That's a block on my fight! (No! Not the face! Part 1)

In the secret hidden headquarters of the Assassin Super Sentinels on Nal Hutta, there lies a certain mercenary that doesn't take lightly to competition

Within, a single uniformed assassin crawls helplessly across the blood soaked stone floor of their conference room. A well aimed blaster bolt finds it's way lodged into his head, rearranging it into tiny pieces scattered about the floor rather violently. This, of course, kills the man and adds his body among the countless others that litter the floor of the room and also made up all the members of the society. Andreas reholsters his blaster with a stylized twirl of the weapon and proceeds to hack into the main computer of the now disbanded society. He checks their targets out of curiosity and finds there are only three left, all of them force-sensitive.
"Hmph, they won't mind if I take this off their hands"
The veteran mercenary evacuates A.S.S. HQ and spreads his wings, soaring towards @[member="Rexus Drath"]

The Eradication of Repulsive Evil and Corruption Team that's what Rexus Drath was a part of, he was E.R.E.C.T and he was here to deliver this place from evil! Evil like the man who had just slain all the innocent assassins of this place. The man was quite evil, he could of blown up an orphanage instead! But no, he decided to kill blood thirsty murders who killed for money. Who were the orphans going to tell, their parents? So that's why Rex was here, to stop this man from hurting anymore people. Tracking this force sensitive merc Rexus was here to either convert or eliminate the target. Surly it would be a tough fight, but he could certainly handle it.

Having already been to late to save these people Rexus burst into to the room to try and stop this man. With a snap his of his silver lightsaber he approached the man holding it up "Wintergreen! Turn yourself in or face punishment!" He said to the Andre 3000 looking brotha from anotha motha. @[member="Andreas Wintergreen"]

@[member=Rexus Drath] managed to catch Andreas right before he leapt out the window to search for the man who found him instead. He looked back over his shoulder at the man as he activated his silver lightsaber and said his words. He sighed to himself as soon as he heard his name. Was his identity really that exposed now? Did the battle suit and helmet he wore make no difference anymore? He guessed it was time for a new suit. This one just didn't inspire fear in enemies like it used to. That part, he's gonna have to do the old fashioned way: by force.

Rexus would be a tricky opponent. There are no records on this guy besides having previously joined an organization peculiarly named E.R.E.C.T. According to his file in the A.S.S. database, he just mysteriously appeared. That said, it was time to bring in his bounty. Piercing yellow eyes locked onto Rexus as Andreas discreetly force crushed the lightbulb hanging in the middle of the room. The resulting flash of light would be blinding and the shards of glass flying everywhere would be distracting. To Rexus, that is. Andreas' firrirrean DNA has supplied him with protective membranes over the eyes to shield from debris and light.

While the shadow blade is distracted, he'll open fire with the light repeat blaster he had on his back, aiming for a few shots to his chest and head that should kill him dead. Why bring a rifle to a sword fight? Well, anyone who knows Andreas' past (that being very, very few) know that he was a soldier before he was a sith and a soldier's weapon is his best friend and being armed to the teeth, Andreas had quite a lot of friends. So why not? Also, it'd be pretty stupid to just draw a sword and go charging in against a possibly trained opponent.

The man was fast, very fast. As soon as Rex busted in he fired upon him. Now Rex was fast but he wasn't that fast, blocking the shots to his head with his saber he deflected them back to Wintergreen. However the ones to his chest were another story. blocking most of the ones to his squishy vitals Rexus took a bolt to his upper right section of his torso. A bit between the shoulder and pectoral Rexus took the shot. It burned and hurt but just as wintergreen Rexus was a soldier before this. Before the sabers and DVD force he was a humble combat medic who did his job in the fight. "Glob dammit!" Rexus winced as he reached out to the force to make his next move. This man was tough but he was not unbeatable

Grabbing a chair with the force Rex flung it at wintergreen to block the incoming shots from hitting him, Rex wasn't some almighty Jedi or Sith. He was just a guy and he bled like the rest of them. However so was wintergreen just a man that could bleed. Reaching out again with the force Rexus picked up plenty of the dead bodies on the floor and flung them at the man in front of him. They would serve as enough as a distraction for the knight to close with the man and put in a strike or two

Walking forward Rex kept his guard at the ready, he was going to try and close with the man as the bodies flew in every which direction. He really wished he had a gun right now but beggars couldn't be choosers in this situation. "My turn!" Rexus shouted as he came closer to wintergreen closing the gap between them @Andeas Wintergreen

Some of his bolts were deflected back towards him. Anyone dealing with a lightsaber wielder should expect this. A few slight ducks and weaves took care of those without taking his eyes off his target. What was problematic was the addition of a chair into the equation that, when struck by one of his bolts, immediately burst into a cloud of sawdust and splinters, causing him to lose sight of @[member=Rexus Drath] for a second as he ceased fire. What was also a nuisance was the many dead bodies being sent his way now. He ducked under a few, rolled away from another and jumped over the rest all while trying to keep his eye on the target, but it was impossible to dodge all of them and he soon wound up stumbling a bit as one actually hit him.

He recovered in time to realize Rexus had closed the distance and shout his arrival. Rexus was definitely right, Andreas did have some speed. The kind of incredible speed granted only by his natural inhuman speed trained to it's peak and decades of practice and experience and seeing as his opponent is close range and wielding a weapon capable of cutting through just about everything Andreas has on his person including himself, speed is a vital asset. As soon as he had recovered, Andreas took advantage of his crouched position to spin, drop and extend one of his legs in order to sweep the shadow sword off of his feet where he should fall on his back, face or side depending on his momentum. This would give the mercenary more than enough time to fire on the fallen Rexus.

Rexus was slammed onto the ground from the sweep, coughing from his rough landing Rexus remembered how bad gravity sucked at times. "Okay! Now you are just making me mad!" on his side a now Rexus saw the incoming plasma bolts that would no doubt end his life if he didn't do anything about it. The writer still needed him for the invasion going on so this wasn't really the best of times to get shot in the face. Extending his arm quickly Rexus deflected the bolts with his saber and quickly stood back up to dive and take cover behind the opposite side of the stone table where more than likely the mercenary was taking cover. Catching his breath Rex coughed and looked over at his wound. It was something he'd live from but it would certainly cause him to hinder his fighting skills

Now this was the part of the post wgere Rexus would make his attack, looking nearby Rexus saw one of the dead men with a blaster pistol around his belt. Tapping into the force Rexus lifted the dead assassin up and firmly secured his lightsaber around his belt. Standing up he used the man as a meat shield grabbing his pistol holstered around his waist. Holding it firmly Rex took aim at the merc behind his cover and began firing a torrent of blaster bolts to keep the man pinned down as he advanced behind the dead body. @[member="Andreas Wintergreen"]

"Am I supposed to care?"
Andreas retorted to Rexus' statement. He continued to shoot at the shadow sword as he blocked the bolts until he took cover behind a stone table. He could have easily blasted through it, but alas, when he pulled the trigger to do so, all he heard was a duo of ominous clicks that signigied the complete consumption of ammo. Besides the two clipped to his twin blasters at his sides, that was it for power packs. He quickly discarded the E-11 and quickly weaved side to side to evade some blaster bolts from the pistol Rexus was holding.

He remarked to himself that Rexus must be a trained fighter as he can both deflect blaster bolts with his lightsaber and efficiently wield a firearm. Briefly stumbling over a dead body his helmet's HUD didn't pick up, Andreas took three or more straight shots to the abdomen. Now, even though the sheer force of the bolts could knock a man onto his back even with bolt-absorbing armor, the incredible shock-absorbing effects of the thermal gel (and a perfect six pack) that coats the interior of the suit made the shots feel like mere full force punches from your average human male.

Because he eats those for breakfast, Andreas rolls to the forward right to avoid getting shot again and finally close the distance. Well, if a sword fight is what @[member=Rexus Drath] wanted, now he has it. Wasting no motion, Andreas drew his darksaber from his holster, the pitch black blade shooting to life with a crackle of white electricity and hum softer and higher pitched than that of a lightsaber, and slashed at Rexus' side with a horizontal single handed crescent slice with his right hand from left to right.

Rexus pushed the body forward do it could be sliced in half the mercs incoming attack, this was it now. A sword fight, personally Rexus' writer preferred using guns to the boring combat that was saber duels of he hit there the blocked so he would make this more interesting for the both of them. Reaching for his saber to block the next incoming strike Rex activated the beam but had raised it way too high. The blade sliced the tip of the saber off causing it to no loner function at all. He would have to resort to what was around him. He had a good ten shots left in his blaster do so he would have to make them all count. Backing up Rex extended his left hand to send out a force push towards the merc hopefully toppling him backwards so he could begin the next phase of his attack.

Raising the blaster pistol he had Rex fired a good three rounds at wintergreen to try and breech his armor. He had hit him already weakening the armor but now he would have to capitalize on it so the pair could keep this pretty awesome duel going."Surrender Man!" Firing another two shots towards his head Rexus would have to rely on his skills as a soldier to fight off this man. But Rex was already wounded and his light saber gone, how he was going to get out of this one he had not the slightest idea @[member="Andreas Wintergreen"]

A force push sent the mercenary flying backwards towards a wall as expected from someone with a lightsaber. Andreas kicked one foot out behind him to keep himself from smashing into the wall and then used that same foot to kick off of said wall once Rexus starts shooting. He rolls at a diagonal to dodge the bolts coming at him while he draws his own blaster pistol and dashes forward to both close the distance and slash Rexus across the face with his elbow, which should stagger him while he raises the pistol to the shadow blade's head and fires. The boy was injured, bleeding and saberless. The time for observing was over. It was time to finish the job.

Well this was a fine patch of turnips Rexus had gotten himself into now. The man was coming at a brotha like it was going out of style. However Rex didn't need a saber to fight this guy, he went four years as just an average guy and now with the force all he needed was his fists and the blaster at his side. Ducking down the lanky man dodged the elbow, now standing at an awkward stance he needed to correct his stance then deal some damage. Grabbing his blaster he flipped it around grabbing the barrel to make it into a makeshift club. It would do the job of getting his point across and do some good damage in the process.

With his knee he augmented himself so it wouldn't shatter on contact with the armor. Now taking it he lifted it up going for a knee to the merc's gut. But not wanting to stop there more damage needed to be done, with the pistol club in hand he straightened his form and brought the large pistol handle down on the top of the man's armored dome @[member="Andreas Wintergreen"]

Andreas grunted as the knee connected in the one part of the breastplate not layered with thermal gel and the handle of the pistol came down on the top of the helmet. Fortunately, the helmet was made of stregthened durasteel and had a thick layer of thermal gel so he wasn't all that phased by it. Backing up a bit, Andreas caught sight of what just whacked him across the dome. With slight delight, he noted the man's flexible imagination. Never could he have thought to use the handle as a blunt weapon (I did, though). Slugging someone with the handle would definitely do more damage than a simple pistol whip. Though, personally, he'll stick to gun kata. Andreas feigned a jab to his face, only to actually roundhouse kick Rexus' side. Whether or not the kick was blocked, Rexus would still have to worry about the blaster Andreas held which was going to be fired at his chest on the moment of impact.
