Okay, so, looking for maybe... three, possibly four others who are interested. I'm gonna be heading out to a random planet to hunt a specific giant monster. RP goal is to have some fun, kill a big monster, and have a good story for telling.
It's not gonna be the usual "Let's go spam out a dozen posts and kill a monster like the anime guys do in one or two epic swings of a ridiculously oversized weapon", so if you're looking to one-shot the critter... Not happening. This thread will most likely be a sizeable number of posts. I'm hoping for a solid fifty post thread, but if we go higher than that, that's awesome.
Before anyone signs up, couple of things to remember. The hunt is very possibly going to be highly dangerous, even lethal. Granted, no one can kill your character, but try not to paint yourself into a corner. NPC the monster might be, but I don't know anyone who survived having a multiton creature landing on their chest and crushing their body to a pulp. Next, the monster is probably going to be very, very, very tough to kill. This means it might be sporting a lightsaber resistant hide, a resistance to the Force, regenerative abilities, Force abilities, a variety of other nastiness, all of the above, or none of the above.
Now, as for pay... well, for starters you get a badass story to tell and a nice RP thread. If you're one of the types who wants to walk away with shiny bits and loot... Probably not much to be had. Now, that said, the monster carcass and/or byproducts of the dead monster will be shipped to an independent third party who may or may not be able to make something from the monster. It could be armor, weapons, Force-resistant codpieces, or maybe just a neat wall decoration or something similar. Keep in mind, if you blow up the critter into tiny pieces, you're not getting much, if anything*. So...
Each hunter who both finishes the hunt and survives the hunt will receive a single Voucher to be redeemed for a single item made from the monster, if any are made.
Now, without further ado, sign ups are below.
Oh, and the monster? Once the IC thread starts, I'll release the monster image, size, and a short, basic description. Pack appropriately, folks.

*Hunters who blow up, destroy, or in some way render the monster into paste, bits, or small chunks of critter will forfeit their Voucher for an item and instead will receive a 10cr gift card to McYoda's.
