Born the son of an absent father and a dead mother, the boy spent his early years in the care of a small village's local priestess, who saw to it that he at the very least knew how to speak, hunt, forage, and not eat things that would kill him before she passed away when he was only six. In the years since, he has made a home for himself in the wilds following the village ostracizing him for his strange abilities, and become a adequate enough hunter to make it his trade and eek out a less than miserable existence for himself. However, the child yearns for adventure, spending night after night watching for starships in the sky longing to one day leave the squalor he has always known.
