The Air is Better Here

Mr. Glade

'Tring to find out what to do with the next coming days is going to be harder than I thought.' The rich boy thought to himself as he walked off a transport ship, it had apparently dropped him off on Naboo, his home world. He was never very fond of the place, though the air was certainly cleaner than Coruscant, and at least he would be able to stay at his family's old manor.

Though Leon never liked the place, he did find time to enjoy the rich architecture of Theed. The boy inhaled as he walked towards a nice empty courtyard, where he sat on a bench.

"Hmm still does not solve my problem." Glade sighed as he looked up to the dimming sky.

His white collared shirt sat untucked, just how he liked it.

Naboo was not full of fond memories for Romeo, there was the Queen's assassination attempt...the beginning of his fall actually. But still, here he was, shades on with a suit to fit that of any man on some business, imperial business. Recently, in the nights Romeo had been studying in the Academy of Bogan on Hoth, he had stumbled upon the history of the Galactic Empire and it's many reformations. The Imperial Remnant, the Crimson Empire, and even those of the most recent ideologies that had failed to bring back the glorious empire that had once been. Now, there was the First Order, something Romeo saw a dark cult not too far from the Ember of Vahl. Sure, people saw himself as a demigod sometimes, others as a heretic, but he wanted nothing to do with the occult. He found religion obscene, and queer these days. The darkside of the Force did not lean to either the Sith, or the Krath Death Witches. It was not a Nightsister exclusive thing, the Force was certainly not, as an entirety, a Jedi way. It was, and always would be, THE FORCE. An unstable power in the end.

Romeo saw, though, something to do with this, something deep within the history books, people of great power who were at the time, main villains of the universe during their times of apex. The only question, how did he get to funding this anew empire? Where would he get the men, and women to help rebuild...no rebirth something as massive as an empire? Rich people, that was how he found it. The rich wanted their names forever in the books, to be remembered centuries later for something great, or terrible they had done. Where better to find such people than Naboo.

Leon sighed as he looked back down towards the empty courtyard, only it was not so empty anymore, There in the open stood a man in a suit, who was quite tall. This man triggered a memory from the young Glade's past. Leon remembered how he would have to wear suits like that to every ball, or party his family attended, his father would always say 'apperance is everything.' The funny thng is, his father was a fool, he cared about the way he dressed, and the way the family presented themselves, more than the company, and the credits itself. Leon let out a small chuckle at th time he decided to wear a white tee-shirt to one of is father's executive dinners, he was grounded for months.

Leon snapped out of his memories with a sigh, his parent's death ment nothing to him, the credits he got however...that was a different story.

The boy pulled his feet up on the bench before looking back over to the only other person in the courtyard and yawning.

"You're ruining the beautiful veiw."

The Force had made him aware of the boy not to far from him, someone who looked like they were searching for better days, maybe even for something to give them purpose. He, though, had not given it thought till the boy spoke out towards him about ruining a beautiful sight. Whatever was beautiful on Naboo, Romeo did not see it. The man's head slowly turned towards the boy, red eyes glared from behind the shades, a soft hint of a glow cut through their darkness. Sliding his hands into his pockets, Romeo began to step towards the boy.

"Do you think you can speak any way you wish, and consequences would not follow behind your words?"

Romeo stopped fight in front of the kid, towering way over him in his seat. The air around Romeo began to get cold, matching the tone in his voice, but yet it was still quite very soft. The Dark Jedi voice was never intimidating, unless he raised it to a full yell.

"Are you brave enough to stop me from ruining your precious view of beauty?"

Leon was annoyed as the man turned towars him, shoved his hands in his pocket, and walk towards the bench. Along the way, the man spoke, The way the man in front of him spoke made Leon a bit scared. The man stood right in front of him, His shadow covered the boy, Leon cowered a bit before answering. "Uh....um-" The boy was utterly speechless, The man in front of him continued.

Was he brave, that was a question only Leon could answer, He sat up straight and looked at the man's sunglasses. "Y-Yeah!" Glade answered as best he could, but his voice cracked in the process.

Leon's face grew a bit red

"I'm pretty sure I could buy and sell you." Glade said a bit more confidently [member="Romeo Sin"]

With his entirety, Romeo had to hold back from laughing at the cowardice the boy showed, but he did not blame him, nor did he think himself superior than the boy. He smiled instead, and sat down next to him once he showed some backbone. This was good, this was a person who wanted to show the galaxy the great middle finger.

"Are you implying that you might be interested in the conception of tracking beings for currency?"

Romeo kept his hands in his pockets as he crossed his legs. He was no longer looking at the boy, but looking up at the sky. Under the shades, his face showed that his mind was on something else, and not even the matter at hand. The man was just multi-tasking, probably amusing himself with the boy.

"That's illegal is some sectors, and systems...I'm not sure if the Techno Union has made it illegal. They, however, could make a ally.." Romeo's voice seemed to trail off near the end of his sentence.

Leon somewhat relaxed when the man who was just towering over him suddenly sat down on the bench next to him.

Leon listened to the man's next words. "Maybe, it all depends on who is asking." Leon said before listening to the man who began to speak again.

He talked about how it was illegal in some sectors, and how the Techno Union may not have outlawed it, the man then went on about allies.

Leon watched the man closely, how he looked up into the sky, and how he sat on the bench.

"So, who is asking." Leon asked in a stern tone.

The sixteen year old then looked at the ground before looking back to the man.

Romeo shook his head, and laughed at the concept.

"Surely, I am not asking you. Human trafficking is just not my shtick. But..let's say you had an option...build a droid army, or a clone army. Which would you chose?"

The man's hand gently turned to look down at the boy while a smile was plastered on his face. Something about Romeo's eyes said he was up to no good.

Leon looked at the man's mischievous smile. Then Thought about the question.

"That all depends on the overall cost of each batch of clone, or droid. There are also, of course, the ups and downs of each....but if I had a choice, I'd prefer thinking on your feet than programming." Leon said before looking back to the sky.

"What makes you ask such a question....you planning a army?" The boy said softly as he looked around.

"And if so....where would you get the funding for such a thing?"

The boy was obviously still too young to grasp some concepts, but for the most part, he had the makings of what Romeo wanted in the end. Maybe Naboo was the best idea.

"My boy...I have a Star Destroyer a few thousand miles from Naboo right now. I have hundreds of soldiers waiting on that ship, not including the Dark Jedi who would die for me. I am, you see, a master of the darkside. My funding comes from whoever I take them from...but yes...I plan to build an army."

"Of course you do..." Leon said sarcastically, then the man said he was a master of the darkside. Leon could only laugh.

"If you think I believe that you have a Star Destroyer, troops, Dark Jedi, and that your a master of the darkside...Your wrong." Leon said loudly, He stood up and looked around.

"And if anyone else was here, they'd agree with me too." Leon said. He then turned to the man.

"Who the hell do you think you are?"

Romeo watched this boy move around with arrogance, a sense of pride that Romeo was unsure where it came from. Maybe there was more to this little brat than the see eye could see, none the less, Romeo would show him the power he possessed. His hand raised up as if reading himself for a handshake. The force reached around the little one's neck, gripped it, and lifted him up.
"Do not mock my power...child."

Leon stood there for a few seconds, and watched as the man got up. and readied himself for a handshake...

Out of nowhere he felt something slowly tighten around his neck and begin lifting him up off the ground. Leon began to reach up to his neck and try to grasp at whatever was around his neck, but his hands closed around nothing. Just then he heard the man say to not mock him.

Leon began to try and breathe but no air came into his lungs. He looked at the man's face.

"S-sorry" He choked out "It wont happen again." He barely said as he continued to grasp around his neck.

Letting him go, he chuckled.

"Im a nice guy, honestly, but you seemed like you wanted proof."

He moved over the kid, and dusted him off, making sure he had caused no real damage.

"Who am I? I am nothing more than a person with a concept."
