OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The Blade
  • Classification: Corporate HQ
  • Location: Mon Calamari, above-water (In one of Mon Calamari's floating cities.)
  • Affiliation: Ne-Cal Military Space Engineering
  • Accessibility: The Blade is publicly known, but can only be accessed with permission.
  • Security: Blast doors in important rooms, security cameras, metal detectors. Can use Ne-Cal ships to defend itself.
  • Description: The Blade was designed to be a corporate HQ for Ne-Cal Military Space Engineering. It was named after its resemblance to a tip of a blade. It has two parts, a lower "stump" and an upper "spire". The stump contains most of the facility's shipyards and docks, capable of fitting ships of up to frigate size. The spire has most of the building's security, as well as a majority of the office space. Meetings can also be hosted in this area.

POINTS OF INTEREST

The Circle: The bottom, gently curved area of The Blade is called The Circle. It contains the Blade's shipyards and hangars, varying in size from hangars for private executives to industrial shipyards able to produce frigates. It has an area of about two kilometers and a height of 300 meters.

The Spire: The long, thin spire that makes up the center of The Blade is called The Spire. It contains the offices and meeting spaces of The Blade. All outside entrances to The Spire are protected by combination locked doors, security cameras, and metal detectors.

There are three important rooms, closer to the top of The Blade than any other rooms. The third highest floor is the commercial room, a plain white room that can be edited using special effects. The second highest floor is @Rick Kaloo's personal office, a medium sized room where he manages Ne-Cal Military Space Engineering. The highest floor on The Blade is the communications room. Workers in the communications room control the security details, make sure The Blade's electronic systems are working properly, and communicate with spacecraft who wish to enter The Blade. All three rooms have blast doors.

The Spire is about six tall and 800 meters wide.

The Traffic Hole: There is a large hole in the bottom left of The Spire, designed to regulate spaceship traffic entering and exiting The Blade. It has two lanes and is a private road.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Blade is a large building designed as a corporate HQ for Ne-Cal Military Space Engineering. It was named The Blade because it is shaped like a dagger. It currently houses all of Ne-Cal Military Space Engineering's shipyards and offices.

Love it. That said, I took a look at your company, and it's still Tier One and 'not very significant' as per your sub. A ten-kilometre skyscraper doesn't really jive with that. I'd suggest scaling down and tiering up.
