Description:
The Arceneau Cultural Archives are a project constructed in relative secret by Alric Kuhn in preparation for the surprise of Danger's Life, and also the furthering of cultural understanding or something.

The building itself was commissioned by Alric Kuhn nearly a month ago under the guise of the creation of a new Vanir Techologies headquarters on the planet of Bestine. The government officials of Bestine were more than receptive of the corporation and when told the companies true intentions with the property they were more than happy to set aside the land and provide subsidies for construction was well as benefit a large amount of construction droids. This allowed the building to be created with relative ease and speed, something that would have been impossible without the cooperation of the local government on Bestine.

The building itself sits on one of the larger islands on Bestine's surface. Unlike other buildings the Arceneau Cultural Archive actually sits directly upon the water. There is a massive dock as well as private landing port on the backside of the building with a rather spacious entrance. To the front of the building are massive columns and the main entrance itself. This was done so the Archive could have multiple means of entry, to those coming directly from off-world as well as to those already within the city itself. This was a conscious decision made by Alric and the designers, knowing that the Archive would likely become incredibly popular.

The Archives architecture can most be seen as being based on the ancient libraries around the galaxy. The building is essentially a massive square temple of knowledge. Huge marble columns and massive panes of Solarium Glasteel line the entire building. The rock within the building has been ornately carved and every thing seemed perfectly fitted. A massive circular window sits at the top of the construction on either side of the building, allowing a flood of light into the central chamber at both dusk and dawn. The building itself spans a massive square footage and sits at nearly thirteen stories.

When one steps into the Arceneau Cultural Archive they find a surprising lack of...anything.

Where many museums, archives, and even libraries around the galaxy are filled with books, artifacts, statues, and even paintings the Arceneau Cultural Archives are decidedly not. Instead, nearly each and every room within the Archives is a massive holographic simulation chamber.

Containing nearly a thousand rooms, the Arceneau Cultural Archives is perhaps the greatest and fanciest empty space that has ever been constructed in the galaxy. All of this empty space serves a purpose however. Every single room within the Archives is capable of becoming a massive all encompassing holographic projector. These projectors, when activated by a wall panel, begin the projection of a live, and often voice interactive(Not physical), educational hologram recording. These hologram recordings contains thousands upon thousand of petabytes of knowledge gathered throughout history. All of this is stored on a central server beneath the the archives themselves. This knowledge was sourced from the Black Codex*. This massive amalgam of knowledge means that within the Arceneau Cultural Archives is found one of the greatest cache's of knowledge the galaxy has, and likely will ever see.

Though the rooms within the Arceneau Cultural Archives are technically empty, they do hold to be aesthetically pleasing. All of the rooms are designed to be richly inviting and comfortable. Most contain benches, windows, and of course enough room for the interactive holographic displays.

Of course, the Archive also contains a litany of well known and catered restaurants, a common dining area, private rooms, and other amenities that one would find within a huge building such as this. The Arceneau Cultural Archive was built to be a massive mix of a library, community center, public educational facility, and a place where one can find out about their own history. In short, it was a dedication to the knowledge that people have the ability to gain if they simply look.

Located in the center of the Archive is the buildings main hall. The Hall is a massive central chamber spanning nearly half of the square footage of the building itself. The Chamber is of course also a massive holographic projector and is capable of rendering nearly anything imaginable. This feature can be used to render entire battlefields, massive amounts of planetary scenery, or pretty much anything that one could desire.

All in all, the Arceneau Cultural Archives are meant to be a place of community, learning, self discovery, and of course a gift to the people of the galaxy.

History:
The Arceneau Cultural Archives were thought of by Alric Kuhn nearly twenty years ago.

When Alric and Danger first became friends she had a monument upon his world restored, the Opera House on Empress Teta. Alric had always taken this as a beautiful gift, and since that moment he had schemed to return one of it's equal. It wasn't until after nearly two decades that Alric had the means, ability, and occasion to do so. After a a few weeks of planning Alric began to put the project into motion, contacting officials on Bestine and beginning construction on the Archives as fast as could possibly be done.

The building came up quickly, and through the use of various softwares and droid helpers Alric managed to Scan through the contents of the Black Codex. This allowed him to separate dangerous and secret information away from Culturally, historically, and all around important events in the Galaxy. Eventually, after nearly a month of work, checking, rechecking, and then checking again, petabytes of information were copied from the Black Codex onto the servers within the Arceneau Cultural Archives. With everything set, the building completed and the programs within tested, Alric began pushing forward with the next step of his plan. Retrieving the thing he needed most, and stumbling along the way, Alric headed towards Bestine to complete his plan, calling Danger to meet him there.

Once there, he would reveal the Archives to Danger and open them to the public, allowing the galaxy a new source of information.

*The Cultural Archives does not contain all the knowledge of the Black Codex, only what would be considered "okay" for the Public such as Rancor Mating habits, history of wars, planets, etc.
