The Bosph Way of Life (Krux, Setzi)

A new day a new mission, today was tasked with accompanying a member of the Agricorps to the planet of Bosph. Unfortunately for him he was accompanying the former Sith [member="Setzi Lunelle"]. However it was the wish of the Assembly and we would carry out his mission.

As the pair of them were dismissed from the Sanctum they made their way to the hanger where collect a Agricorps ship and head off to Bosph. George lead, trying not to engage in conversation, he felt angry having to work with the ex-Sith as he still saw her as evil. He believed that there was no coming back from the ways of the Sith, those who tried were impostors, seeking to destroy the light way of life. However against his wants he had to start something. "What exactly are doing in Bosph?" His sharp tone could be felt by the ex-Sith.

He had been present at the training held by what seemed to be her lover and ironically another ex-Sith in the weeks prior to their mission. This gave George even more ammunition against her. Feeling as the two were indeed Sith infiltrating the Sanctum in order to destroy it. However George had no proof and almost everyone else welcomed them with open arms. Something George just couldn't do. Part of him thought that the Assembly had known of this and placed him on this mission for that exact reason, however there was again no proof of that either. For the time being they would have to work together to get this over and done with as soon as possible.

"Breathe in...and out."

Krux sat cross-legged inside a humble cloth tent put up by this small group of bosph natives, the group of four strange-looking aliens sitting with the Jedi Knight as he guided them in meditation. Krux had a class to teach in a couple of days on Voss, he had already sent out notifications to all of the students of the Silver Jedi, wondering who all would show up. He was anxious, but he took it upon himself to travel to Bosph, which apparently housed a great number of Force-Sensitive people in need of proper guidance in the Force. Krux had a lot of time on his hands after agreeing to allow his padawan and lover, [member="Setzi Lunelle"], time out of his nest. She needed to become more independent if she were to become a Jedi Knight, and he urged her to meet new people without him holding her hand, as much as he loved to do so.

"Feel, don't think." he told the four bosph, dressed in ragged robes reminiscent of that of a Jedi. The people of this particular village were very monk-like. They were farmers, above all, sustaining life in the larger villages on the planet, and the four gentlemen who joined him in this tent were the four guardians of the village who were very untrained and unskilled with their talents. The Force served them, but Krux had come hoping to help them truely understand it and to help guide them down the path of the Jedi before any Sith could come around and persuade them to follow their strict code instead.

Setzi Lunelle

Searching for Eleos's Altar
Setzi waved the Nautolan Jedi, Knight O'Rourke, over to her own ship, The Pirate’s Foe. Although AgriCorps had provided a freighter, it didn’t match the sheer power and cargo room that the Mobquet Transport had. The brunette padawan tried not to dwell on her Sith background during every waking moment, but the sight of a Nautolan filled her with nostalgia for her former homeworld Glee Anselm. As a Sith Lord she’d made created somewhat of a family on Glee for many years, along with her companion Darth Pyrrhus who ruled that specific sector of the galaxy. She reminded herself to discuss the planet later with George as he probably had some opinions on Nautolan politics.

“The Pirate’s Foe has room for everything we need for this mission, plus the droids that will help as we’ll need a little manpower when we get there. I have everything – labor droids, a harvester, even a recycling droid…”

Setzi trailed off as she could tell through voice, presence, and even through his aura, that the Nautolan Jedi Knight was annoyed. She wanted to ask him what was wrong but thought better of it.

Maybe you are imagining things, Setzi.

“In any case, we are going to Bosph to help with an insect problem which has been affecting their crops,” she continued, pointing to one of the labor droids loading rectangular metal boxes of supplies. “The Bosph are very superstitious. They don’t believe in chemicals and other types of additives to help their crops grow and thrive. So this is a special organic type of pesticide. Our job is to convince the head of the farming committee to allow us to treat the worst of their fields with the pesticide.” The labor droid closed the supply panel with a bang and headed up the Foe’s boarding ramp. A low hum could be heard from the transport, followed by a mechanical whine, signaling they were close to lift-off procedures. Setzi followed along behind the droid, and turning her head to George, asked, “Are you ready?”

As they prepared to travel to the planet of Bosph Setzi quickly gave George a quick debrief of the task at hand. Ehh out of all the Jedi here I was tasked to work with the Sith and for this mission? He thought in his head, careful to keep it in his head. "Thats great." He replied to Setzi's comment about her own ship. It was short and sweet and at this point in time George felt it was the best he could offer.

Ehh why do these people feel so against technology, I mean its how the world goes round, literally. Again this whole mission was getting under his skin. And at this stage anything would cause the Nautolan to get more annoyed. "It shouldn't be too hard to convince these people that we can fix their crops." George said looking directly at the ship as he walked beside Setzi making sure not to create eye contact. However he stopped a moment and thought, taking a deep breath in trying to calm himself. He would need to work with her, the least he could do is work with her, thats all. He just needed to get through this mission.

As Setzi turned and spoke to George he started walking again. "Yeah I'm coming." He replied as he walked up the ramp into the ship behind Setzi, hoping the trip there and back would be done in the least amount of time as possible.

Setzi Lunelle

Searching for Eleos's Altar
George O’Rourke was an odd character, thought Setzi, and the more time she spent in his company, the more she thought that her past may have been the problem. After all, she lived on Glee Anselm where Nautolans were subjugated by her Master, Sith Lord Darth Pyrrhus. Perhaps he’d heard of her exploits at the Academy there, and the fact that Nautolans were treated like second-class citizens in the eyes of the Sith?

But she rather than ask him outright, the padawan said, “You would be surprised at how many native species do not want help. Like they think of it as an imposition or I don’t know… that they know best?”

She gazed at Knight O’Rourke with his majestic head-tresses and his lidless, large crimson eyes. Certainly the Sith thought they knew what was best for Glee Anselm rather than let the Nautolans decide.

She shook away the distressing memories, and once they were aboard The Pirate’s Foe, Setzi settled into the cockpit, motioning to Knight O’Rourke: “Make yourself at home. You don’t have to stay here with me as I guide us to Bosph. You can rest in one of the cabins if you’d like.”

She smiled at him, trying to disarm his unease with kindness and hospitality.

The Bosph natives exited the tent one by one, expressing their gratitude to the Jedi Knight, of whom each looked up at with the highest respect they could give. To these few, hearing the Knight's story was an inspiration. A wise man once asked them, What is better? To be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through deeds of benevolence?. Turns out Krux Mullarus is the living embodiment of that quote, and now that the few Force-Sensitive natives had seen, they could see the Light. Krux simply took their hands and led them down it, and could leave them to find their own paths now. The Light shone on them like a mirror now.

As Krux stood up and threw his silver-furred cloak back on around himself, he felt that sensation stab at the back of his mind that was like ecstasy to him. He felt the presence of [member="Setzi Lunelle"] near - or on - Bosph. Though, he was still anxious, too. He still feared that this freedom she was given in her training, which was completely necessary to build her own independence, would change her so much, she would see a galaxy full of opportunity that could only exist if her hand was not bound to his. Perhaps it was just jealousy, he couldn't help it much. He was scared to lose her.

He exited the tent and looked up in time to see, very faintly, The Pirate's Foe overhead. He smiled, happy to feel his beloved's presence through the Force after a few weeks without it near him, and began to walk to where it was soon to land.

He missed her.
