Description:
With the ancient Hammerhead-class Cruiser in Dranok's service soon becoming obsolete, he knew he had to obtain a stronger and faster vessel for personal use. During a meeting with various starship manufacturers, he spotted a slightly older model vessel, but was fast for its size and heavily armed. Both of which appealed to Dranok. This vessel happened to be a Hapan manufactured Nova-class Battle Cruiser. After speaking with the Hapan representative, Dranok concreted a deal and purchased the vessel.
The original model did have several drawbacks though. The main one being the outdated turbolasers. The Hapan design of the weapons made their recharge rate three times longer than the galactic standard. So the first thing Lussk and his employees at Lussk Logistics did was replace them with standard turbolasers, eliminating the weakness. The vessel already possessed a fair amount of armament, which was left untouched. The shields were effective, wielding a backup generator standard to modern variants of the ship. The complement was altered slightly also, replacing two of the six bombers in favor for a freighter or dropship.
The Nova-class Battle Cruiser was a fast, agile, and highly armed vessel. However, its elongated figure highlighted weaknesses. The Long structure, specifically in the middle, was weak. Although it fielded advanced shielding and backups, should they fail, one direct hit to the middle could cause the vessel to literally snap right in half. And due to its fairly small size, it was weaker to bomber runs than most vessels.
