The Blackguard (Faction Ad)

BVWCgpE.png
"We might dedicated our live to either dark or light, but in the end we are nothing but servants to the force. How can we claim to understand the power gifted to us, if we limit ourself in the way we precieve it. We are the Blackguard, and to us all knowledge is sacred, be it a bright light or deeply tainted."

What is the Blackguard?

The Chaos Blackguard is based on a Legends group with the same name, but with a few vital tweaks to the concept to make this more inclusive:
Instead of us renouncing our current alliances to the Sith/Jedi/Whatever the new Blackguard offers a neutral ground for the current orders to come together under the single goal of collection and preserving all knowledge surrounding the force.
What you do outside of the Blackguard is no one but your own business. If there is conflict, fell free to fight it out everywhere but on Blackguard territory, or challenge someone to The Trials.
Those that break the rules are excluded from the Blackguard, and can only work their way back into the Guard if they succeed on the Path of Wisdom
Also take a look at our command structure here.
To the Blackguard all knowledge is sacred, so leave your prejudice at the door if you want to be a part of us.

The Laws of the Blackguard:

1. All knowledge is sacred, be it a bright light or deeply tainted.
2. Conflict is not to be brought into the Blackguard. Those who do either have to take the Trials or are expelled from the Guard.
3. Anyone is allowed to be a member of Blackguard, as long as they adhere to the Laws.

What can the Blackguard do for you?

The way I envision it the Blackguard should become a place where we can allow your force user characters to learn and grow in the ways of the force, devoid of the limitations of a single order. I also envision it as a place where people will have a good chance to build a master-apprentice relationship with another character, beyond the current borders.
Its also a place which encourages players that normally wouldn't share a thread outside the battlefield to come together and share stories with people outside of their current faction.

How far does the nonaggression pact between Blackguard members go? A Jedi and a Sith may be expected to study side by side, but if they later meet on the battlefield when they put their knowledge to use, will they be expected to not raise their swords against each other?

Nevermind, I can't read apparently. This sounds like something that'd be fun to be involved in!
