Strengths:
- Can cut through many materials with relative ease.
- Operates under water.
- When the blade is ignites, it casts and passively maintains the Dark Side ability Force Fear, on all those within a 30m radius, causing an uncontrollable fear that would wreak havoc on their capabilities.
Weaknesses:
- The Force Fear effects allies as well as enemies.
- Through force of will, the force fear can be broken. Those with stronger minds and resolve can block out the effect altogether.
- Hilt is shorter than normal, being mainly a single bladed weapon, while being able to somewhat be used for two handed use, the handle will be lacking compared to a standard lightsaber.
