"So shit has changed."

Arris leaned against the wall near where Triaso curled up and crossed her arms.

"Listen... In an ideal sitch, you'd have all the time you need to process this, but you don't.

"As far as Jerec is concerned, you are property on the run - as far as Narsh is concerned, you're another broke loser."

It was the way things were. Nothing was ever going to change on that front. So as far as Arris believed, it was Triaso who had to be the one to change - the only variable in her control was herself. Of course, the scoundrel wasn't so wordy as to offer up such succinct wisdom. Still, she kept talking the Jedi through it as best she could.

"You need to commit to this rock or get off it. That's the only choice you get to make right now, so what will it be?"

There was a part of Triaso that wanted to sit in this room and do nothing except wallow in her own misery. For someone who had nothing, it was an intoxicating and tempting offer, even if it wasn't an offer at all. Arris was right; as far as this planet was concerned, Triaso was just another broke loser soaking in the smog and breathing in its fumes.

She knew that she probably couldn't rely on Arris long-term. Even if the other woman didn't have her own life to live, it would be an exceptionally imposing task to ask someone she barely knew to help her build an entire life out of nothing. If she stayed, that guy she'd been sold to would track her down eventually. If she left, she'd maybe have a fighting chance. Maybe.

It wasn't a lot, but it was enough.

"I need to get off this planet," she murmured, face still buried in her knees, "I don't know where I could go, but I can't stay here."

Arris thought about it for a moment.

Part of her was now ready to kick this woman out and let her find a way off this rock, and yet...

"I split my time between here and a planet called Desevro."

A former capital of the Tion Hegemony - an empire that ceased to exist well before even Triao's time, but the sector maintained its legacy as a cornerstone of power in the Outer Rim. It was near the Sith Holy Worlds of Ziost, Korriban, and Dromund Kaas.

"I'm heading out that way once I finish my business here. You could tag along... there's a lot of work out there for people like you, no questions asked."

In her time, it was tantamount to suicide for a Jedi to be anywhere near Dromund Kaas or Korriban. For all she knew, it still was. Thankfully, she didn't recognize the name of Desevro; either she'd never been, or her ailing mind didn't remember it. With the way that Arris hesitated - brief, but tangible - Triaso knew that this was a one-time offer. At least until she could pay the blonde back in some way.

The Keshian sighed, partially relieved to have someone willing to help her and partially glad to have found some sort of travelling companion to keep her moving while her symptoms remained. Alone, she might as well be signing her death warrant.

Looking up from her knees, she found the form of the cyborg leaning against the wall with her eyes, the same blonde person-shaped blob from before.

It was all she could do to croak out a, "Thank you."

"Don't thank me yet," she retorted.

Arris walked back over to her weapons table and began to string some of her gear together.

"Look, I have a job to do first, and you need to regain some sight. Eat that food, drink that water..."

She glanced the woman up and down inquisitively. "Work out a little."

With that, Arris stuffed what she needed in a bag and made for the door. She turned back to stare at the woman before heading out, and the door closed behind her.

And stay out of trouble...

Triaso managed a small scoff as she heard Arris's words, her eyes rolling slightly at the blonde's assessment of her muscle. Even if she was particularly well-built she doubted she'd be lifting anything heavy anytime soon. But she could at least take the time that the blonde would be gone to rest and recover.

At the very least, Arris being gone would give her enough privacy to get in a good cry.

She watched the blonde's figure move around, strapping various gear onto herself before it made its way to the door. She met Arris' gaze tiredly as she paid her one last look, and a pitiful wave.

"I'll be here."
