Description: There is little story behind the Aurora Lantern, aside from that it was crafted masterfully by the one known as the Rainbow Goddess (Aynea Savan) and her alchemy assistants for her next of kin. The piece was crafted out of the base of a large, ancient chalice of unknown origin belonging to the "Arcrystal Strait," a short lane of ancient, inhabited systems spanning from Crystalsong to Uluk'Tgalieh, though its finish has been refurbished by electrochemical gold plating and embedded with shards of flourescent Greater Krayt Dragon pearls. The chalice structure is made resistant to the Force, plasma beams, plasma bolts and other lightsabers by the minor Force nexus it carries within; removing the crystal removes with it this property. This crystal is also the conduit of power for the saber's blade, whilst the other crystal acts as its focusing medium. The pairing of these two unique crystals causes the blade's plasma to glow fiercely and in a broad range of different colors at once, sometimes shifting chromatically when the output is increased, decreased or fluctuates from impact. Other technologies incorporated into the saber's design include a multi-phase panel for presetting blade dimensions and BCIP for submersible use.
