RATIONALE:
The Avidon System is known for a great number of things, mainly the Magrath Family and the newly arisen Avidonian Dominion. It is also known for the vast untapped mineral wealth within much of the system. Much of the land upon which this mineral wealth is located is owned by the Magrath Family, whom seeking to expand their own influence, the influence of Magrath Industries and the Avidonian Dominion, are willing to open up such wealth to further their own goals.
Thus it is through the use of the family's own collateral and the untapped wealth of the system, that the Duchess Magrath has come to own the establishment titled The Aurodium Bank of Avidon.

DESCRIPTION:
The Aurodium Bank of Avidon is a small entity that is otherwise incapable of competing with larger banks and similar institutions as seen on Muunlist, Core Worlds and other wealthy planets. However, they are not interested in competing with these larger banks. The Aurodium Bank of Avidon was established through the wealth and untapped mineral wealth of the Avidon System as owned by the Duchess Magrath and the extended Magrath Family of Avidon.
Its primary function is like that of any bank, in that it is focused on offering loans to those whom would be willing to repay such loans at the high costs. The primary difference however of The Aurodium Bank of Avidon is in how it operates. That being in a means that is more in line with an emphasis on privacy.
While it does maintain electronically accessible funds and records in means of resource and funds available, this is very limited in comparison to large banking institutions. Rather the Aurodium Bank of Avidon has a preference of using hard currency, ingots, nova crystals, precious gems and in some special cases entire worlds or profitable prospect claims.
In terms of collecting on a loan that is due, the Aurodium Bank of Avidon is not adverse to using threat of force or even a show of force as a means to back their demands. Likewise, they are willing to go as far as offering a bounty on an individual whom has defaulted on a loan, to even going so far as to (in the case of feuding worlds) backing the opposition for the promise of payment on both loans.
Its headquarters location on the world of Avidon, in the Avidon System is a sizable structure, that is constantly guarded by both a private militia, select members of the Fenrir Guard and units from the Avidonian Dominion Royal Military. The headquarters itself does not contain the stores of hard currency, which are rather deposited in guarded locals within the system to prevent their discovery or their theft by others.
