Strengths:

Weaknesses:
- Double Action: increases the trigger weight. Resulting in a loss of accuracy. Can be used as a Single Action by pulling back the hammer manually, negating this weakness.

- Heavy: The gun is very heavy. Reduces recoil but is still hard to aim.

Over the past five years the Galaxy has seen a lull in war. The One Sith and The Republic are on the brink of collapse. New nations and factions rise from their ashes. The old guard still remain. Tensions near to a boil. It is only a matter of time before the pot overflows and conflict will rage one more. The question is not when, but where. Macharius Solaire prepares himself by manufacturing new personal equipment. Ready for this new era of war.
The Ace of Spades was made with one goal in mind. To outmatch any other sidearm slugthrower in firepower. And it does just that. Firing a massive .500 caliber HEIAP Shell. It is a devastating weapon, though not without its drawbacks. With such a massive cartridge comes an equally large recoil. While this weapons very high weight helps to compensate for it. There is no way its owner could keep the gun from pulling back without mechanical assistance. That and its high trigger weight for a Dual Action weapon gives it poor accuracy at range and a low firing speed to match. It is not meant to be for long ranges shooting, but as a close quarters gun to blow away an enemy. It also gives up a large ammunition capacity for its design, with only 5 shells chambered.
It doesn't trade everything away for just firepower though. It's incendiary shells will ignite flammables and continue burning for some time after impact. Causing more secondary injuries and burns to the target if they somehow survived. The revolvers high weight also gives it an advantage when used as a blunt weapon. It won't break like a more sensitive blaster and will certainly hurt. The weapon can also be fired as a Single Action revolver, negating the Dual Actions drawback for a slower ROF.
Also looks fly as feth. With a black gunmetal finish and white paint aesthetics. Painted on ace of spades card suits. Cause this is Solaire's lucky gun.
