  • Alignment: The Abyss Key has many persona's and signatures indentured into its system so depending on who rises to the surface first depends on what mindset is needed to open the Holocron
    • I.E A Jedi would take a Lightsided Mindset while a Sith would answer to darkness
  • Origin: The Holocron was originally created by a Dark Jedi who fought during the Mandalorian wars but fell to the Darkside along with Revan and Malak
  • Affiliation: Ravenous and Intrepid Inc
  • Gatekeeper: Many people are stored inside the Holocron and as a result, all of their persona's safeguard the Holocron and its secrets.
    • Jedi, Sith, Nascent Force Wielders, Ravenous, and a strange figure known as the Abyss have all been known to answer the call of the Holocron

DEFENSES
  • Accessibility: Anyone who wishes to open the Holocron simply needs to appeal to one of the presences in the Holocron
  • Security: If someone attempts to destroy the Holocron or Force it to open somehow the relic will unleash and a massive burst of Force energy in all directions. Its destructive capabilities are comparable to Force Destruction. Furthermore, if the Holocron deems anyone accessing its knowledge to be unworthy then it has the power to shut down a person's brain momentarily.
    • Note: This effect will not kill a person and will simply knock them out
    • Strong Force Wielders can resist the brain shutdown
    • Anyone who touches the Holocron and isn't a Force wielder will be electrocuted on contact

CONTENT INFORMATION
The Abyss key holds untold caches of Ancient knowledge and techniques long lost to the common people. The Holocron has information and data dating back to the end of the
Mandalorian Wars and the beginning of the Jedi civil war. The Holocron has made its way into the hands of thousands of Sith and even some Jedi that found themselves slipping into darkness. The farther one delves inside the greater and more bountiful the content becomes. Powers such as Force Drain, Force Burst, and even Force Storm have been recorded inside though these are harder to come by as the knowledge becomes more plentiful and contradictory.
  • Note: As there are many different signatures and accounts inside the Holocron accurate information is harder to come by the deeper one goes back in the records as people begin to contradict one another
  • Note: Finding desired information is like finding a needle in a haystack because of the sheer amount of info to go through

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
During the Jedi Civil war, an unnamed Dark Jedi began to record his findings and past experiences into a Holocron as a way to keep himself sane in the war. His abilities and history were recorded but never his name in fear that his attachment to his past self would draw suspicion from the Dark Lords. The young man was eventually outed and promptly executed by his teacher no less who sifted through the Holocron and decided to use the findings and knowledge for himself. This same process continued for long after with many Dark Lords claiming the Holocron and its teachings until the end of the Great Galactic War in which the Jedi Order secured the Holocron and sealed it inside their temple hiding its existence from anyone who could exploit it.

Unfortunately, the Idea of untold knowledge enticed many within the order and soon the Holocron would find its way back into the hands of exploiters its near-infinite knowledge constantly being added to. Overtime when the Republic and Jedi became complacent in their power the Abyss Key was stolen from the temple allowing it to return to circulation once more. The same process began again as more and more Force Wielders were drawn to the Holocron's mysterious power and intrigue until finally it was lost on the planet of Weik where it created a Force Nexus of Light and Dark energy that the
Paladins of Weik guarded fiercely.

Ravenous managed to get the Holocron's location from the Eternal Alliance Base on the planet of
Odessen but not after Jacen Nimdok Jacen Nimdok took a copy of the files for himself. After a failed attempt to get the files back Ravenous decided it was imperative to get to the Abyss key first and claim its knowledge for himself. Ravenous traveled to Weik and secured the Holocron and was ecstatic to learn that The Abyss Key had developed a sentient consciousness from the countless entries logged into its system.

"The Abyss" as it calls itself acts as a sort of "Search Engine" as it has the power to sift through its near-endless files and find whatever the wielder desires.

  • Note: Prolonged exposure to the Abyss' files can result in insanity
  • While active the Abyss Key has access to all of the users thoughts and emotions and can become hostile if a wielder seems to be a threat
  • Lastly, as the Holocron gains knowledge its computing power and sentient capabilities grow stronger

Pretty nifty. Just a couple of things:

  • Origin: The Holocron was originally created by a Dark Jedi who fought during the Mandalorian wars but fell to the Darkside along with Revan and Malak.
For ease of access, please link Revan and Malak.

Also links for the aforementioned Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Civil War.

If there's a link for the Paladins of Weik, please include it as well.
