she said as she took off her leather boots. Quickly joining Aba at the side board, she gulped down the glass of water.


"Dinner should be ready soon. We can watch a holovid if you like. Your pick," she suggested jovially. All the raunchy 'Elfsploitation' movies had been safely stashed away. Aside from those, Siobhan tended to enjoy action flicks, cheesy romance movie and, surprisingly, documentaries on animals.

Abaigeal felt the ease of relaxation now, with the promise of dinner arriving soon and the suggestion of a holovid! She did not really find the time to indulge in watching them, so she would take good advantage of the moment, besides it gave her more time to spend with Sio and get to know her more.

"I don't think romance would be the thing right now", in fact she doubted they would ever be her thing as she did not wish to be reminded of lack of love on a romantic level. Not that she was looking, in fact quite the opposite as she will live on in the galaxy, the same as she is now, the same body never to age but to have the curse of watching those she loves around her love, live and die. She wanted love, but did not want the pain of it.

"Oh, well maybe a documentary? I have heard of a good one, Ewoks: and what makes them tick, you heard of it?". She walked over to the sofa and made herself comfortable.

Siobhan's selection of romance movies were rather sapphic in addition to being extremely corny. She also stole her pick-up lines from them. "Ok, no romance for today, though Imagine Me and You is a lovely movie," she said cheerfully. Her eyes fell upon Aba for a moment, as if considering whether there was more behind her words.


She felt like pushing a bit, but then decided not to pry. Walking over to the stack of vids, she rummaged through them for a bit, before finally finding the one she wanted. "I think that's the one you mean! With fluffy Ewoks and stuff. You should meet Galina. She loves animals. Maybe you can convince her not to just love the dangerous ones with big sharp claws!" she joked.


It was true that Galina Kerrigan-Alcori had a love of dangerous pets. Personally Siobhan blamed [member="Coryth Elaris"]. After all, the little redhead rode around on a nexu. In any case, she walked over to the holotelly device and inserted the vid. Soon it began and our ladies were led into the lovely forest of Endor, while Siobhan walked back to the sofa and made herself comfortable. "Come here, angel," she spoke fondly to Aba, wrapping an arm around her daughter.

As the vid began, Abaigeal moved over to Sio and rested against her shoulder. Soon she had allowed herself to get lost in the forests of Endor and the quirky nature of the Ewoks. From time to time she would giggle at their antics as they are a strange race, primitive but full of fun in their own right.

"It is nice to spend time with you, even if it is with the silly ewoks", she said with mirth. As the vid played on, Abaigeal grew increasingly hungry, her stomach voicing it's protest at being forgotten. And the smell from the kitchen did not assist this. A brutal scene of Ewoks hunting caught her attention, with primitive weapons they are able to bring down a large creature. But evident was their organisation within their society.

"Sio, I don't suppose we could eat on the sofa tonight?".

Proper decorum said that eating on the sofa was a no-no! However, privately Siobhan was rather easy-going and liberal unless she got in a mood about something. Granted, her moods could be quite sudden and tempestuous! So she gave Aba an indulgent look and lanted a kiss on her forehead. It helped that the Lady really loved to cuddle.


"Of course we can, dear," she said happily, laughing a bit when one of the reporters talked about Ewok mating habits! That was always something she'd wanted to hear about. The little guys were primitive, but quite fun. Turning her head, she made a gesture to a servant girl, so that the cooks would know where to deliver the food.


"The little guys are fun. One of their tribes once stole a DeathWatch Star Destroyer a couple years ago at Mustafar. Not sure how they pulled that off!" Then again, it was DeathWatch. Silly name, though it was probably fitting for a gang of anarchic space hooligans. "I really love spending time with you, angel. Be it watching ewoks or whate else. Very glad I met you."

"Oh eww!", she responded to the Ewoks mating habits. "I think I prefer .. oh never mind", she smiled while blushing. The food arrived to a small Caf table in front of them, a wonderful array of foods to choose from and it all smelled wonderful. "I am so pleased to have met you as well Sio", she hugged her and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek. "I am not sure where I would be now if I had not". Probably wondering the galaxy still, without direction or purpose.

"I think we had better eat before those Ewoks put me off my food", she moved forward to allow them both to serve themselves. Abaigeal took her selection of a bit of this and a bit of that and piled her plate high. The exercises of the day had taken toll on her mentally as well as physically, her body ached as did her mind. "I am so hungry". she said piling her fork to the full before eating. Decorum had left the building, for the first few mouthfuls until her stomach had told her to slow down and she washed it down with more water.

Siobhan giggled when she saw Aba's reactions to Ewok mating habits. Yes, Mistress Thuella actually giggled. "Haha. What's wrong, sweetie? It's perfectly natural. Ewok babies need to come from somewhere!" she declared happily once she'd managed to say something coherent after coming down with a fit of giggles.


Aba's following words, however, made her experience all sorts of fuzzy feelings and she smiled brightly. "You're everything a mother could ask for in a daughter," she said with mushy sincerity, holding Aba close.


Food came and they moved apart slightly to serve themselves. Siobhan looked slightly amused as Aba relentlessly assaulted her food, but did not feel like chiding her. "Don't eat too fast. Your stomach won't like it. The food's not running away," she said mildly before likewise turning her attention to her food and beginning to eat. While Siobhan had not exerted herself like her daughter had, she still had quite an appetite.

Even though she had slowed her eating at the advice of Sio, Abaigeal could not help but want to roll her eyes at her, like she was ten again. Instead she smiled and kissed her cheek, "Thank you for caring", she softly said. "I care about you too, and I wish you would get that leg seen to". Abaigeal knew she was fighting a loosing battle on this front but it was worth a try.

Abaigeal pushed her plate away on the table, a sign she had had enough and her belly showed this as well as a small bump appeared under her clothing. "Mother, I think I might got and sleep soon, I am feeling tried". She looked over to Sio to see if she was the same. "Do you think I might have a bath before bed?", she asked as her body now ached for the soothing waters.

"You have done me in with all this training, but when is the next lesson?", she asked eager to continue her training more, although this would be for another time as Sio had other business to attend too as well.

Well, her daughter was determined. Then again, she was a Kerrigan, so it was no surprise! "My leg is the way it is. I can manage," Siobhan insisted firmly. Presumably it would take another roof dropping on it before she'd change her mind, though that would probably necessitate getting a whole new leg!


She got to feet and pushed her plate away, leaving it for the servants to take away. Any leftovers would be theirs to eat if they wanted. "Of course you can have a bath, dear," she gave Aba a kindly smile. After all, cleanliness was next to...Forciness? "I'd very much like to continue your training. My schedule's gonna be a bit hectic over the next few days, but I should have time on the weekend. And, of course, you're free to practice on the shooting range or with the training droids - I should've some Magnaguards lying around - or participate in Firemane training drills." Most Firemane soldiers might not have the Force, but they could still put Aba through her paces!


She knitted her brow together as she pondered, looking thoughtful before words left her lips again. "I also have a personal holocron."

Stubborn, that what she was and no amount of Abaigeal speaking to her about her leg would shift Sio. She guessed it would take time to learn how to get around her and get what she wanted. It would be all for the benefit and care of her mother, never gain on her part, but still there had to be a way. "Ok I will drop it", she said with a smile, ".. for now", she added.

The idea of the bath set in her mind like stone, and she prepared to go. "I will not be idol while you are attending to business, you can be sure of that". But Abaigeal stopped at the mention of the holocron. She had never had the chance to see one let alone use one and the idea of what might be in that treasure peeked her curiosity.

"I thank you for the offer, but I will wait .. I want to see what I have in me before I progress my skills further. Once I have done that .. with your permission I will learn more. Alone". Yes she was determined and willful.

Abaigeal leaned over and kissed Sio on the top of her head. "I shall go bathe now and sleep. Good night mother. I .. I love you".

Two months later, part of a roof dropped on Sio's leg!


Well, her daughter was a determined and willful sort. Probably much like her birth mother and her adoptive one. "Ok, sweetie. When you're ready I'll give you access. It's got everything I know inside it. Hmm. Don't take the sections where I criticise the Jedi too seriously," she added with a chuckle. In all fairness, most of her ranting was about Republic Jedi, so maybe Iella would not mind too much?


She leaned into the kiss and smiled. Getting up, she pulled her daughter into a hug. "I love you too, angel. So very much. Sleep well. I'll be in my room if you need anything." Stepping back, she released her.
