Innovation and success are the same in the fact that each is just like a mirage sitting at the end of a burning desert horizon. You think the answer to you cracked throat and dried skin is sitting there before that scorching yellow sun, if only you could just crawl forward a little longer. The fact is that the closer you think you are getting to that almighty force-given grace, the farther you actually are from it. More often than not the clear oasis you are so desperately clawing for is straight plum in the opposite direction; waiting over those rocky hill that most aren't smart enough to peek over.

Ethan made his living on peeking over hills. That's how he got into Spaarti in the first place. Your normal jack-pot CEO couldn't be bothered less with those hills and that's why most of them kept on running mediocre companies with mediocre visions. Ethan didn't follow a vision. He created visions.

That was exactly why Ethan was meeting with Grand Moff Palpatine and Susan Garter here today at Spaarti Creations Headquarters. He needed an in to get deals made with the Imperials and Suzan gave him the perfect opportunity. As it turns out, Susan had been hired out to create a new weapon system for the Remnant and she was offering to sell a few units to Spaarti. Of course that was nice of her, but it was hardly the reason Ethan wanted to discuss this all in the company of a Remnant official. He wanted to offer his services to the springing Empire.

Standing in the harsh sunlight of Cartoa, Ethan watched from the North docks in wait for the shuttle carrying Palpatine and Susan. They were getting the VIP treatment where Ethan would show them around the grounds, talk them up a little bit before hitting them with business.

Patricia's shuttle touched down on the planet's humid jungle environment at Ethan's headquarters and landed with grace on a very fine and well tailored pad. By the looks of things on the way down it was much more swanky than her own offices on Relovian and it made her feel a little self conscious. Here was Ethan in his castle and she had a few cubicles and factories. But hey her company was still growing and Ethan and her were partners in this business. Not that she even remotely trusted the man but he had his uses and they were capable of working together to achieve a common goal. What that goal was Patricia wasn't exactly sure but hey, more money.

So exiting her shuttle Patricia sighed and wore her tight little red dress that showed off her features quite well. She put on her best friendly smile and found Ethan waiting for her and the other guest which was the Grand Moff of the Imperial Remnant, which was pretty cool. Patricia was going to get a contract with one of the most powerful men in the galaxy.

But as Patricia approached Ethan she flashed him a smile and spoke in a very friendly but professional tone.

"So nice to see you Ethan, it's a good day for both our companies." she said and gave the man a sweet little kiss on the cheek.
