The Belladar Dynasty

"The company prospered with you taking orders directly from me. But having a middle man takes too long for the transfer of orders. You're done here."

Lightly placing the datapad upon the table, Malphas began to turn around and headed towards the door. Business was all done here. Of course he couldn't leave his father so completely out of the loop. He would let him be on a board of administrators that he'd inevitably ignore, but would only use for show.

Snorting in derision at his own thoughts he grasped the old fashioned doorknob, but before he turned it, he tilted his head as he felt something in the Force.

"You've failed me, my son..."

Of course it was a sword. Probably made out of the natural resources of the planet.

Idiot.

He heard the sound of the blade being drawn, he didn't need the Force here, but he wouldn't be denied.

Turning around both of his hands flew up in the direction of his father and the Dark Side was released from his hands. He had been tempted in simply sending a powerful force push or blast at his father and send him through the viewport. But then his company would have to pay for that, and Malphas didn't like wasting things.

So the typical punishment was released.

Sith Lightning.

It cooked the man in his clothes.

The duration of his screams felt like eternity.

His father was dead, as was the way of the Sith, the natural order of things on Coruscant and soon to be Tantorus.

A while ago he had left the building and was with his troopers heading up to the shipyards that were now beginning to encircle the planet. He meant to speak with the chief engineer and construction workers upon the shipyards. He had to tell them of the change in management, and what they would be doing for the new Chief Executive Officer.

"Did you kill him, my Lord?" Was the voice of the sergeant from earlier.

Turning his head to the side to look at him in wonder, yellow eyes searching the black visor of the Sith Trooper's Commander, and nodded his head. "How did you know?"

"You smell like burnt ozone."

The shuttles landed in the hangar bay of Tantorian Industries shipyards, and Malphas disembarked quickly. There was no more time to waste. With his father dead plans had been pushed ahead and he had plenty of things to do. He had to return to Coruscant for one, and then he would find himself an Apprentice, worthy of learning his Master's power.

There was another shuttle that he had called on the way. They had the blueprints to the ship that he needed built, the datapads with the information on it was of vital importance, how else would he construct the ship?

Beckoning them over, he bid them to follow him and he continued through the halls as if he already knew where he was going. Soon enough they would get to the construction docks, or at least an observation deck to see how the shipyard built things, then they would be briefing the engineers and construction workers on what to do.

They were soon encountered by a Pureblood by the name of Crassin. A large fellow, one who was fit to be a construction worker. When he encountered Malphas, he bowed and saluted.

Never seen that before.

He chuckled.

"At ease. Are you the one I am meant to speak to about my ship?"

"Yes, my Lord. Follow me."

"Do you know my name?"

"No, but you're the new owner."

"Good enough."

Then they went through the doorway with a whoosh and then they were in the office of the man. It was close enough to the construction yards that when you looked out the viewports situated in the room you could see the shipyards at work. although still some distance away.

"There is a man I wish to promote, and the greatest reward I can give him is a starship."

"A simple man, is he?"

"A more intelligent man than you." Was the snapped out answer.

"O-o-kkay."

Simpleton.

He said nothing else in response. Beckoning the scientists and engineers who had followed him to the office placed the datapads upon the table. There was extensive information about how the ship should be designed, what it was going to look like, and troop numbers that would be within.

"The ship is meant to take on a planet all by itself?"

"Yes, or rather, it can siege a planet if need be. It is meant to be like the Imperial Star Destroyers of old." Six years ago he enver would've been speaking like this. He would've never known what an Imperial, or a Star Destroyer was, but here he was six years later ordering people around, barely a Sith Knight and yet still commanding more soldiers than most people in the Galaxy.

It was a glorious thing.

"I have only recently become familiar with the ships."

"Good. Are we done here?"

"A copy of the files would be needed."

"As you wish. However do not start construction as of yet. I've got other people to speak to." The Sith Knight said with the cheekiest smile that he could ever bring up. His helmet wasn't upon his face, but rather in his hands, but when he stood up, he shook the hand of the man and turned towards the door.

"The scientists will stay here so that you do copy the files, and then they'll transfer it over to others on my ship."

Then he was out the door and his complement of guards followed behind him.

Once again he was on his ship, but instead of being upon the bridge he was at a console near enough to the bridge.

He felt the ship jump into hyperspace.

Good, no more wasting time.

At that moment he was preparing a message for the Chiss at Copero. It was time for his ship to come to fruition, and he needed the power of the Chiss's technology for him to best use the tools at his disposal. What he had learned previously was quite good... Shock nets, megamasers. It was too good to be true.

The transmission he sent to Copero's Shipyards said:

My name is Darth Acarus, I am en route to your shipyard. I intend to have a ship built. Ideas, advice, and the technology of the Chiss are all needed in order for this to work.

Respond if you will.

The message was sent and the Sith Pureblood contacted Anthony to halt the ship's continued hyperspace travel.

It took but a moment for the message to be returned to him.

My name is Crado, your message has been received Darth Acarus. We are pleased to be hosting you at our shipyards and whatever we can do for you shall be our honour. We expect you within the hour.

The supposed expectation surprised the Charcoal Sith Pureblood, but he made no comment about it. Instead, he prepared the next message quite quickly.

And there it was.

That is good to hear. I understand that you are capable of incorporating megamasers, radiation bombs, and shock nets to my ship. Is it possible to have these made to the size of a standard capital ship's missile size? Approximately the size of a concussion missile?

The radiation bomb was quite an interesting weapon. If he utilized Coralskippers and the regular ion cannons equipped to a capital ship, then he could strip the shields from a ship and fire the shock nets upon the ship's engines to prevent them from jumping into hyperspace. Thus, letting the capture of the ship extremely easier.

To add to that fact using the radiation bomb upon the unshielded ship could help in the way that he'd be able to wipe out that same ship that was incapable of escaping.

It was noly a back up plan after all in the case that the yammosk on the Skarr Ro'ik Carrier Analog ship was unable of stopping them from escaping with it's interdiction field.

The Chiss responded in good time again.

It is possible, though that'll be slightly more costly. The radiation bombs have never been introduced to the known Galaxy. They have only been used in the Unknown Regions, and there are few enough from our Galaxy to actually have entered our regions and leave again.

That sounded... Intriguing.

People don't leave Chiss Space? Do they kidnap them and keep them there? Of course not, not anymore anyway...

Many Years Later

Lord Vyrassu ventured down the recently refurbished turbolift to the underground complex of Vitiate's building. To either side of him were Left and Right, his most trusted bodyguards. Both of them powerful Sith Warriors of House Graush. He owed them his life, and had for quite some time. However, he'd never admit it to them. They had served his Father before him, and now they served him.

After the Sith Knight had had Right execute the rest of his Board of Directors for failing to recognize a threat to the company after Lord Ubaron had tried to ruin the name of House Graush, Right had discovered that there were even more rooms to the 'panic' room that Left, Right, and A'sharad had found them hiding in. Behind all of the doors were actually numerous schematics and designs on how to develop megamaser technology, retrieved from the Chiss so many years ago when Tantorian Industries had first been picking up.

"Oh Father," he muttered lowly to himself. "You've done me a great favour," he said, just as low.

They got to the final floor.

"Lead the way," he said to Right. And he did.

Within a handful of minutes they were within what could only be described as a laboratory of some sort. Dozens of datapads littering the tables, miniature, small scale megamasers and model turbolasers about the room. He turned on one of the consoles, and on the screen, a log of correspondences between Chiss Engineers and Scientists between them and Darth Acarus were viewed. "He was hard at work here..." He said quietly. "Megamasers?" He said inquisitively. There was a hole in the wall, one that shouldn't have been there, it looked recent, and he looked to Right.

"Only a test. It works."

"Does it? ...Good... Get a team of scientists down here. I want these..."
